Thanks! I'm now in another hospital with an even better neonatal facility.... We might be having our tiny little baby much sooner than expected! (I'm 32 weeks along, but just discovered to be preeclamptic.) Prayers and positive thoughts appreciated. :)

The stars are aligned, and shockwaves from a momentous event wake the sleeper. It is the return of Eye-thulhu!
Brief explanation. New semester started and I found out that it would be possible to graduate a semester earlier than anticipated. This would be possible by dropping all fun classes and packing the next two semesters with courses of doom. I chose doom. It felt very Kirk-like. "I don't think you can take it." "I can take it!"
Plus side is I get to graduate in time for the summer market, which is good, and have a couple of promising offers for jobs/labs. This all seemed like such a good excuse, only to find out that other people are posting while having children.
Athene, golden princess is good. I just wish the rest of the series was out.

Huzzah for the GM! Also... With spotty wifi, little sleep, and only I devices to write with, we are not actually posting much right now. But! We are excited that this game might move forward now, and are finally having time to ourselves to think! So woo hoo who who! Wha-?! AutoCorreeeeeect! *shakes fist* Ahem: "woohoo!" EDIT: oh! And congratulations! Yes, you have a great excuse! Doom class happens! :D

Glad to have you back. Any of the new books you'd recommend?
The new Peter Hamilton book was good and large but I like most of his books.
The other one was Dreadnought which is a classic history of British/German naval rivalry in the run up to the 1st world war which I have been meaning to read for years.

Limited internet access, sick, and a newborn (who is still in the hospital dealing with preemy things) combined with upcoming and impending tremendous amounts of family visitors over a large period of time means that, in all probability, I'm out for another month. I'm sorry it took so long to post this up, but, our days are mostly spent:
1) wake up
2) guzzle something approximating breakfast
3) travel to hospital to engage in endless cycles of:
- 3a) feeding our son
- 3b) wife pumping milk for the future (while I meet with someone or wait with poor wifi reception)
- 3c) seeing someone about something
- 3d) repeat
- OPTIONAL: occasional breaks for eating (some days)
4) come back to the RMDH!
5) eat free food!
6) sleep
This, naturally, is not conducive to gaming online.
To be clear, while tiring, it's not a bad state that we're in; things are generally okay. The two "bad" things are: our newborn is battling anemea (lack of red blood cells produced by bone marrow, not lack of iron), and I'm rather sick (which is why I'm at the RMDH and have time to update this, leaving my wife alone at the hospital today); oh! and a mistake with Verizon meant my iPad lost its Roaming Wifi capabiilty for... I dunno, until they stop falsely claiming I owe them $125, but that's mostly just waiting for us to talk to an actual person in-person instead of people on the phone. Seriously, and truly, though, those are the only things that are bad. Everything else is going as well as it can.
I am sorry about the lack of updates/information!
Anyway, with all this in mind, if no one minds, I'm going to beg out until December - probably sometime after the first. December itself will be a bit tricky, but by then, Lord willing, things'll have settled down enough, we'll be home, and we'll have internet access.
Apologies again for the lack of communication and time!
~ Tac
EDIT: I forgot to mention, though I intended to: please feel free to 'bot Mina and I for a few posts, if that's what's needed to keep interest in the game going. Sorry about the lack of access and time!

We are home for Thanksgiving!
... lacking sleep (feeding a literal "cry-baby" every two-hours, more or less ;P), but home!
Family coming over tomorrow, and my oldest boy will finally be back with his mommy and daddy and with his little brother all the time! WOOOOO~!
... I'm still hecka on hiatus right now. Sorry. (Only marginally, though, 'cause we're home!)
:D

While we're not "back" yet, I wanted to make sure to wish everyone an early Merry Christmas (and/or whichever other thing you celebrate)... and to let you all know that I've neither forgotten nor given up!
Though we've still lots of doctor visits, with a sick three-year-old (the big brother), and several cross-state trips, we're doing well over-all, and God is good.
Later this month, Lord willing, we'll be back!
(Though it miiiiiiight be early January.)
Thanks!
Peace and God bless you!

I would also be interested in continuing
Seperatly I am in the planning stages for running a similar game on RPOL. It would be set in the world of the emberverse books and take place at the time of the change , although if I can manage it I will try and move the game forward through time at various points so that the world can develop around the characters. At this stage I have not picked a precise location although I am tending towards North America somewhere in the Northern rockies, I also have not yet decided if I will have fantasy world characters brought through to the world, certainly I intend at least some of the pc's to be people from the normal pre change world. System will probably be BRP/Runequest as I think it captures the feel of the world better than Pathfinder.
If anyone from this game is interested PM me
Won't be starting until at least mid july based on when I will have time to sort out the details
