Meant to ask this in post, would the others have any sort of bonus on their checks given I succeeded one and pointed it out? Not that it would make a difference, seemingly, so far... but for the others like Florian and Heverly?
Sure. +2 bonus to everyone after Brice. Still no difference yet, but we'll see how Heverly does.
GM, this isn't really relevant yet but I had a question about magic items.
Will you be allowing custom items or the modification of specific magic items?
For example, allowing the adding of a resistance bonus to saves to muleback cords so you can have benefit of both shoulder slot items.
For specific items, I mean things like adding a better enhancement bonus to a Flametongue sword by upping to +2 or adding the keen ability as well. Or having + 3 folding plate instead of being stuck at +1 forever.
Not a big deal to me either way, but I like to rough plan my gear purchases ahead of time. Knowing what you'll allow makes tht easier.
GM, is it dark/dim out? What do the sailors appear to be doing?
Dim light in the water, but enough torches on the boat and within 20ft of it, to make the lighting there normal. Sailor's are too slow to react, so it's hard to say at this point.
Also, I have to apologize, I was trying to get a map up for this one, but the one that's provided, has an extremely narrow boat, that would make it difficult to fit everyone on that supposedly stays on this boat. I eventually gave up and we're just going theatre of the mind for this encounter.

Any word from Florian? Sounded like he was thinking of webbing some of the merfolk or somesuch...

So I pm'ed and sent an email to our GM. Haven't seen a response yet (but that might be due to not having access to my personal email at work) but hopefully it will get things moving. Hopefully everything is going ok with him and Florian.

Still nothing yet. Also Dorian is approaching my way, estimated to be coming through tomorrow. Should not be an issue, I am not in a major flood zone, but if I am suddenly quiet for a bit that is possibly why.

Well, knocking on wood but it seems to have passed us with not too much damage. We got a decent amount of rain and the winds caused us to lose power for about 5 or 6 hours (not too bad restoral times under the circumstances) but we are back up and running again now. Thanks for the well wishes.

Not sure if anyone is still checking, but it's been over a month since we've had any contact from either Florian or the GM.

Checking in at last. I apologize for sort of stalling things out and disappearing. I've been dealing with pretty severe depression lately, which makes things, well, difficult at times.
Anywho, I'm still around and trying to get back into things with some other games as well. Unfortunately the GM seems to have vanished too, so...
Here's hoping things pick up again at some point.

Welcome back, Florian. Sorry to hear about your troubles. My recommendation would be to post your character's action, that way we can get rolling again if GM Taliesin shows up again.

So I did send our GM another email today. I am at work atm so I can't check it, but we will see if he responds. If not it was fun playing with you all while it lasted.
Posting in all my games: my wife will be induced sometime tomorrow if she has not gone into labor by herself by then. Second kid, kinda know roughly what to expect, but I will probably be a bit silent for a few days after that starts. Bot me as needed.
