About Lucas Whitfield

Back story:

Lucas was born into a mixed heritage lower-middle class family. His mother was Japanese and ran a martial arts dojo. His father was British and worked as a manager at a convenience store. He also had two younger sisters, the older sister was Mia who just starting high school, the younger was Saya who was entering Middle school. He also had a younger brother, Toma, who was entering Kindergarten.

Lucas was always interested in becoming stronger to protect himself and his younger siblings so he spent a lot of time at the Dojo training while growing up, while also helping his mother run and maintain it.

His family was never well off and things have started to go poorly for his father at work, and he's gotten depressed about his job. Meanwhile things at the Dojo have not been faring well either as fewer students have been signing up in the coming years or have been going to more popular Dojos. As the eldest child, Lucas was expected to help out with the family, so he got a job working with his father. Partly in order to help make ends meat, and partly to make sure his father continued to get to work on time.

A few weeks ago, his sister Mia ran away from home after a fight she had with their mother. His mother has been sullen since then, blaming herself for Mia's disappearance. His younger sister Saya has started to act out, getting into trouble at school and has been caught shoplifting several times now. His younger brother Toma has only just begun to understand what really happened with his family and has been sad lately.

Description:

Lucas is a tall and rather imposing looking person for his age. Standing at 6'2, he has a solid build and is fairly strong. His skin is a healthy sun tanned color that also shows off his mixed heritage. He tends to wear casual clothing punctuated by a dark leather jacket. He has dark brown eyes, and dark hair that he usually has done up in a pompadour style that makes him stand out in a crowd. He generally tries to come off charming but is often mistaken for being more intimidating due to his "thuggish" demeanor.

Personal schedule:

Your right about the school days, in this city at least(Fair bit of Japanese influence) Your personal schedule is Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm. This is to keep things simple. You work at Sunder's 24/7 convenience store. Mon, Wed and Fri from 5pm-9pm. Sat 2pm-6pm. You help at the Dojo Tue and Thurs 5pm-7pm. You are free Sun.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: An unbreakable is not proficient with tower shields.

Tough as Nails: An unbreakable gains Endurance and Die Hard as bonus feats. This ability replaces the fighter's 1st-level bonus feat.

Unflinching (Ex): At 2nd level, an unbreakable gains a +1 bonus on Will saves against mind-affecting effects. This bonus increases by +1 for every four levels after 2nd level (to a maximum of +5 at 18th level). This ability replaces bravery.

Armor Training: (1) Starting at 3rd level, a fighter learns to be more maneuverable while wearing armor. Whenever he is wearing armor, he reduces the armor check penalty by 1 (to a minimum of 0) and increases the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed by his armor by 1. Every four levels thereafter (7th, 11th, and 15th), these bonuses increase by +1 each time, to a maximum –4 reduction of the armor check penalty and a +4 increase of the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed.
