OOC, Jelani, if you want to just hand-waive it, I'm also curious about D2. How far from shore is it? If rope-length then we can repeat our trick of me swimming over (with swim speed + waterbreathing) and the others following.

The thing is, the fortress is an 'important' place, so I'm going to have to either flesh it out, or just abstract it majorly and run any encounters there theater of mind. Finding random online maps for these little dens and stuff hasn't been bad so far, but honestly I don't have time to put together a multi-room dungeon type thing from scratch these days and have it be any good.

I know I should have technically read the whole AP in detail before running it, but I didn't realize that book 3 had basically no maps other than the city map, or I would have never picked it up in the first place.

I guess at this point I need to decide what to do. Feels like a really lame reason to stop a game that's been going this long, but I'm not prepared to map all of Saventh-Yhi to finish this book either. The encounter writing is honestly the shittiest I've ever seen too. How many times are they going to have you fight bog-standard Charau-ka and apes? 15? 20?

Book 3 of this is the most unfinished, least-creative, crappiest thing I've ever seen Paizo's name on.

How would you guys feel about moving to discord/roll20 and doing something in 5e? I think I have one more player I could interest in joining and I've already got the beginning of a slightly altered Rime of the Frost Maiden prepared...
