Atajay you notice that the captain seems distracted, gazing off into the horizon or tilting her head as if listening for a sound that no one else can hear. She does not wear a hat.

Atajay you notice that the waters of the river seem unusually clear and teem with iridescent fish. You realise that they are not native to the Inner Sea region.

You also see some waddling quadrupeds on the bank, resembling elephants with short trunks and small ears. Again they do not look like they are natives to the Inner Sea region.

Senn you notice that the sails on the red ship are blood drenched rather than merely red cloth. In addition the ship seems to be getting nearer.
