The few furnishings in this large chamber are restricted to racks, iron maidens, and other implements of torture. Near the center of the room a massive table with manacles hanging from each corner bears testament to grisly interrogations, and nearby a pair of wooden tubs stand empty, their contents long since evaporated. Toban thinks, tugging on his moustache as he looks at the big torture room. "Didn't she say... I quote: 'There’s a big room inside, and I stashed my share under the flagstones in one of the small chambers nearby.' Which small room is the question..."
Toban approaches the first of the small cells off the big room. "I'll start here." Using his traveller's-any-tool he attempts to pry up and shift the flagstones, hoping to find the stash they're searching for.

Just as Toban and Cerryl enter the room, and well before they can get more than a few steps into it, they find it will be rough going...all the tools scattered along the floor are sharp and moving through the room will be slow...

There was something on the ceiling though couldn't tell what before the lights went out.
I am assuming Cerryl can still see the aura without light since it is spellbased sight? If, so is it still there or was it the spell trigger...and lastly is it moving or not? Course I guess if he needs to be able to see to also see the aura it doesn't matter.

Cerryl, I'd say you couldn't see the aura after the darkness spell hits; as I recall, darkness will suppress any magical light that's at an equal or lesser spell level...but you do know that the aura was just 5' feet north of your position. Also, you can move 10' without cutting yourself...
Toban sweeps the southwest quadrant of the darkness clear of sharp implements...however, he is the only one aware of where the pile is...
Cerryl hears a shrill voice coming from the west...he can tell the language is Undercommon...and it sounds like a summoning spell...
As Toban and Cerryl have already reacted, I'll wait a bit to give Lovissa, Rosie, and Jastrokan time to react to the darkness, if they so wish, before moving us on...

Listening to the sounds of battle, Lovissa slowly moves towards the fight. Unfortunately, that makes her bump into Jastrokan. "Oh, dear! Who was that? Jastrokan? Careful, lad! The enemy's close."
Then she tries to listen to see if she can figure out which way to go next...

Cerryl, while you can make the Knowledge check anytime, your turn as far as initiative goes is not yet up...unless circumstances change, I'll take your CLW result as your action when your turn comes up...
The water elemental's attack misses this go round but Lovissa's keen senses think that her elemental friend is directly west of her and its target directly west of it...
Combat! Round 1: The bold may post!
Attacking in the dark: if you target the correct square, your target will have 50% concealment, i.e., you'd have a 50-50 chance of hitting your for even if your attack would otherwise damage it...
