Sorry, been dealing with some real world crises. Where I live in Canada has been getting record rains and flash floods that are tearing apart our infrastructure. My sister is stranded and unable to get home because of washed out highways, and my brother's house is presently at the bottom of a lake that used to be his home town. I'm taking some time off to help deal with some of the problems. I don't know what internet will be like in affected areas. Sorry I have not been present lately.
Taemon'dow is a Paladin(anti) of Asmodeus, so he will go along with anything dedicated to advancing his cause. I will try and catch up and post in the game forum when I can, but I think I'm about 50 posts behind, so it may take a bit before I can comment.
I heard the calgary area was experiencing some very bad floods. I hope that you and your family and friends stay safe and have minimal damage. I know Hurricane Sandy crippled my area in the winter and I hope you don't have to go through the same miserable experience.
My brother lives in a small town just outside of Calgary. A lot of the small towns were hit much much worse than Calgary, but Calgary is what people hear about the most as it is the major population center in the area. The flooding is really quite amazing, and we've never seen anything like it in this area before; it was just a perfect set of circumstances and aligned to allow it to happen. In my brother's town the force of the water was so intense that the river tore out of it's usual path and created a new channel right through his neighborhood. They have no idea right now if they're going to be able to get it back on its old path or if the area will have to be permanently abandoned as it is now right on the riverbank, even though they were over a mile from the river a few days ago. It's kind of crazy.
Alright guys, minor warning. Posting may not happen some days this week, as I am having visitors here who like to schedule elaborate plans involving me at the last minute. I will try my best to post every day, hopefully twice if I have the time, but I may not be able to. For example, I doubt i will be able to get much posting done on Wednesday, because they bizarrely want to stay at a hotel in the town we're visiting, despite it only being like half an hour away from the house.
Here's hoping that your situations in Canada and from last minute elaborate plans come to successful and beneficial conclusions.

Thanks for your prayers, but it's others nearby that need it more; the flooding here in Edmonton is minimal, and nowhere near my home. Others, like my brother and his family have lost their entire home. Fortunately, evacuations were conducted swiftly when the floods began, so while there are still some people reported missing, there have been no confirmed fatalities.
Might as well make note of this now. I am going away on vaction / to my sister's wedding this Friday and will be gone till the 11th of July. While I may be able to post while I am away, it will likely be at a minimal. I give the GM permission to control my character while I am away if necessary.

Back from Vacation / Sister's wedding. It may take a little time to get back in the swing of things, but I should be good by EoW.
And the moral of the story is to never say "it will be a short trip." It jinxed it. My aunt got sick the morning we were supposed to leave, so we had to go the hospital with her. It's the latest in a series of escelating aliments that all started with her getting a blister on her foot. But now I am finally back.

I'm sorry to say, but I think I am going to drop out as well, but for different reasons. I am having trouble feeling this game and getting back into it since 2/3 of the original team had left; now that the last other original member has dropped out, I feel like I have very little invested in this game. Rather than continue to contribute only a lackluster performance to a game that could be fun for everyone else, I think I will drop out. Hopefully the new team is really able to bond and continue the game.
Aw, I'm sorry you two are leaving. It'll be sad to see the last two people of the original group go, but I understand.
On that note, if nobody else has anything they'd like to say in this scene, we can skip forward to the actual training. If people still have things they'd like to do/stay we can continue, but the option is always here.

Cosmiy - I think I am good with moving on past the other scene, but do you want to bring in one or two new replacement players? Might be a good idea to extend this phase before getting to training if that is your intention as it will give anyone new a chance to interact with those already signed to the contract.
I am up for a FFW. Personally I am ready for a bit more "action" as it were. After all, I feel there is much we will find out, and much bonding that will be experienced while in the thick of things.
I was considering not getting two more people, but looking at the party makeup, we may need it. Let me go through my other channels of finding people before posting an actual recruitment thread, however. I may be able to find people faster this way than I would otherwise. ((Also, my internet connection is kind of wobbly right now and I don't want to write an awfully long post to have it conk out on me))

For the new people, introduction: You've been recruited to the organization much as the other four were, being rescued from being arrested or on the way to be arrested to join the organization.
The two new people are a monk and an aegis.
200 gp worth of supplies for the two new people, as well as a Iron Circlet and a silver holy symbol of Asmodeus for both of them. (The Iron Circlets act as hats of disguise, the holy symbols are just holy symbols).
We can have some sort of side-thread to roleplay the two new people meeting the Cardinal and signing the contract, we can do that to start the meeting, or we can just decide that they've done it and move on with the beginning of the training. Whatever you'd prefer.
