Nerrot trembles slightly as he hears Chef's roars even back in the square with the ambush.
I have a feeling chef is not someone you want to piss off

The men look at each other, and the biggest man looks at Chef. He seems a little hesitant, but he readies himself to fight the equally big man.
Either get in the ring and fight or shut up![/dice] With that, he directs a kick towards Mort.

Mort feels another solid blow land on him, and a kick to his stomach makes him want to throw up again, but he holds it back.
At this time, Ivan enters the bar and sees the ongoing mess!

Ivan finished his dive over the crowd, landing next to Yvonne. He quickly realizes what is going on when he sees the table full of drinks. Thank my elven constitution, I tink i am sober already. he thinks as he slams a drink.
fortitude: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Ivan darts up the stairs to the right, then jumps down into the pit in a flanking position with Mort. He draws his pistol on the way down, then deftly flips it so he is holding the barrel and whips it at the goons head.
flanking pistol whip: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 2 = 121d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
doesnt look like it will hit but if it does i get a a free CMB check to knock him prone
CMB to knock prone: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Pistol-Whip (Ex): At 3rd level, the gunslinger can make a surprise melee attack with the butt or handle of her firearm as a standard action. When she does, she is considered to be proficient with the firearm as a melee weapon and gains a bonus on the attack and damage rolls equal to the enhancement bonus of the firearm. The damage dealt by the pistol-whip is of the bludgeoning type, and is determined by the size of the firearm. One-handed firearms deal 1d6 points of damage (1d4 if wielded by Small creatures) and two-handed firearms deal 1d10 points of damage (1d8 if wielded by Small creatures). Regardless of the gunslinger’s size, the critical multiplier of this attack is 20/×2. If the attack hits, the gunslinger can make a combat maneuver check to knock the target prone as a free action. Performing this deed costs 1 grit point.
Mort Gloomhallow
Ooooff! Grunts Mort as he takes another shot to the bread basket. "Yer gunna pay fer that one fella!" Mort nods as he sees Ivan set him up for an easy shot. He watches his target for a few moments before swinging Mindy's flat side towards the man's face.
MW Sawback Greatsword, flank, study, power attack, nonlethal: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 - 4 = 222d6 + 6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 + 6 + 1 = 18
Intimidate: Be Afraid. Be very Afraid!: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20
If he drops then killing flourish feat kicks in, see below.
Studied Target (Ex): A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack rolls and weapon damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can maintain these bonuses against only one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
Killing Flourish (Combat): You inspire dread in other foes when you slay an enemy.
Prerequisites: Intimidating Prowess, Intimidate 4 ranks, slayer level 4th.
Benefit: When you reduce your target to fewer than 0 hit points with a melee attack, as a swift action you can attempt an Intimidate check to demoralize all foes within 30 feet who can see your attack.

Ivan leaps from the edge, swinging his pistol. While he misses, he sets up mort and Yvonne perfectly as the two act in concert, knocking the man to the ground. The man holds up his hands!
I yield! This ain't worth it!
COWARD! the bigger man yells back as he tries to hit mort again.
Chef slams his shoulder into the other man, but used to fighting in the ring the man catches his shoulders and holds his ground, throwing his own punch at him!
Punch! v mort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Punch! v chef: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Mort takes another blow to the jaw, but Chef shrugs off the punch to his shoulder, not even feeling it as the man is to off center to properly leverage.

Mort waits on the flank before swinging Mindy's flat side at the man's head.

I'll say you can take the -4 penalty for a nonlethal attack specifically because it's a water blast and we're playing in campaign mode, but just so you know by RAW kineticists can't do non-lethal with blasts
Ivan the Artillerist
IIRC, water kiniticists have a wild talent that acts as hydraulic push though
when his miss helps Mort connect with his blow and the brawler falls down, "Zat is zee vay Mort! Now, let us finish zis fight!"
Ivan steps doubles back around and steps into a flank the biggest one with Mort, "Lets try zis again yes?" he chuckles as he swings the butt of his pistol at the large one this time.

Ivan flicks his pistol through the air, HARD, at the back of the big man's head. He groans in pain as he stumbles to his knees.... right into the pummel of Mort's blade. Yvonne steps over and thwacks him over the head as well for a bit of extra push.
Chef meanwhile, is filled with cold fury, and slams the butt of his axe into his stomach. Lorqinor fires his splash of water into the man's face, shoving him back a step.

Unfortunately I don't think the pistol whip deed allows for threatening and im not holding a weapon in the other hand.
If he is still standing after the other AoO's,

PATHFINDERS WIN! VICTORY!
Upstairs, A half-orc woman whistles as chef and Mort lay out the big man.
Impressive. Captain will like you lot.
Soon enough, Captain Lanteri saunters in and looks around at the big man lying on the ground.
What the 9 hells happened here? Who's this guy?
With that, the half-orc woman leans over the rail and shouts down.
Bugger claimed he was your "Last test" Captain! Got his ass handed to him though!
The captain glares at the men who are lying down and pulls her pistol pointing at them.
Your no crew of mine... and you can either pay your betters for their trouble and for your use of my name, or you can find out just how badly I take my name being stolen.
The two men turn pale and turn out their pockets, passing over some gold and potions. Will add later to loot.
As their items are collected, the Captain turns to the team.
Alright ya landlubbers. I'm Captain Lanteri, and your the winners of my race! You'll each get a officer's share of the loot for signin', and the drinks tonight are on me.
She walks upstairs, leading everyone up to the table the woman was sitting at.
Yamtisy, get us some booze.
The half-orc woman, Yamtsiy apparently, rolls her eyes and goes downstairs to fetch drinks. Meanwhile, the Captain lounges in her seat and kicks her boots up onto the table.
Well then... I assume ye have questions. Go ahead, ask 'em, and I'll tell ya what I can.
Mort Gloomhallow
Mort staggers a bit as the big man crashes to the ground, flashing a drunken grimace that looks pretty unnerving "Ya made the right call there. Now do as the Lady says and hand over yer coin."
Mort sheathes Mindy back over his shoulder and leans heavily up against the wall. His eyes half swollen shut and blood still running down out of his mouth and nose. He grabs the back of his head and winces "What the hell took you guys so long. They were beatin' the livin' s~@% outta me with those saps!" He bends down and picks one up, stuffing it into his belt.
At the mention of more booze he cringes "Oye, normally I'd be all for that, but hell, today we've already half drank ourselves to death and ... well maybe one to calm the stomach. And some damn solid food to go with it!" For now Mort avoids the talk of what's coming and just tries to sober up, fill his belly, and rest his weary head.
Mort is not too far from a NL KO.
Mort Gloomhallow
After a long and uncomfortable silence, broken only by the sound of Mort chewing loudly and groaning at his seriously developing headache, Mort asks the first questions of the Pirate Captain. "So umm.. where we headed? What are we looking for? And just how rich are you gonna make us?" He says as he looks her straight in the eye, judging her words.

The captain sips at her Ale and smiles.
Sorry, not telling ya exactly until we're out to sea. Also, I know more of the "How" than the "Where" at the moment. Even if i did know exactly where, I wouldn't tell you here.
She waves at the tavern.
As for "What", we're looking for Redclaw's treasure. She was an invincible pirate captain who collected a massive fortune. Then one day... she just disappeared. Rumors claimed that she had sailed into the Eye of
Abendego to prove she could, or that she had challenged the Hurricane King and fallen before his blade. Between you and me?
She sips her drink.
I think it was something simpler than that. Long as she supposedly had been at it, i think old age or sickness got her and she didn't want anyone to take what she had horded as she grew old. That's my theory anyways.
She sips the ale and smiled.
As for how rich? My husband got the way to get it by killing a dragon who couldn't move the whole hoard by himself and had left it behind to figure out how to move it, if that gives you an idea.
Mort can tell she's probably holding some cards to herself, but nothing sinister that he can detect.
Mort Gloomhallow
Sounds like I may need one of those.. 'bags of holding' if this broad isn't full of s**#.
"Sounds like you've convinced me. I'm Mort, and this" He pulls out his sawback greatsword "Is Mindy." He smiles, planting a kiss on the flat of her blade "We're in."
He sheaths this Lady and gives Chef a strange look "Just keep the veggies to a minimum and the meat to a maximum." He grins.
Ivan the Artillerist
"And do not forget zis day!" Ivan heckled as the men handed over their gold and valuables.
responding to Mort, "You are knowing how it is, I vas caught vith my pantz down early in the race. I made it here to help still I tink, no? Haha vith a little more ale and a rest, you will be feeling right as the rain my friend." he says while slapping Mort on the back and grabbing a tall tankard of ale for himself. did zat fight really sober me up zat much? he thinks as Captain Lanteri makes her pitch.
"Vell I vouldn't expect you to share any more zan zat anyvays, he says continuing to nurse the tankard, "It certainly sounds like a better way to nurse a festival hangover zan anozer Pathfinder mission, eh my friends?"
"As long as you do not poison me I am not one to be being picky."
Nerrot Ergaval
Sopping wet, welts from being trampled on slowly rising to the sruface and bleeding from a few wounds from the ambush, Nerro storms into the room in a right foul mood. "Cayden's Puke! T'at was TERRIBLE!" He stomps over to the table with the drinks and chugs one in one go...
Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
before calming down slightly ad taking in what's going on in the room. "Ih see my cumpaniuns got 'ere first, eh? I knaw I'm late, but I swear I knaw my way about a boat better t'an anyune of 'em." he digs out a rope and then even a full case of maps of the oceans.
Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
In fives seconds flat he has a near perfect monkey's paw knot in the rope. "See? T'ese few'd be cumplete'y lost wit' out me! And I can cast spells, too! So what d'ya say? I okay to sign on?"
GM_Starson
The Captain chuckles at Chef.
I already have a chef, so you'll have to fight it out with him. He's a old salt, so best of luck with that.
With a flurish, she pulls out the parchment contract and sets it on the table for everyone to read. It's fairly straight forward. It states that the team are being hired as “boarders and repellers” on the Magpie Princess for the duration of the recovery of Captain Redclaw’s treasure. They will receive quarters, grub, and grog in compensation, along with a 1/16th share of all booty.
Sign here, and your part of my crew until this is all said and done. We'll sail the sea and find redclaw's treasure, and fame and fortune will be yours. Whata say?
Mort Gloomhallow
Mort nods in agreement, throwing a dirty look towards Ivan as he spouts off about being a Pathfinder "Fame and fortune gets me every time. Count us at your service." He glances to Mindy and makes their mark: Mort n Mindy Gloomhallow
Once the formalities are complete and his belly full of snacks, Mort kicks his feet up a bit and smiles "We heading straight away or we got time for some wenchin' before we go?" Another voyage without wenching sounds horrid...
GM_Starson
The captain grins at mort.
I got your rooms covered. Enjoy the night. We start working on repairing the ship tomorrow, and set sail as soon as possible.
Mort Gloomhallow
"Repairing the shippp? What the hell happened to it?" Mort asks in a slightly slurred tone, not having any real training of running a vessel of that size. Better not have us playin' carpenter for a month with no pay!
Ivan the Artillerist
Ivan lines up to make his mark but hesitates at the mention or repairing the ship, "Um excuse me Captain, but are you meaning zat zee ship is broken?" he says, waiting to sign until he hears what exactly is going on.
