The warehouse is Alliance Storage, located at 11254 Commerce St. Bellevue, near the docks. Alliance Storage is an affiliate of Aztecnology but not run by them. It also has a very good rep for being a secure storage site.

Ork Smuggler

Does this mean that I don't need to call Tanja anymore for info?

@ Blake - Tanya would have some useful info that you don't have like what times the shipments are coming in? What transport line is bringing them? She might also be able to provide manifest orders telling you which pallets were supposed to be sent to Bertinelli's before he got cut out.

@the group:
- Just some suggestions to get you started in the right direction.

You probably want to do physical and cyber surveillance to know what you're up against at the warehouse.

Get some info on where and how the comlinks are being shipped to the warehouse.

Figure out how you're going to steal transport and destroy the stolen comlinks.

If you're paranoid you might want to find out what's up with Bertinelli, like why he was dropped from the pre-sale.
Figure out who else benefits from this run.

Yoshi shares the address with the group, then he says "I think we should check it out tonight as well I want to get an idea of it before I start getting ready to hack there system."

Wilde nodded. "I agree. Checking out the place in person is the only way to be sure. And if we check it now, then when we go in for actual, we can tell if any changes have been made to the place, systems or procedures. As that's always a possibility, it's nice to plan for it at a minimum."

"Fair enough, let's scope out the site."

Who is heading out to check the warehouse?

Alistair will check out the wharehouse location.

I'll be going.

As shall I :)

Ork Smuggler

I suppose inspecting the place beforehand wouldn't hurt... Tomorrow morning I can get us some more insight on the place, no sweat. I know a person, so don't worry. I mean, you obviously aren't worried, because we are all professionals here, right? Moses pauses, then smiles again: Anyway, I have the right ride. I'll bring you to the place.

I plan to use myu thrusty Van. Do you guys have a vehicle?

I've got a pretty sweet ride myself. Question though, are we checking the place out tonight or in the morning cause I'm confused now.

@Shadowfaux - I believe you are heading out at night around 2:30am.

Looks like everyone but Random is heading out.

As you head downstairs you notice that most the crowd has gone home or are out working, only the most desperate for work are still hanging around.

Exiting you head for your vehicles, when you get about halfway to them I need everyone to make a perception+intuition check.
Shadowfaux, you can use substitute enhanced senses for perception.

Sorry a little late to response but I was going with the group.

Prior to going downstairs:
"The van would be our best intrest since it would be more fishey if a herd of vechiles came roaming by watching the warehouse, if you know what I mean."

Perception roll:
5d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 4, 1) = 19 2 succuess

Intuition and Perception: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 3) = 13
Visual focus, if applicable: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

Ork Smuggler

Intuition and Perception:5d6 + 0 ⇒ (2, 5, 2, 1, 3) + 0 = 13

1 success:
You don't notice anything out of the ordinary.

2 successes:
the parking lot seams to quieter than it should be but nothing else looks out of place.

Waiting for the rest to make their rolls.

Intuition + Peception: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 2, 4) = 20, 2 successes

Alistair 'Shadowfaux' McRath wrote:

You didn't add the +2 die for perception checks from your enhanced senses.

Kikuchiyo wrote:

Yes it was applicable, but didn't do any good. ;)

Xabulba:
Random gets a little extra paranoid at these especially when he owes a loanshark a lot of money. So I am going to while in AR mode going to search for any active cyberware signals in the close area. Noting most of smartlinks, the group is excluded since I know some of them probably have theres fired up.

Electronics+scan:10d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 3, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, 2) = 30 2 successes

Random follows the others with only half his attention on them.

Ork Smuggler

Moses' Van is a old, sturdy GMC Bulldog, parked just in the middle of the lot. He leads the other there, opening the back door and revealing a untidy mess inside. Since he lost his shop, Moses has been carrying what's let of it in the back of his Van, that now looks like a collection of spare hardware parts and random electronics hanged from the ceiling. Here we are, sit wherever you want says Moses rather enthusiastically. Oh, and if you find something useful, don't hesitate to ask. Don't mind the appearance, this is still one of the best hardware shops around. He then goes at the driving seat and starts up the engine (there is also the passenger's seat near him). Right, who knows where is the place?

@Random - Wannabee's isn't in the best area so the AR is very light to begin with. Mostly what is there are street signs and the occasional stuffer shack. Wannabees projects an anime sushi roll eaten by a anime human head. The AR sign still somehow manages to flicker and fuzz out of focus despite being virtual. What doesn't look normal is the com traffic in the car park is abnormally light and the background 'noise' level is nowhere near the normal.

Kikuchiyo looks doubtfully at Moses' van.
"No offense, chummer, but I'll take my bike and just park it a few blocks from the warehouse. Wouldn't want it to get jacked out here, right? Any of you have some mapsofts or anything so we can look this place up?"

The enhanced sense are for Hearing and Smell. I didn't want to assume they would come into play so I only really considered vision. If I can use them then, 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5, eh didn't help much anyways.

Alistair takes one look at the van and shakes his head. So I appreciate the offer and I agree that we don't want too many cars around but I think I'll take mine instead. Alistair triggers his keyless lock and the headlights flash on a sleekly beautiful BMW 400Gt sitting a few spaces over. It's hard to make out the interior as the windows are almost completely blacked out but there is no doubt that the car is well maintained. Looking back at Moses' van he gives him a nod. Once this is all set, remind me to give you my mechanic's name just in case you ever need it.

Paging Mr. Wilde

Intuition + Perception: 8d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 4, 2, 5, 6, 2) = 30
Sorry, been a lousy couple of days, kept forgetting to check my list of games. :(

Ork Smuggler

Moses grunts in disappointment. Suit yourselves. Take your own car or bike, whatever, let's all go there in a trail of vehicles, yeah, that won't look conspicuous at all. But who am I to teach you the job?. He then replies to Alistair: By the way, I am my own mechanic, and I'm probably better than yours. He then gets in the van and slams the door, waiting for somebody else to take point.

Kikuchiyo shrugs.
"I said no offense.", he says to Random and Mr. Wilde before slinging his duffel bag over a shoulder and walking to his Mirage at the other end of the parking lot.

@ Mr. Wilde - I'm going have Wilde play an action so we can get the game rolling.

Just as Moses gets to his van Mr. Wilde shouts out Ambush!!! Take cover!. Suddenly visible to everyone are 3 trolls and 2 orks that are covering the parking lot with weapons drawn.

Everyone give me Initiative and number of passes.:
Roll Initiative score in dice and add the hits to your Initiative attribute—this total is your Initiative Score.
Also tell me the number of combat passes you get.

Tactical map.
The trolls and orks are from 3-5 meters away. The grey oblongs are vehicles.

As the word "ambush" hits Kikuchiyo's ears, his wired reflexes kick his adrenal gland into overdrive.
Initiative: 9d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 6, 1, 2, 6, 3, 1) = 28

3 hits, plus an Initiative of 9 = score of 12, 3 passes. 1s only cause a glitch if half of your pool comes up as a 1 right?

Kikuchiyo wrote:

Yes.

1st pass
Kikuchiyo 12
2nd pass

3rd pass

Just curious what kind of weapons are these Trogs wielding.

Initiative:10d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 2, 4, 1, 6, 2, 1, 1) = 25 I am a 12 as well with a glitch.

Ork Smuggler

Initiative10d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 5, 3, 2, 2, 2, 1, 3) = 23
Mine's 11 with 1 pass.
Moses panickes for a second, then starts up the van with the intention to ram the troll on the far left (Troll 3) with it.
This is when my noobness comes up: how do I do that? What dice do I need to roll to perform this action?

Initiative: 10d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 6, 5, 1, 1, 5, 4, 1) = 34
4 hits plus initiative of 10 = Initiative 14, 2 passes

As he yelled, Eugene made note of the nearest vehicle and made a break for it, moving to crouch behind it as he drew his pistol. he muttered to himself *~This~ is what I hate about these things....*

@Random - Troll 1&2 are holding smg's, troll 3 is carrying a spiked bat and a long knife, both orks are holding heavy pistols. More info will take a perception check a simple movement.
For your glitch, You slip on someones sick and can only move 1/4 speed on the first pass.

@Moses - Attempting to run over the troll is a complex action and would require a pilot(Ground vehicle)+agility check. The more successes the better the result.

1st pass
Mr. wilde 14
Kikuchiyo 12
Random 12
Moses 11
2nd pass
Mr. wilde 14
Kikuchiyo 12
3rd pass

Rolling Pilot+ Agility. I also have Positive Quality: Gearhead rank 2. How does this apply?
9d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 4, 2, 1, 6, 6, 4) = 30

His left eye twitching with the adrenaline rush, Kikuchiyo pulls one of the Predators from its concealed holster, firing on the draw at the closest Ork. Ork 1

Quick Draw- Pistols + Reaction (3): 10d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 2, 6, 6) = 41 5 hits
Predator IV w/exploding ammo (Agility + Pistols): 12d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 3, 4, 1, 2, 4, 4, 5, 2, 3) = 43 4 hits

Running for the small bit of cover behind his motorcycle, he fires once more at the Ork.
Fire on the run (Agility + Pistols; -1 dice Semi-Auto, -2 running): 9d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 6, 3, 5, 6, 2, 1) = 36 5 hits

Moses Blake wrote:

9d6

Gearhead2 gives you +2dice to your vehicle skill check pool. You also need to add or subtract the vehicles handling from the die pool. The GMC Bulldog has a 0 handling so no dice added or subtracted.

you forgot the –2 per additional target that Action Phase. That knocks your number of hits down to 4

If I shoot at the same Ork that's considered an additional target? My intention was to shoot Ork 1 twice.

Oops, nevermind.

7d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 6, 1, 1, 5) = 24
3 hits + 7 is 10 with apparently only 1 pass

@Everyone - Please list the modified DV of your weapon when you make an attack. It'll save me time of having to look through gear lists to find the DV's. Also when resisting an attack please roll both your defense pool and armor Resistance pool at the same time to sped up combat.
Defense pool = Reaction+modifiers (Full defense = Reaction+dodge or acrobatics+modifiers)
Armor Resistance = Armor value+Body

1st pass:

Mr. Wilde 14
Kikuchiyo 12
Random 12
Moses 11
Shadowfaux 10

T2 10
T1 8
T3 8

3rd pass:

Kikuchiyo 12

Mr. Wilde moves for cover while drawing his weapon.

Quicker than blink of and eye Kikuchiyo's draws his pistol and fires off a couple rounds at ork 1 as while he heads for cover.

Ork 1 defense crunch:

Def. = 5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 5, 4) = 23
Dam. resistance = 9d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 1, 5, 2, 3, 4, 5) = 32

Def. = 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 5, 2) = 22
Dam. resistance = 9d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 5, 4, 2, 3, 5, 6) = 37

Kikuchiyo's hits the ork twice but both shots fail to penetrate the ork's armor. The ork is still moderately stunned by the impact.

Random, your action?

"Oh drek." With that comment he draws out his large silver revolver and shoots at the Troll in front of him twice.

Free Action:Activates smartlink to Ruger Super Warhawk

1st Simple action:Pistol+Reaction(2 cuz of quickdraw holster)8d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 5, 5) = 24
Fires Ruger Super Warhawk at Troll 1(Pistols(3)+Agility(6)+Smartlink(2):11d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 6, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 6, 6) = 42 5 successes

2nd Simple action:Fires Ruger Super Warhawk at Troll 1 again(its modified to be SA and with personal grip(1 recoil comp)) Pistols(3)+Agility(6)+Smartlink(2)11d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 3, 5, 1, 2, 3, 2, 4, 2) = 31 2 successes

Ruger Super Warhawk: AP:-2 DV: 6P

Troll 1 crunch:
Defense pool = 5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 3, 5) = 14
Armor Resistance = -2 = 12d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 1, 4, 4, 6, 2, 3) = 40

Defense pool = 5d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 4, 4) = 16
Armor Resistance = -2 = 12d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 1, 4, 1, 5, 1, 4, 3, 1, 3) = 35

Blood explodes from Troll 2 as Random's hand cannon shreds her armor. Despite her grievous wounds troll 2 is still barely alive.

Troll 2 crunch:
Defense pool = 5d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 6, 5) = 22
Armor Resistance = 12d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 2, 6, 3, 4, 1, 1, 1, 2, 5) = 37

Moses guns his engine and attempts a little vehicular homicide on troll 2 but the troll easily dodges out of the way.

Shadowfaux, your action?

Ork Smuggler

Sorry for the late post, I'll roll the two extra d6, can it change the outcome of my action?
2d6 + 0 ⇒ (1, 1) + 0 = 2
Guess not...

Alistair calmly raises the shotgun hanging at his waist and steps behind the cover of his car. Leaning over the top, he blasts buckshot at the approaching troll.

No aciton: Walk to get behind cover of his car.
Free action: Activate smartlink.
Simple Action 1: Ready his SPAS-22 shotgun.
Simple Action 2: Fire shotgun at Troll 3; Firearms 1 + Agi 3 + 2(smartlinked) - 1(firing from cover). 5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 3, 1) = 14, 1 hit. Couldn't tell range on the map so went with Short to be safe.

Sorry for the delay, snow storm shenanigans and Halloween stuff.
