Moving to hear to not clutter with musings about the internal structure of the pathfinder society.

Fade, I understand where your going with this, but unfortunately we've got 2 problems: First, your promising protection that really, you can't really promise. Becoming a pathfinder offers you no protection from the law, ESPECIALLY in the river kingdoms. Second, your promising aid that you can't really promise... the pathfinders have been known, more than once to leave pathfinders high and dry in a sorta "They signed up for this" attitude if it meant protecting the organization as a whole. They often try to circle back and help if they can, but again no guarantee. Even then, that's usually only for full agents or important members, simple contacts don't usually get that kinda support.

Simply put, there isn't a good "Way out" of this situation. You either gotta let them go, kill them, or turn them over to the authorities. Letting them serve out a sentence to the pathfinders, while a interesting idea to me, is not something that would be covered by the law. It's a rough choice, but it's the choice that's available.

Fade doesn't really care about laws to be honest, but I figured he might believe what he was telling her. I see what you are saying though so I will just say he was over promising, as it sounds like him.

I always got the impression that Society missions were optional-- you took what was offered, and no backing out at the last minute, but you didn't have to do missions if you didn't want to. Of course, they're the only way to gain yourself rapport with the organization, but that was on you.

Let's get a few healing potions? Just so our resident caster doesn't have to heal us during the fight if we need it? Fade has 274 gp on him. Not enough for a cure mod potion. I'll go with 3 cure light for 150 if possible.

Oh and a potion of feather step if possible. Everyone should have one of those.

Thanks Starson. That was quite the finish! Another speedy game and thanks for keeping the pace up. I've been busier than usual in my personal/professional life but I did my best not to cause any hold ups.

Great job everyone. Thanks for having me along. You have some interesting characters, and considering we had a wizard for a healer, (wow!), I think we did pretty darn well. Turns out the best defense is a bang up offense.

There were lots of highlights I won't soon forget, such as the just crazy effective use of glitterdust! I love how well the worked!

@Evariel Being 3rd level, and having just 20 hp, in this game was rough. There was a very real chance for your death, so I am just glad that didn't happen. It certainly didn't hold you back though, and that was impressive.

@Bait/The Eclipse BTW that Mountebank move was another one of those really cool moves I will remember. I love stuff like that. Those little "one time a day/save your bacon" items are great!

Yea I knew it was a bad idea, but honestly I didn't realize right away that we were playing up. By the time I did I'd already introduced Evariel, so I just went with it. That first arena fight I was afraid he was destined for an early retirement...
