I was looking at adventure paths and gained an interest in Giantslayer.

You might be waiting around a while for a gm for it but you might get lucky. I'd play if a GM proves my doubtful nature unnecessary.

I'm interested too... with the additional incentive that I would be willing to purchase the first PDF for any GM willing to run it (and all of the other five if the game gets to the point where it seems like it will last). Contact me by PM if interested in that incentive. :)

also interested...... no clue how to gm(don't know the rules well enough and won't budge yet), but if it gets to a running game pm me and i will be glad to submit a character in the mix.

I'm be willing to DM, I've got the giant slayer 91-96 adventure books path, if people are willing to play it using 5th edition rules, I'm willing to help you convert your character to 5e if you don't have the players handbook. Pathfinder is way to complex for me after playing 5th edition and even Starfinder, which is mildly less complex than pathfinder. Currently I'm doing Iron Gods books 1 PFS and it is probably the last pathfinder game I'll ever play or DM.

I'm totally willing to try, but I've only played 5E once, and Pathfinder for many years, so you might have to be patient with me trying to adjust.

I would love to play, but I would be nervous about GMing, since I have never GMed for PbP. I have played a lot of Pathfinder and a little 5e.

I have the 5e players guide but have never played. I'm willing to give it a go but will be far less proficient.

Just waiting on TobbyB2020 to see if he is okay with 5th edition.

If the 5e idea fizzles, I would consider taking this on using Pathfinder rules. I have run the first book in my RL group and own the entire AP, so don't need the offered incentive. I was considering offering a table of this AP anyway once PFS Gameday ended, but can move that timetable up if there is sufficient demand.

I'd prefer to take a group of 4, but could expand to include up to 6 players if needed. Including the OP, there are already 7-8 who have expressed interest, so will need to pare that down somewhat if it becomes a thing.

We have enough people here for two tables? I wouldn't want less than 4 people at mine, even though a legal size if this were PFS/adventures league is really three.

Might have left the OP off that list along with one other (Tulay Miller). Not sure I will take any more bodies, so any new posters will just have to stand as alternates at this point.

I will take 5 that can't (or won't) play 5e and set up another thread. DG can take the others. I will say, I am a bit of a stickler for standard races and no 3PP material if that influences any decisions.

My preference is for Pathfinder but not a dealbreaker but sometimes I have to post on my phone and have a pretty good handle on Pathfinder. Fifth edition would be more challenging to do without the book infornt of me but I've been meaning to learn it so no major problem just preference.

I generally stick to standard races and avoid third party even when available. I bet Ultimate Survival will have some cool suitable character options. Not too far off now.

Here's a suggested split...

Pathfinder:
Meloriel (won't play 5e)
Tulay (won't play 5e)
Bohdan (won't play 5e)
Dreaming Warforged (because seems to be going for DM rather than game)
Kevin O'Rourke (preference)

5e:
Daniel Stewart
Hedwick
Titanius
ToddyB2020

I think that fills both DM's preferences.

I'll be the alt, in case someone on the lists doesn't want to play. I'm in a lot of other games, and don't want to steal a spot from anyone.

The Pathinder Rules thread is now active here. Feel free to stop by and dot if you are interested in being part of the game. Using the split suggested above, we should end up with 5 players, but if some no-show, we may have open spots. I'd prefer to avoid a general recruitment if possible.

Character building rules will be posted in that Discussion tab later tonight.

3 of the 5 listed above have checked in on new Pathfinder AP thread. I will give Tulay and Bohdan until midnight Friday US Central time to check in. Then will move to alternate or open recruitment.
