Nerrot gives a chuckle at Ivan's annoyance. "Iva', Yer so easy ta ril' up!" He tries to dodge the second wave of acid, grumbling "Damn blas' t'ings! I wan' ta NAT be sticky! Jeez!"

He gives a huff as he gets further covered in the sticky burning stuff and the glares an evil look at the second drake. "Bloody Bas'ard!"

He galnces back at Ivan as the man warns him to cover his ears, but teh slime slows down his movements too much that he can't reach his ears in time. He gives the artillerist a fake glare. "OI, WA'N A GUY BEFARE YE BLOW 'IS EA' OFF!" The small halfling then breaks into laughter at his own joke.

Standard to Evil Eye (Now with Added Jinx!) the Drake that Ivan is shooting at. DC 16 Will save to avoid a -2 penalty to AC and -1 to all saves for 7 rounds on a failure, and only the AC penalty for one round if it saves. Then a move to Cackle tm adding a round to the effect. Free action to tease the russian elf! :P

The drakes howl in chorus and continue their assault!

The first drake bites at Mort.

If that does the trick then he moves up the bank to the east, away from the group and its acid collecting habit, drawing a healing potion as he goes.

Mindy hacks right through the drake, driving it to the water where the blood spills from it's body. As he backs away, one of the drakes considers going after him, but Lorq blasts it in the face with a torrent of water.

Ivan steps out of the goo once again, this time drawing his cutlass and slashing at the green beast,

Wait I think Drake #2 still needs to make a will save. But now they both need to. Muahahaha!

Nerrot gives the final Drake a very sour look hoping he'll get the message and stop darting around so quickly. "Jast slow down damn it!"

Nerrot then tries to get out of the center of the acid spraying field.

Will Save (DC 16) for both drakes. Drake two risks - 2AC and - 1 to all saves for another 7 rounds (cackle last round), Drake 3 risks losing - 3 to Reflex and - 1 to all other saves for 7 as well.

The other drake tries to bite at Ivan again.

Nerrot tries to peer around the legs of Mort, curious as to what's happening in the fight. He then takes a second to realize who he's standing behind. Nerrot glares up at the large man. "OI, Ye big lug! W'at in 'ell's name 're ye doin' 'ere?" The small halfling then gives the man a swat on the backside, as he does so some of Mort's wounds close up.

Nerrot then gives a full volume laugh. "I tease, I tease. T'oug' ye reall' ought go and fight!"

Mort's eyes go a bit cross eyed as the Halfling man slaps his ass "I know we've been on that ship a long time, but Mindy and I prefer the ladies!" He drops his healing potion where he stands and readjusts his grip on Mindy.

He grins, the top row of his teeth peek out in a smile as he charges back into battle, greatsword swinging down in his favorite beheading arc... right into the muddy turf of the stream bank.

Soon enough, the team is able to suss out the grove of trees that the riverdrakes where barring the way to. Their nest sits beneath the base of a particularly impressive tree. In the muck, the team finds two masterwork hand axes, a masterwork composite longbow (+4 Str), and
a 100-pound carved wooden statue of a river drake. Apparently, someone had the bright idea to get up close to carve the likeness of the drakes. The blood stains indicate this was a poor decision, though it is impressive they completed the thing before they finished. Note: This is just flavorful treasure, not plot relevant.

Mort backs away from the last Drake as it expires, hand on his hip and covered in blood. "Ya... great, grand. And here I thought this new fancy armor would do better at keeping my ins in and my outs out. No such luck." He washes the blood from Mindy dries her off on his cloak and sheathes her.

"Hey Yvonne, you channel any healing from your patron maybe? Lots of acid burns and bite marks here." He heads over to retrieve his dropped healing potion for an emergency.

Once the blood stops flowing he helps carve up some choice cuts with Chef and track down the nest of these things. "Rock, paper, scissors to see who carries this overgrown statue?"

Ivan sheaths his cutlass and then calmly reloads his pistol and holsters it, then dusting him self off says, with a tone of finality "I am thinking you and zee Chef are zee best candidates for carrying zee statue, I vould be happy to lead zee vay back to town however."

After a few seconds of nearly breathless laughing, the halfling takes a deep breath and wipes the tears from his eyes. "But if ye reeaaalllyyy dan't lik't, I could prob'bly stap."

He tromps through the forest, looking about at the canopy, clearly quite interested. As the get to the nest, he looks over the things in the muck, "Use'ess... Dan't know 'ow to use t'at... P'etty but big-sized. Ohhhhh t'at's a nice car'in'! If neit'er o' ye wanna carry it, I celd p'epare Unseen Sarvant and 'e could drag it around!" After examining the thing for a moment, he pipes up again, "Ye t'ink we could use t'is as te mast 'ead car'in'? Te Blood sta'ns add character!"
