I know it is kind of late in this encounter, but since you will more than likely face off with these things again, I'll go ahead and post the knowledges now. Also, this is a trial run since I never separated templates from the overall.

It has no energy resistances. No special defenses to worry about. Normally the ant has the grab ability and poison, but these seem to lack both those abilities.The exoskeleton template strips away a lot as well. It actually reduces the CR of the base creature.

Geico quickly makes for the ant skeleton and decides to try and slam a pick through it.
He quickly calls upon the spirit of the Abadar to help punish the undead and imbibed with undead slaying goodness his pick shines!

Jeras finishes grabbing the cocoons that he can locate.
The agents head deeper into the ant hill and eventually leads to a larger chamber.
This chamber is clearly the heart of the anthill. The walls have a wavy, sculpted quality to them in contrast to the sandier, rougher tunnels, and several different entrances lead into the room. A high mound of earth rises in the room’s center; interestingly, it seems to be decorated with bits of stick, rock, and even some bones, as though it were a dais or throne.
As the agents enter the room, they hear hissing and gurgling coming from a giant ant exoskeleton on top of the mound.
If you speak Necril or Aklo the DC is 16. If you speak both, it is DC 12. If you ate one of the Bujune's dehydrated termite, you can understand it without making the linguistics check
