Primketh blinks for half a heartbeat, surveying the situation. We’re outnumbered but they didn’t seem especially skilled in battle; let’s see if I can take this group out! He then hustles into—not away from—the room full of kobolds and with an outstretched paw-like hand, a vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth at one of the groups of ambushers! (DC 15 WILL negates)

”Hopefully that takes care of some of these for the time being! Jaeqil, Tabin—there are more around the corner!”

It’s hard to tell with the placement of tokens if I can hit all of either of the groups of three, which is what I’d like to do. Some tokens are kind of halfway inside two squares. I’d like to hit three at once, whether it’s the top group or the right-hand group. There's the other 15' cone template available on the slide if needed.

Rolf points a bony finger at the squatty kobold. It's scales are some boring version of brown or green, but the little creature must have thought that black dragon scales were much more frightening, as it has painted itself head to toe in black.

"You steick nose out for Jaeqil!" he commands, then busts out into a hearty laugh at his cleverness.

Evil eye on the black kobold, -2 to AC. DC 15 will save, Cackle to extend by 1 round just in case he makes his save.

Witch's Winter Holiday

@Primketh, I moved your token so you could catch all three kobolds at the same range. Due to the upward angle of the cone, you wouldn't be able to get the one in the back from your previous position.

You summon a bridge of shimmering moonlight. The 10-foot-wide span touches the ground at a point adjacent to your position. From this point it can extend in any direction for 10 feet per oracle level. The path persists until you have crossed over the bridge or for 24 hours, whichever is shorter. The catfolk lays his furry hands on Jaeqil once more and offers a bit of divine guidance. The ghoran doesn't really seem to need it, surrounded as he is by the fallen bodies of his opponents, but it certainly doesn't hurt. The unlucky kobold thinks itself rid of its curse as it dodges left and right to avoid Tabin's arrows, but swiftly reconsiders that as Rolf's bolt catches it squarely in the check and sends it to the floor.

Rolf scurries up with his teammates, putting a hand on Primketh's back to shake him out of his cat-in-the-torchlight look.

"Feilthy creatures, stupid rats." he mutters as he sees the newest foes. He furrows his brows, staring into the rotten soul of one of the disease ridden rats.

Evil eye, -2 to saves, DC 15 will save.

Witch's Winter Holiday

Jaeqil:
D'oh! Thanks for reminding me!

These are dire rats - larger, more cunning relatives of the more omnipresent rodents that plague every civilization. While their bites might not be very dangerous in and of themselves to experienced adventurers, their saliva often carries all sorts of terrible diseases that can haunt their killers for weeks afterwards.

Which rat does Rolf stare at?: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Tabin's arrows strikes true, and one rat falls limply to the ground. Another squeaks as Rolf stares...

Cyan Will vs DC 15: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

...but seems to resist the worst of the witch's curse. In a mad rush, the rats swarm the adventurers!

Luckily, neither Jaeqil nor Tabin suffer any damage as they shake the rodents of unusual size off their ankles.

Yellow provokes an AoO from Jaeqil from moving through a threatened square.

Rolf scoots back a couple of steps, knowing how awkward it can be to shoot a bow and arrow at such short range.

The battle lust in his ulfen blood surges again, the skinny northman unable to control his emotions. He lets out a peal of belly laughter, excitement for the fight bubbling over.

Cackle to extend the evil eye, hoping it will help with this upcoming color spray.

Rolf switches his wicked stare to the rat with the yellow frothing teeth. Evil eye, -2 to saves again.

Witch's Winter Holiday

Jaeqil's club catches on the low ceiling again as he tries to whack the moving rat, but his backswing catches another in the side and it sways unsteadily. The first rat tries to resist Rolf's stare...

Yellow Will vs DC 15: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

...and it doesn't seem to ignore the dark fate the witch has in store for it (or perhaps it simply doesn't fully grasp the concept of "fate"), but the look and the laugh are both distracting.

Rolf, the first rat's Evil Eye duration was up before you could extend it with Cackle since it made its save. This new rat made its save too, but since you Cackled in the same round it is extended.

Botting Tabin
