Background:
Bosch Glasthane is the son of Dame Ivris Glasthane, of the Order of the Dragon, and her husband, Hieronymus Glasthane. Dame Glasthane was a mercenary that often offered her services as an outrider to many Varisian caravans and Hieronymus started out as her smith but ended up as quite a bit more. When they had Bosch, both parents tried to impress a love of their professions into the boy. Some of it took and some of it did not.

Despite a short term as a squire with a friend of his mother's, Bosch had no love of life on the road and enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was training his mother's dogs or working with his father in the forge. Besides, he had other things on his mind, specifically the comely young half-elf that sometimes cleaned and helped around the house when his mother was away. Despite not being the most charming lad going after Lissa, he could be clever, creative and was certainly one of the more honest ones.

Eventually they were married and together, they moved to Korvosa to be closer to some of Lissa's relations. He opened up a smithy there in the Midland District and soon, as young couples often end up, they were expecting. Unfortunately, Lissa would not make it through childbirth but the baby girl did. Bosch name his little bundle of light and love, Belvia or Bee for short.

Together, the two made a path for themselves in the unforgiving city of Korvosa. When the dwarves started to put pressure on him and some of the local smiths Bosch decided to add one more member to their family and got himself Roscoe. The dog took to the family quickly, growing up with Belvia and keeping an eye on the little girl.

Soon Bosch and the other local smithies organized some and managed to get the dwarves to back off. Finally it seemed like he could relax and start enjoying life. That was before he came home one evening to find the nanny he had hired and Roscoe beaten into unconsciousness and his little Bee missing. No notes came and the guard could not do a thing. Eventually he pestered them into giving him the name of Gaedren Lamm.

Despite having expended a consider amount of his resources trying to find Lamm and get his daughter back, he has not gotten any closer to his goal.

Appearance:
Bosch is a strong fellow with hands and arms toughened by the forge. He obviously has the physical strength needed to wield the tools of his trade and force iron and steel to shape themselves to his will. He is powerfully built with wide shoulders and a straight back. His face favors his father's Taldane looks rather than the finer boned, Varisian features of his mother, giving him a strong chin and heavy brow.

Personality:
Bosch is something of a gentle man, a trait that has stood him in good stead with his dog and his daughter. Once upon a time, the last thing he wanted to do was hurt anyone. Sure, he stood up for people from time-to-time but he did not have a short temper or a harsh manner. His neighbors relied on him to handle problems and confided in him. His forge has often served as an impromptu meeting hall for the other local blacksmiths.

Yet now something more valuable than his life was stolen from him and he wants to get it back. How far is a good man willing to go for the sake of his daughter?
