Kurse takes out his wand and mumbles a few words causing the wand to glow brightly. "I do not undersstand why you call me a hairy potter every ssingle time I do that Sslipss. I have sseen a few pot makerss with excesssive body hair but I have never sseen one use thiss technique before." He huffs as he follows along down the stairs.

With the way now lit , your party descends the stairway into the underground as Garver stays behind to report back to VC Themis on your find. The steps carry on for a short distance and then sharply turn and turn again as you climb step after step. The temperature falls rapidly with your decent, until your breath fogs the dank air before you.
Finally you arrive at a chamber where an ancient fountain decorates this open tunnel intersection. Many chipped sculptures provide spouts through which drizzles of water splash into the basin below. The fountain’s cold concrete edges have carved symbols that adorn its sides in three distinct bands. A set of stairs leading down from above empties into the room from the south, while two 5-foot-wide tunnels exit the room to the east and west.

Svetlana steps in front of the passageway and into an onslaught of missiles. The mite in front heaves a large jar of something which crashes into her armor and shatters in a shower of glass and spiders that begin to swarm over a 10 ft radius, covering Svetlana and Otiophon.
A few darts bounce off the tiefling harmlessly, but a crossbow bolt sweeps past as if it pulled a veil of darkness over your eyes.
A darkness spell is now centered on the room, and be aware that there are more enemies than you can currently see on the map.

Marla draws a wand and casts shield on Brak, before stowing it. When the darkness fall, she and Brak don't seem bothered, but she sees some of the others being affected by it, and she goes looking for the bolt to stuff it into her quiver to get rid of the Darkness.

I had some trouble deciding how long it will take Marla to neutralize the darkness. I think it will be 3 move actions, 1 to actively search, 1 to climb down into the fountain and 1 to conceal the bolt and cancel the darkness. So the spell will be undone in the middle of round 2.
The swarm moves away from the mites, again swarming over Otiophon, dozens of tiny mandibles biting him at once. Revulsion and nausea threaten to overwhelm the paladin, but he stands firm. The swarm attacks after it moves so Svetlana escaped their bite, Oti takes 2 damage but saves vs distraction and poison.
Brak annihilates the first mite, leaving an opening for Svetlana to step up and knock the second one out.
The third mite in line draws his dagger and steps over his fallen comrade to keep the dangerous beauty at bay, but he makes no contact with his clumsy slashes. The fourth mite casts something at her, but she shakes it off with no effect. A pair of Derro further down the tunnel take turns at firing at the tiefling, but only the first one strikes her. Svetlana takes 3 damage, saves vs poison.

Svetlana knocks out the last mite and the first derro in line steps up and smacks her with a strange hooked club. The one behind him casts at the tiefling and the dwarf in the narrow hallway, hitting them with an ear-splitting shriek that leaves them both stunned.
Svetlana takes 6 damage from the club and she and Brak both take 3 damage from Sonic Burst and are stunned for 1 round.
A stunned creature drops everything held, can't take actions, takes a –2 penalty to AC, and loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any).
Attackers receive a +4 bonus on attack rolls to perform combat maneuvers against a stunned opponent.
The swarm turns back toward Otiophon, sweeping over him again. 4 damage to Oti and he makes his saves, got Kurse and Li in round 3, they get Oti in round 4.
