Pink, dark blue and bit of orange make up the evening sky. Below it tall building begin to light up as large screens advertise this product or that. Cars, trucks and motorcycles rip and roar. As people walk in multiple directions to get to wherever it is they need to get to. A metropolis that comes in at around 500 miles with a population of 8,000,000 surrounds you, this is Corbin City. One of most well known cities in the world. All of you are now just waiting for the morrow when you will begin taking classes at Corbin University, Some of you may feel excited, some of you may feel anxious. But all of you feel as though something big is going to take place. And like it or not, you will be involved in some way. Some of you may care heavily about the murders and some of you may be more focused on your studies. Some of you will be staying in the dorms some of you have residency in the city. But I am curious how you will spend the last night before the new school year. Will you go to a club? Crash a party? Explore some of the ruins on the outskirts of the city? Or will you just watch the stars with that special someone? Whatever it is I hope you do something significant. For who knows what tomorrow may bring...

Lucas looked up at the wall in his Dorm room. It was barren at the moment. Most of his things were still packed away in the small pile of boxes he had at the foot of his bed. His roommates side of the room was unpacked already.
He had been deciding whether or not he had wanted to go to the party introducing all of the freshman and just generally celebrating the start of the new semester.
Eliza, would have been starting High school this year... he sighed.
His family had been hit hard with the loss of his younger sister. His Father had recently stopped coming into work. He'd had to fill in for him at the store a couple of times now. Not only that but his youngest sister Mei, had started to act out in school. Failing to do homework and getting into fights. More than once she'd also been brought home for getting caught shoplifting.
His mother had seemed to be keeping things together, but Lucas had suspected that was only because of her intense degree of discipline. His younger brother was only just starting to be at the age of really understanding what had happened.
He took a deep breath and shook his head. Feeling sorry for himself wasn't going to do any good. He grabbed his jacket off his bed and went to the door. He needed to find out more about what was going on. Maybe he'd overhear something at the party.
As Lucas headed out the door mind else where he his body collide with something hard. He was knocked back a few inches fell to on his butt. He then looked to up see a large lidded wood box in front of him and carrying that box was his roommate Gary Moats. "Oh shoot man I'm sorry. I was about to call out to you to get the door. You ok? Gary was a tall, slender, fair skinned young man with light brown hair and a charming smile he also was quite popular with the lady folk. Gary then quickly put the box down and extended a hand to Lucas with an apologetic smile.
