In terms of AP, I am really open to any AP at all, are there any that anybody has been dying to play? I know that I would love to GM or go through Iron Gods.

Also fill this out and we can figure out what AP is the most popular and pick that one. I took some out because people have either played or gm’ed certain ones.
Hi y'all, I am Justin's good friend from Seminary. I have been playing RotRL AP with him and few other friends and I am excited to join you guys. I am thinking about Bard/Skald or even Priest.
I think that the paladin was what was previously set up by Ricky, not sure what he’s thinking in regards to classes. We still don’t have the AP yet (which could always influence class selection and will almost certainly influence archetype selection) but the two front runners are Iron Gods and Jade Regent.
There’s still one person who hasn’t voted yet but if they also put in a vote for both Iron Gods and Jade Regent, are you guys cool with doing Iron Gods between those two (if they end up being tied, otherwise if Jade Regent gets more votes than Iron Gods we’ll do that one)?
I would download and start reading the Players Guide for Iron Gods on the paizo site, it’s free. I can add a link later once I’m at home, but you need to read the Players guide to whatever AP we are doing. Then let’s start talking about class selection and how to create an alias/character sheet here on paizo. Once the last person votes and we know for sure I’m going to be throwing up character creation rules/pbp rules on the Campaign Info tab right above. There’s some info there including two guides on how to play by post but I’ll be adding more stuff later tonight/as soon as the AP is picked!

So next steps, I’ll be populating the Campaign Informtaion tab with some rules but all the character creation stuff is already there. Download the Jade Regent Player Guide and make a character!
Please also read the two guides at the top, they’ll teach you what you need to know about play by post, including character creation. Create your Alias for your character and post it here when your done. I can answer any questions you have after reading the two hides under Campaign Information.

If I do Monk I’ll probably do the Sacred Mountain archetype, which is pretty much tank focused. Weren’t you the one thinking of going skald?

Ok for sure, so it seems like Garret is pretty dead set on Oracle, Ricky did you make a decision?
I think the question is, what Mystery is garret picking? That can really change the way an Oracle functions.
At the end of the day though, play whatever class looks interesting to you!

I didn't choose any archetype but if you have a suggestion, I am up for anything.

We do need someone to run the inventory sheet and someone else to oversee the caravan sheet once you guys get the caravan.
Doesn’t say you have to ask for my permission, but it does say you and I need to work on your backstory to explain why you are a Samurai.

Just finish those up, again I recommend checking out my character Alias here. Especially making sure to add skills and equipment.
Also something I noticed under most of your special abilities is that you summarize them, just post the full description copied directly from the class/race. You dont have the same space restrictions a physical character sheet has. Note that putting them as spoilers can help reduce space and clean up the Profile page.

But right under where you are typing there’s a “How to format your text” button that says show. Click on that and it teaches you how to format your text for a bunch of things including adding a spoiler

Yes we will be. Make sure when your posting in combat to “Preview” before posting, that way you can see if there is a crit and can then add another dice roll to confirm it.

Do yo know what year Jade Regent takes place in?
Because according to some rules i found, the year APs in Golarion are set in just follow whatever year the earth calender is in +2700, are we going by those rules?
Yes! But when they came out, not when you are playing them so Jade Regent starts in 4711, 4 years after the start of Rise of the Runelords.
Ok here's Butoka all finished up, his character sheet is all done, I just used the same gear roll as the one I got for the Heroes of Sandpoint recruitment page, but Justin if you want me to roll again I can.
Here's his backstory as well:
As Butoka grew older and more knowledgeable, he learned of the innate hedonistic and sick ways of the Oni, and through that found out that is where the hardships of his mother must have stemmed from. Learning of the sinful nature of his heritage, Butoka went through a season of shame, and desire for self-discovery, and ultimately (most likely a result of the “quest for Nirvana” like desires of most monks) self-perfection, he felt guilt, almost as if it was his fault that his mother faced such horrible trials in life. After almost 30 years of training under Osahara and the Order of the Stalwart fists, Butoka decided it was time to go out and experience the world on his own, he left the monastery and Osahara and took a year long pilgrimage across land and sea.
Close to the end of Butoka’s journey, now in the nation of Varisia, he stumbled across a caravan led by a man named Sandru Vhiski and his adoptive mother Koya Mvashti. Sandru and Koya were at first taken aback by the nature of Butoka’s physical appearance, but after experiencing his calm and kind demeanor, they welcome Butoka with a kind greeting, and even a ride on their caravan. Butoka was surprised by the kindness of these caravan owners, and even more so by the later offer from Sandru to stay with a caravan as a paid guard. Nowadays Butoka has been working with the caravan for about a year, but he still feels a yearning for self-assurement, and the desire to rid himself of the guilt of his heritage. Butoka now waits for another opportunity of travel and adventure to arise, in the hopes that through that, may also come some self-discovery.

@Butoka Just out of curiosity, what is the weight of your gear and what’s your carrying capacities?
My strength score is 16, so according to the carrying capacity table; Light load(no effects) is 76 pounds.
Medium load is 153.
Heavy load is 230.
I'm carrying 46 pounds.
Also, here's his Appearance/Personality:
Butoka’s personality is not that of which you’d expect upon seeing his terrifying appearance, Butoka is a calm, quiet, and humble spirit. Though he’s the type who tends to not speak unless spoken to, when he does it is with respect and an approachable kindness. Although Butoka has a kind and mannerable character, when someone with an unkind or evil spirit threatens him or those he cares for, he will show with the ways of the Stalwart Fists, that he is not one to be trifled with.

She is a young elf with silvery blonde hair with pale skin.
I would cast Galadriel from Lord of the Ring to describe her appearance.
She is gentle and calm, but full of adventurous spirit, eagerness to serve Erastil and the nature.
She also loves making new friends (although she is not really good at it) because she really never had friends except for people in the temple. (in result she could be a little awkward with people.)
@koreamerica i I dig it! A young Cate Blanchett. Looks good, can you just fill out the gear and possessions part with how much you can carry and your current load? And then under offense just add the actual weapons those are associated with. Check out butoka’s alias for an example.
