I agree that the setting is awesome if it weren't, I wouldn't have been willing to take over this game from your previous GM. Since ZG isn't one of the Paizo APs, it isn't as popular.
Sure, I have been rolling pretty high, which is part of the game. And your group has been unlucky in its rolling.
The truth is you could just evacuate the ship. (Spoiler) Most groups since 2011 weren't able to save the ship, anyway.
My posting on this particular campaign reflects the posting of the players. If they post a lot, I do. Some GMs can be nasty about pacing but I am not. I thank Lynn for her candor.

As it stands, I was already leaning very strongly towards just leaving when this scene was over. I'm willing to stick it out if you want to rerecruit (a significant portion of my dislike of the campaign came from the inattentiveness of the other players, as well as the very slow posting and responses). Depending on what Isabel wants, it may be better just to let it go, though. :(

Well, hopefully this isn't being laid at my feet. I do take a portion of the responsibility being GM and all but I tried to revive a faltering game.
To be absolutely honest, I don't think it would be worth recruiting a whole new team. If we had two out of four maybe but basically to just start completely with new people, may as well start the campaign from the beginning.

Definitely not being laid at your feet. As I said before I'd already felt like there was a problem with post rates and attentiveness and such long before the first GM performed the vanishing. You ran things as written (I assume!), and other folks just kind of stared off into space during the game; there's not much one can do for that, realistically. That's not at all a DM issue, that's a player issue.

Don't worry too much about it. You tried to help a game that was already in a bad spot. Even I was exceptionally inattentive, flustered, and frustrated (less so with you than myself and the group as a whole :(). The fact that we'd effectively lost two members in hte first week was particularly nasty.

I waited till today, just in case, Lynn wanted to add something. I do love Zeitgeist but to be honest I really do not want to start the campaign from the top. And if you think Adventure 1 is involved, Adventure 2 is a killer. What I am saying is Zeitgeist is not a easy to follow AP like say Jade Regent or Mummy's Mask. It needs players who really want to do the work and a GM as well.
So what I will do is close the campaign down in the next day or so.
