Hello all, I wanted to let everyone know. I will do my best to keep active, but right now is the time of year things are very difficult for my family.

this is the time My wife lost her brother and her mother. and many may know we are battling alcoholism. this time of year is the most difficult in coping.

we have made some positive step but the journey is so long I wonder if we can ever make it back to a normal life.

any way those of you that pray please keep us in your prayers, I need all the help I can to make it through Thanksgiving.

the next big hurdle will be January with the doldrums of winter with Christmas being over. I only hope we can make it clean and sober through the holidays.

If it matters at all, I have been clean for about 6 months now. my wife has been struggling to make her first 30 days. which will be on the 29th of this month.

That sure isn't easy. I know we haven't known each other long, but you have my compassion.

Congratulations, that's a big accomplishment. I earned my 24 hour token once (during a particularly stupid time of my life; the token was part of the time that I started to come out of it) and I keep it as a reminder.

I'll be keeping you in mine. I hope that it is easier than you expect and that you find even more strength when you need it.

To be clear, you had two boxes to open. One was the wooden case, which had the documents. The other is the metal box with the skulls. It does matter who opens that box, so I haven't posted the contents yet.

Don't get me wrong, Bosch hates this sort of condescending aristocratic nonsense but he is saving his opinions until after lives are on the line.

I meant to post last night, but my collie dog stopped me. I usually go to bed around the same time. Last night, he was going crazy - pawing at me, pushing at me with his nose, and eventually barking while I was typing. He had food and water, I had just taken him outside, so I played with him for awhile. As soon as I sat down at the computer again, he started going crazy. I went into my bedroom and he settled down. He was just trying to herd me into bed...

If memory serves, we have one last errand before the hospital. We need to start an investigation into the missing head of the Sable Company. His disappearance during the Queen's unchecked stranglehold on the city is remarkably suspicious.

As far as Trey is concerned the Hospital is more important.

If you decide to go look for the missing soldier. trey will go and take care of the hospital. the sick and dying are more important to her right now.

Alright, some refreshers of our current possible objectives based on recent information since I got turned around on what objectives are what:

-The Seneschal, Neolandus Kalepopolis, the only official truly capable of curbing the Queen's actions has been missing since the king's death. Cressida was going to Bosch's concerns to Commandant Marcus Thallasinus, the head of the Sable Company since he was set to replace the Seneschal when he retired. Bosch wants to talk to the man himself.

-The Hospice of the Blessed Maiden, is Doctor Devaulus's base and the headquarters of the Physicians. If we are to find anything useful about their motivations and plans, we will need to get inside. We have precious few characters capable of effective stealth and infiltration.

The murder of several nobles by a mysterious assassin using the Blood Veil as a weapon? Too much of a coincidence, the jester has to be tied to the physicians somehow. We might find Ruan at the Hospice of the Blessed Maiden along with evidence to incriminate Dr. Devaulus.

At about what level should we end this book? I'm toying with the idea of altering Bosch's build some to reflect his changing beliefs.
