Da'at grabs the non-moving consumables and motions to the next door over. "Lets keep a move on."

![]() |

Atticus swipes one of the antitoxins before Da'at gathers them all up.
Lets move out he whispers as he heads along the corrdor towards the store room door. Checking ot over, he quietly opens it if it looks safe.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26

Atticus checks the storeroom.
The drow store food items, tools, and other miscellaneous equipment here, some of which looks brand new. Unfortunately, everything is written in Drow and there doesn't seem to be an order to it - a few minutes would be required to investigate in full.

![]() |

Judging how long it would take to search the entire room OP-1 asks the others for their opinion
"Should we a few minutes here to make sure we don't miss a vital clue on where the weapons are being kept or do we move quickly on to avoid being spotted?"
OOC I feel like if we don't search this right now we might miss out on some reward or a finding a secret room or something..but in character it makes much more sense to just skip an seemingly empty room and move on

Vee Vee |

Vee Vee scratches her nose with the scorpion claw, and shrugs.
Have DMed this, so prefer to pass on such decisions - though I do not remember that much re. details.

Decisions decisions... maybe a timer is ticking, maybe it isn't; maybe you miss out on something, maybe you don't. Maybe it is a time sink, maybe it is a fortune waiting to be collected? How's the suspense?

"Can't see how a few moments can make a difference. Once we hit that elevator button, the entire complex will know we are here. May as well take the opportunity."
Assuming we check the room...

Atticus nods at Kiv, I agree but lets be quick. Having someone who can detect magic would be really handy about now. I am sure these Captains use some sort of random number generator to decide who to send on missions.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Da'at scoffs. "Buddy, let me tell you: you haven't even begun to see what kind of people you can get matched up with. I've been on two missions now with near psychopathic androids. Insofar as missions go... This is refreshingly psycho-free."
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Hopefully if there is a timer, it will take into account multiple people vs only one performing a search.

Da'at stifles a whistle. "Well then. Come to papa" he coos at the grenades.
Shall we split the high capacity batteries? Also, say something if you want any of the stuff he grabbed reflexively from the other room.

![]() |

Keeping an eye out on the corridor as the room get's "inspected" OP-1 suggest to move on to the next room after it's clear it's been thoroughly ransacked and there are no hidden supplies of missing weapons present.
Maybe it's handy to distributed the healing serums so that everyone has one. And I'd like one of the grenades..just in case we need to blow something up in sync ;)

Atticus slips out of the workshop. Lets check the rest of the level he whispers heading round the corner and checking the door.

Passing out serums and grenades as his fellows desire, Da'at quickly motions to the door to the room the layout marks as "Workshop" "Quick detour?"

A wall-mounted holographic projector on the east wall shows a map of Nightarch.
A mesmerizing silvery glow highlights the buildings and districts against an otherwise black background. Several locations on the map are marked with pulsating red dots. Six deco chairs surround a long table in the center of the room.

Equipped with the newest in holographic technology, this meeting room is particularly well-suited for presentations. It appears this is where Villyth and her underlings use it to plan heists because you work out that locations marked on the map correspond to areas controlled by House Xicton.
Heading to the offices or the lobby?

Radial walls divide this circular space into five rooms that surround a round central room. You can see the other offices through the glass.
In each room there is a computer terminal, and the room Atticus is standing in seems to have quite a lot of 'weapon enthusiast' paraphernalia. The computer appears locked, and requires a passcode. Someone was in here quite recently.

Aha, finally, something to have a crack at!
Atticus plops himself in the chair, scans the desk to see if its occupant wrote down their password on a post-it somewhere and tries to hack in.

Atticus finds an angry message that Villyth sent to Raimsael 9 hours ago: “Raimsael! When are the weapons ready to be shipped?” A few hours ago, Raimsael replied: “The guns are ready to be shipped now. I’ll have them loaded on the Ettercap so we can move them as soon as necessary.”

Atticus flips the screen round so everyone can read it. That doesn't sound good, we best get a move on.

Moving anticlockwise
The northeast office appears to belong to a 'Malindeil'. There is a credstick next to Malindeil’s computer. I\Hacking her computer, you find a recent message from Villyth: “Malindeil! The new half-orc mercs are terrible! I hope you didn’t pay a lot for them. I love what the boys down in the caverns did to Grimillak, though!”
Continuing around to the next room you find Villyth Zeizerer’s office. Villyth’s computer appears to be broken.it appears someone repeatedly hit the computer with a blunt object. Next to the computer, there is a large black spider plush toy.
Moved you around on the map

Atticus checs out the door to the office space and opens it if it seems safe to do so.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
These drow are not so different to any other race, interresting. The spider obsession is a bit weird though. I wonder who Grimmilak is?

Da'at follows along, his skills in computer-related affairs only slightly better than the last generation's. [smaller]"If we need to get a move on, why are we still here?"
Can we get a sense of how much time we are spending searching the offices?

"Going by this note it seems there's a cavern somewhere. Might be worth while to check it out"
OP-1 eyes the spider toy suspiciously
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 (+2 in case it's a trap)

Shifty |

Searching is about a minute each to rifle through, crack a terminal password, cursory examination...
The spider toy doesn't seem wired to anything, and simply sitting on a solid desk (not a pressure plate). The plush toy has “Abysshead” written in Abyssal along the bottom of its abdomen.

Vee Vee |

Vee Vee looks at the scorpion claw in her one hand, and then at the spider toy.
"Can I take it? It's like the thing in the guy's office. The spider that I cannot remember the name of..."

Take what you want says Atticus but do it quickly. I suspect the elevator takes us to this cavern but we should finish exploring this level first.
Atticus opens up the door into the office area.
