I just thought of another question? What would be the time frame for getting someone new involved? Would we need to wait for them to be ready to continue playing? Or would they need to wait for us to progress to a point where it makes sense for their character to be introduced?
People get recruited relatively fast here on the paizo boards but it’ll take some time most likely for them to make a character. We will not pause campaign until they join we’ll find a way to have Ela’in leave the story and the new person join organically.
Yea I’m fine with whatever, like Hudson said the three of us mesh well together as it is, but adding someone willing to fill the role as a healer would be great too!

If it’s a stranger that’s freaking you out I’m enjoying the play by posts games I’m in and they’re pushing me to be a better role player.

The map is right under my name in the header. Obviously thats not where you are, I just threw it up so you could walk around and potentially climb in from another angle if you wanted to.
Also, I’ve said it a few times now that it’s difficult terrain Kidlat, so no charging anyway.
I was thinking Kabayo would use his high speed as a horse to catch up with us rather than literally “charging” in RAW

I was asking if it was straight so that I may use the charge mechanic, sorry about that ignorance of previous descriptions. I had assumed that with the slight change in location it would perhaps have changed the terrain to be more advantageous. I see now that such a postulation is indeed not the case.
Is the header the title of the campaign, or is it something else entirely? If the former, I see nothing there beneath your name. Is this in a separate tab?

Feel to read the gameplay if you want to in order to orient yourself to where we are storywise. Right now we’re thick in the middle of a goblin encampment in the Brinestump Marsh. I guess the question would be, what is Sab doing in Brinestump Marsh? Otherwise, depending on the trait you take for the player’s guide, could be that someone from Sandpoint sends you to Brinestump Marsh as backup.

Typically knowledge about humanoids, such as goblins, is the province of knowledge local. Knowledge skill
@Kidlat Yep Knowledge Local! I noticed you dont have any skills at all now, did you delete them from you character sheet? And it can run differently between games, there’s no hard and fast rule. I’d say stuff that doesn’t have an immediate impact on the gameplay should be reserved for discussion. That way the gameplay thread is clogged up with too many ooc posts.

It can get real weird sometimes with knowledge. For example doppelgangers are monstrous humanoids, which falls under nature. Why would a monster that is pretty much a societal parasite fall under that? Local or even Arcana seem more appropriate.
For old unique monsters I've been know to require a history check.
No, I still have skills. I only have the ones that I put ranks into listed though.

Hey guys, so sorry I haven’t been posting like AT ALL, I just got hired at a new job and the work/forms I need to fill for the orientation/pre-employment process has proven to be more than substantial, but I’ve settled down a BIT more and I hope to get back on that PBP grind!
Hey everyone. So sorry for not posting. I worked 70 hours last week and honestly my brain is mush. I'll try to get posts in when I can but I feel like it will be hard for me to get creative with role playing until things slow down with my schedule.

Another thing is that the notification applet I set up stopped notifying me when new posts came up. I think if I update that it will improve my engagement.
I'm worried that if someone bots Chakki that I'll just be taken out of it too much and that when I come back I won't have much context for what is going on.

Yes you'll stop getting notifications if you don't post in a thread for a certain period of time. I've had that trouble with the game I'm running. The way I handle it, as a GM, is if we're in combat and we're waiting on someone for 24 hours I'll send them a PM. Then if there is no response for another 24 hours I'll either bot them or have the character delay. If they delay for 2 rounds or more I'll typically allow them to do 2 actions at once.
It's up to SamuraiNitta ultimately, but that's how I typically handle things.
This is by no means a complaint. I don't mind a slower paced game, it lets me recharge my energy so I can play Sabs properly.

Chakki then sprays a multicolored psychedelic liquid over the head of Sabs, and into the 3 goblins in the room. Expending a point of her arcane reservoir to increase the DC of the spell. (DC 14+1) (Arcane Reservoir 2/4)
From where Chakki is positioned on the map she's color spraying right into a wall affecting no one. She could possibly move to the door but she would get only two goblins while avoiding Butoka. I would have gone burning hands if it was possible to get all three while missing Butoka. Not sure how Butoka feels about getting color sprayed but he's prolly got the best will save of us.
Edit: I drew the two configurations for 15ft cones on the map if you wanted to see how the area of effect should look and how you might want to cast the spell
If you dont mind a slower game Sab; I think since we’re mostly friends I dont mind the slower delay. Since I’m new to pbp gm’inG we’ll try it Sabs way. I think though for the sake of moving things along, if we are waiting for you in combat it might just be easiest to have me act for you or delay (obviously all depends on if your going to go be gone for long stretches of time)
Also, now of this is to make you feel bad Chakki, life happens and it always take priority before gaming lol.
