Well I know Ingryd would love to have a cart and horse for looting and supplies as well as maybe a few underlings. As well as maybe a home base that we can build off of
You all do have a wagon. Given plenty of helpers and tools at the manor, it wouldn't take long to remove the cage from the gnome's wagon. As for a horse, you can trade the ox for a draft horse or pair of mules if you wish.
We don't have to RP it all out (unless someone really wants to) but it will take someone making an INT(Wagons, Carts, Blacksmith, or Carpenter) Check to see how long it takes to make any modifications to the wagon if you wish to do so. Minimum is one day to modify the wagon and trade for new stock.

Gunnar go ahead and make the roll with Advantage and your PB. Also be sure to say what you are modifying. ie. Just removing the cage or are you adding a cloth cover to the wagon or turning into into something a bit more solid like a gypsy wagon.

DM, there is a line in the spell text for Find Steed that says 'Your GM might allow other animals to be summoned as steeds.' Mastiff and pony are the defaults that work for halfling riders. I was thinking leopard, just since pony is boring and mastiff I recently used a bunch with Karley. Panther stats are probably the closest or fine just using pony or mastiff stats with a reskin. What do you think?
Its also a paladin-only spell, which makes it interesting RP wise. He's found some loophole to cast this prestigious holy magic. Scram's goddess is imprisoned, and he is certainly no paladin. I was thinking it might have an astral/Ginnungagap flavor.
Or maybe you'd let me get a little kooky with a Roving Mauler?

I'm half surprised there wasn't a Battletech/Mechwarrior reference in Aterro's suggestions.

But sure, I'll let you go with panther. That could actually fit with the Mnemosyne angle because one of her masks is Yemaja down in the Southlands. Which is odd...as I actually try to reconcile what is in the recent 5E Southlands book with the Midgard Worldbook the story and situation of Mnemosyne, Nethus, Seggotan, and Yemaja is very contradictory. But I guess no one can know the gods.
So while you've found a way to cast the spell without the official sanction of a god/goddess that a paladin would have, your steed will still hold itself true to your goddess (who oddly is imprisoned, but not imprisoned) and her tenets.

I'm not really sure how the RP chain lead to us losing a major magic item, but I assume that the same logic would let us reverse engineer us getting it back.
I'd consider it a gain if we traded a flying thing for a flying thing with a brewing setup. :)

With Attero's aura, it seems like everyone survived well that 71 damage. And with the attacks, I think the ghoul is toast.

If so its indicated in the monster stat block with the ability. Not sure if this was a Tareth Custom or Kobold Press creation. I'll peek in the Midgard MMs.

I didn't find the bone tornado, but I did find something called a 'ghoulsteed'. Basically a ghoul with a chair on its back that you ride. Not kidding.

It was his first job at 15. Sure, it didn't score him any ghoul-chicks, but it taught him what hard work was all about. He saved up 3 summers worth of coin to buy his first mandolin, thus beginning his adventuring life as a man-eating bard.
