When using a melee touch attack, do you also add your strength (for me dexterity) to your damage? Fists are natural weapons, and normally you'd add strength to your damage roll with melee weapons.
Not like it matters if you miss <.<

Kwin Longclaw |

I can't believe you're actually going for a jailbreak. :o)
(And Kol, I swear I visualized you grabbing Kwin by the scruff of the neck and dragging him off...)

Kyras LeBlanc |

Just to fluff-information on Kyras' speech;
I wanted him to have a cajun english accent common to Louisiana.
So english with french pronuncial touches. It's difficult to find alot of info on it, so if by chance somebody sees flaws do note. It'd be neat if Kyras' speech is properly done ;)

Kwin Longclaw |

Aw, sorry to hear it, Nimos!
But you have to do what works for you... here's wishing you all the best.

Aww :( Take care!

Kyras LeBlanc |

It'd likely be humorous having conversations in sylvan, a city elf among the kitsuni.
I worked summer jobs in italy, picking up the basics. I then spoke to italian guests and their faces would spell: "What? This guy speaks our language?" So much for discretely joking about the staff.
The only one among my colleagues. :0 A good laugh.

Arabic is commonly used for Sylvan in Pathfinder? I used Greek before, 'cause I know the alphabet. I'll use Arabic from now on so we're all on the same page! :)

Kwin Longclaw |

I didn't know there was a standard for such things. I use Telugu for incantations/verbal components, but that's only because it has nicely "flowing" characters that are obscure enough to not immediately bring a specific language to mind. I hope I'm not running afoul of the Magic Union. :o)

Kyras LeBlanc |

Nah, but i found when using the translator in Word it, aside from asian, had no alphabetical letters. Asian would just be out of place on 1st sight more than arabic.
It could be dialect, in another game i have a halfling who speaks elven but does so with an accent, it being city-elven instead of non-city-elven.
But if the kitsuni want something else than arabic as your native sylvan, sure, let me know. This elf learned it merely by studying, talking would have been less frequent than kitsuni would. ;)
Also, i couldn't find telugu in word lettertype. Where'd you get it.

Kwin Longclaw |

Ah. I don't use Word for that, I just hit Google Translate.

Neither did I, but it made me wonder.
I like the idea of using Arabic just as much as Greek :) Greek just gave me a general idea of how to pronounce the words when seeing the characters.
I used Google Translate as well. Also tried translating to Arabic on it, and it's quite fun to try pronounce the words xD
(Though I'm certain I'm doing it wrong, haha.)

Kyras LeBlanc |

Neat. I'll keep it in mind if i ever would need something like that.
An oracle of mine is an asylum escapee, unfortunately for her it doesn't help her source of power happens to be the Outer Gods. Fluffwise i'd let her tapestry spells be cast in "the lost tongue". But it seems on forums those "things" use Aklo.
Here's the link to her outer god "patron", if you will call it.

Can't remember ever hearing of Telugu. Looked it up, and it looks really pretty :O
Kyras, I wonder what'd happen if your asylum escapee oracle and Miyako meet up :P

Kyras LeBlanc |

Well, she's haunted by a dead fellow asylum patient. She was sane until she ended up in that place to begin with. The village sent her away as a kid, voices in the head..rediculous. So she spent many years in the asylum. But she'll go more insane the higher her lvl and connection to that deity.
As it is the most you'd notice is she has a big speechproblem and occasional paranoia.

@Kyras: I know, it's Sylvan after all :P I imagine it sounds a bit like singing. The mystical singing of trees and fairies.

![]() |

You mean Julie Fowlis? Just listened to the song, and it sounds very beautiful :)

Kwin Longclaw |

You two got my curiosity up so I stopped by as well. Beautiful indeed, and I loved one of the comments:
Funny how they sing in words that we don't understand but sing in music that our hearts know all too well.

@GM: Any news from Harry?
(I don't mean to push, but I'd love the story to continue.)

K-01 'Kol' |

Technically... Technically, we never laid a single hand on the dwarf in our confrontation with him, so I think we're safe from the guy.
At worst I could be slapped with destruction of property, but then I could probably get away with 'self-defense'. Of course, this all hinges on them actually recognizing us as part of the guilty party.

Kwin Longclaw |

Yeah, I don't expect to be recognized. None of these guys have ever seen us. Unless the kid shows up as we're checking out, we should be fine. Kwin just doesn't want to do anything to rock the boat, so as not to jinx things.

@GM: How much time has passed since we woke up in jail? I'd like to know if I've recovered some more Str by now, or if I'm still feeling like I could collapse every second :)

Captain Riley |

Ehhhh Alright, So turns out school/work is taking up a lot of my time, and I can't seem to find the time to commit to this campaign. For now I'm going to put it on hold, Sorry guys both old and new. If you'd like once I have time again and/or get a better hold on my schedule. We can boot this back up but right now I just don't have time.
Again sorry :/

Kwin Longclaw |

While I hate to hear this, real life has to take priority.
And Kwin's a custom class, where's he gonna go? Hah! Ready to resume if/when you are, boss.

![]() |

Ready to continue whenever you are. I'll wait ;)
