As he waits for Ela'in to answer, or for Butoka and Chakki to come over, Kidlat decides to answer the gnomes question with a query of his own.

"Animal...husbandry? I'm not married to my horse. I just take care of him. Would you happen to have any rope on you?"

Kidlat's present confusion is not only evidenced by his gross misunderstanding of the word "husbandry" but also by the sheer look of perplexion upon his face. Clearly, coming face-to-face with such a strange creature has now challenged his very understanding of how the world works. Not only is the tongue-twister of a name still confounding him, but he now finds himself deeply contemplating the need for a sociologist to study humans and what benefits it could possibly have, but also the meaning regarding Sabs' comments about his marital relationship with Kabayo.

And so, to potentially alleviate some of the mental strain brought on by this encounter, Kidlat continues to speak.

"If not, I suppose I could go and get Kabayo...I hope he's not too far off...and that he's alright."

Little does Kidlat know that "Anthropology", a useful field of study that can provide much benefit to all sorts of peoples in a wide variety of ways, would answer many of his questions. Alas, his vocabulary and subsequent vernacular are somewhat lacking.

A repeat of earlier questions as this new post created a new page in the campaign, making it easier to reference if I do it this way.Wasn't there a body in one of the rooms? Would Kidlat have seen that or did we gain any information from that at all?

A human body? There were some bones, but no you have not been in that room yet.

SamuraiNitta could you redescribe the room Kidlat and Sabs are in? I also don't remember if we got one for the room Butoka and Chakki are in or if that one was the room Sabs searched earlier.

The room that Kidlat, Sabs, and Ela’in are in is similar to that first watchtower room that you went in to after finding Sabs. It’s a simple room with a ladder leading up to the top and if go to the top you can look and see the rest of the layout of the village from that vantage point but sadly do not see any goblins running about. Let me know if you want to spend more time on top for a perception check

The room that Butoka and Chakki are in is another simple room, filled only with cots and empty broken chests. It appears to have a living quarter for roughly 5-8 goblins.

perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Unless we are pressed for time for some reason, also someone better at observing things should roll too... ahem.

"Hmm, I guess it's probably best if I just call Kabayo over and get my own rope then." Kidlat says as he raises his fingers to his lips so as to whistle when he realizes something. He drops his hands to his side as he moves towards the ladder and follows Sabs up to the top. From there, he looks out to see if he can notice any sneak attacks that might endanger his horse, or anything else of great note.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 (+skill)

The road and village seems empty when you look across from that vantage point, no traps appear to be set for you or your horse.

Kidlat raises his fingers to his mouth and let's out a loud, high-pitched whistle to summon Kabayo.

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 4 = 27 (+skill +circumstance)

Kabayo does not know the trick, "come".

If Kabayo does come, Kidlat will move to the bottom to meet his mount and retrieve the rope, and the Lance as that is being tied to the saddle using said rope. He will then like to try to tie up the unconscious goblin as best he can.
