Arianna: Yes, you do/did have time for a short rest, but not a long.
Gunnar: Probably quite well, although don't forget the chain is also linked to all the metal machinery of the ferry.

That would just so f~ing COOL to be able to say, "Yeah, I'm part ferry-chain from the shadow realm."
Or, since I made the save, we could say I still take the -2 Dex, but I don't lose the speed. (Fair trade, by any standard.)
What do you think?

Hey all, you all know that when I thought "Well it's all up to me" I was just reflecting the moment of desperation he one would feel when the only friend that was next to him, the bear, flies away, and he does NOT know if he can hold on until she comes back. That would be a very lonley and isolating feeling.

Sure, you can fail the CON roll. That would inflict the full consequences.
Since you've already made the roll...hrmmmm...I guess if you want to take the -2 DEX to offset the +1AC that's okay. You're basically allowing some of the magic to have its way, but not quite all.

We recently got access to HBOMax, so all of us are churning through the old Justice League cartoons.
I am absolutely convinced that, given all the destruction that is simply de rigor of every super fight, that there must be a sub-set of mutant/powered beings whose chief power is the re-construction of buildings.

Marvel has Damage COntrol which contracted out super tech work to rebuild new york. Several Tech heroes worked with the organization to make rebuilding and disposal relatively easy

@GM: So, yeah, the thing needs to make a roll against Frightened. Meant to point that out but was too tired.
@Arianna: In 5E you get one free "manipulate item" action, so you can ready the bow for free and shoot as standard, just FYI.

If that acid ball turns out to be a magical effect and Gunnar recognizes it as such, his counterspell may work to negate that effect. Since it happened after his necrotic damage, Gunnar will take full damage from that, but then his Arcane Ward will come up from his casting of the abjuration spell.
If it isn’t magic or he doesn’t know (because of a low Arcana check to identify it), he will just responds with another lightning bolt if they are still lines up well…
Luthael: Odds you can get three, evens you can get 2. 1d6 ⇒ 6.
Aterro: They are constructs formed of unicorn blood and undead hatred, so immune to fear.
Gunnar: The acid is a natural attack like a breath weapon not a spell.

I don’t know if it is needed, but Aterro’s first attack should be at advantage (from Gunnar’s help). I think Reckless Attack for Ingryd is for all attacks, too (if needed).
