Wayland Egorius |

"I agree, Morgrym.
They may be in a bit of disarray an' we can press our advantage.
But with Nualia there it won't last long."

DM-Salsa |

Okay, sounds like we're moving on to the main event. Stealth and Perception rolls please.

All is eerily quiet as you make your way through the Nettlewood. The fight with Ripnugget has netted some valuable potions as well as some goods that should fill your coffers once you've had a chance to sell them in Sandpoint. For the moment, though, your focus is on what's ahead. As you approach another clearing, this one made by a fallen giant of the forest, an uneasy feeling of being watched falls over you. Looking around, you can find nothing overtly wrong, but you proceed cautiously onward nonetheless. This is goblin territory, you hear Shalelu warn. It is best to be wary.
You enter the clearing and hear a yelp from behind. Shalelu's feet are caught in a snare that whips her up into the air after pulling her ankles together. The leaf litter flies into a flurry as things move quickly underneath.
Everyone give me a DC 20 reflex save to avoid the traps now springing.

Calin Moonbreeze |

I cant help but to giggle a little at the great elven ranger Shalelu, sexy elf to all half elfs indeed warning them to be wary of traps.... then stepping into one.
reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
He spun about at the sound of Shalelu's yelp and even as his mind said freeze dont move he took several steps torwards the ranger to help her out of her predicament.

DM-Salsa |

What can I say? I rolled low for her save and, well, I think you’ll be finding out the rest soon enough. ;)
Calin feels a tug on his leg before he too goes up in the air.

Morgrym Stonestepper |

Reflex, what is that :)
reflex: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11
What in Torags name is thi.. . . .
As he is also flipped up and into the air
I am assuming that I end up in the air

DM-Salsa |

Trig dives out of the way just as she feels the crude rope trying to slip over her feet and snare her. Morgrym and Wayland are not so lucky and are also yanked off their feet and into the air. Wayland does manage to keep a foot out of the snare, but that only puts more pressure on the ankle that is caught.
I believe we're just missing Lazur.

Trig Fanabarellalisa |

Trig watches everyone go up in the trap and panics slightly upon realizing she's the only one on the ground. Her eyes darted around in an attempt to find the hidden threat that set this trap.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
"Are you guys okay?" Trig asked, her voice slightly higher in pitch than usual.

Morgrym Stonestepper |

I am fine, just find some way to cut us down.
Morgrym hangs there for a moment as his arrows all slide out of the quiver along with his trusty axe, ending up scattered in a circle around him as he swings back and forth.
He then draws his dagger, and tries to pull himself up to cut the rope around his ankle.

DM-Camris |

OK, I've cobbled together a forest clearing map in Roll20 with tokens bearing your images.
If you'll type in the chat box with your username and character name, I can hook them to you so you can move your token around yourself.
Click below
CLEARING MAP
The +1 means you're ten feet off the ground.

Morgrym Stonestepper |

@ DM-Camris, We appreciate you coming in like this. :). Question I have, is can you provide a DC for us trying to cut ourselves free ?

DM-Camris |

Picking up right after the trap is sprung...
Goblin war drums begin thumping, and you can hear goblin war chanters start their rhyming chants. Springing out of the underbrush come three of the mangy, diseased, mostly hairless creatures most people call 'Goblin Dogs'. They stop and give their creepy warbling yips as their eyes fall on the only hero still on her feet; Trig. They start advancing on her as you can hear more rustling in the undergrowth...
Round 1
Players take their turn in order of posting, enemies will go last.
Those of you still held in the spring traps can get out in a number of ways.
*You can slip out with an Escape Artist roll DC15.
*You can bend up (ST check DC14) and cut the rope with a slashing weapon, AC10, HP 2.
*You can throw a slashing weapon, AC10, 2hp.
*You can spend 2-3 rounds swinging over to a tree, climb DC15 and just unwrap it.
