Backstory:

Unlike many of his people, Deepshadow grew up in the realm of the Upholder of shadow, having been taken by followers of the upholder at birth, as it was foretold that he would have a strong connection with the element of shadow.

Until his majority, Deepshadow had a name; however, like all servants of the Upholder of shadow, Deepshadow's first sacrifice to show his fealty was to give his name to the Upholder, showing that he only existed to serve the Upholder and his realm.

Deepshadow was selected to be a representative of his realm, along with a select group of agents of the Upholder, and sent into the mortal realm to act as an agent of the Upholder's will, working to preserve the balance and promote the will of the Upholder.

So Deepshadow has come to this place he has never known and seeks to bring glory to the Upholder while protecting those who can't protect themselves.

This is zefig, I've finished my submission for Wydell, Altruan vagabond Warpriest of Lunathre.

Regarding Wydell:

3 days pre-Scouring
The old man scratches his chin for a moment before answering the question. "Wydell. Sure, I seen 'im. Little fella, an Altruan yeah? Had a wide-brimmed hat and that carved-up walking stick. Yeah, he came through 'ere, bout a week past. 'E was only here three days but I expect the whole town could say something about 'im. Fixed up me fence wot's been broken for the past decade, but filched two bags of me cherries walkin' away from it, he did." The old man's face screws up in annoyance for a moment, then softens. "'E helped out half the town too, but took wot rewards 'e pleased. Killed the wolf wot's been eating Gregor's chickens with a rock from that stick of his. Blessed by Ethalder that shot was. Shot like that, we asked 'im why he 'adn't marched off with all the soldiers. The lad just smiled and said that weren't 'is calling, and he was buying drinks so we didn't press. That why yer here asking after 'im, is it?" The old man casts a measuring glance and takes a long drink from his mug before deciding he's not likely to receive an answer. "Well, eventually he got run out of town. Duggard drove 'is cart into a ditch and it took 'is horse with it, and that Wydell lad fixed up the both of 'em, good as new. Duggard offered the lad his barn for the night. He went to check on the cows come midnight and nearly killed the lad when he found 'is eldest girl coming back from the barn. All told though, I expect he did more good than harm here, despite what Duggard'll tell ye. Either way, I've a hard time swallowing that he done something as bad as you say he 'as, Inquisitor." The man finishes his drink and leaves the table to rejoin his friends.

Sooooooooooo, I'm bad at holding exciting news in. That means I'm going to be bumping the party announcement to Wednesday the 15th around 10 PM - that's tomorrow night!!! I don't know if you guys are getting the same hype I am, but I've been hard at work staring at my computer screen until plot ideas come to me, and each one just makes me want to play more. You all gave me a lot to think about over the past week and a half, and I've been pretty jazzed about all your character concepts so far. I really appreciate your hard work and willingness to indulge my eccentricities.
