As they search, they find numerous texts on demonology and treatises on the Worldwound. The librarians report, to their horror, that all of the texts with reference to the demon lords Deskari and Baphomet are either missing or burned. Absent, too, are the texts describing the formation of the Wardstone. The head librarian almost cries as she replies. Her devotion to books overrides any discipline she has. I'm sorry, knights. They bur.. burned them! And, that .. thing! That horrible horrible thing! It was a man made entirly of worms. He .. bound us with magic and then ripped our treasures from this building. Then, he commanded behemoth demons to tear this building down around us as he left.
As the librarian speaks, the armiger's search the area for clues. D'hara finds a letter written in the foul tongue of the abyss.
My lord Vang,
You servants have done well in spreading our word through the mortal town. Knowledge of our Purpose has slithered into the ears of even the greatest of them, and now, their souls fester and seethe with the corruption of our magnificence, and I your trusted servant shall be at your side! It was well of you to place Faxon within the Tower of Estrod. The foolish mortals still see its owners as wise and noble scholars of the city! How delicious to know that their faith was the source of their own corruption! The city shall soon fall to the Tower's "faithful".
Once Vorlesh has finished with the Wardstone and Kenabres no longer stands, I shall return to Drezen to await your commands and begin the corruption of Yaniel's sword. I believe, as do you, that it shall be quite useful in the Master's plans.
Should you send another agent to speak with Faxon, the password, as always, remains "I've new matherial for the archives".
May Lord Deskari and Lord Baphomet watch over you!

Ezechias absorbs most of the wounds from D'hara, leaving her more apt to focus her mind on the scholarly task at hand. "I'm not much of a scholar. Giosue, let me know if I can help you with something."
D'hara is healed for 1 points, then I'll use one charge of the wand of infernal healing to top me off while the others are researching.

Kevroth |

Having found what he could, Kevroth turns his attention to his allies, "Is anyone still injured? By the grace of the Lord of Hell, I have some ability to heal yet this day."

D'hara |

D'hara bowed formally to Ezechias as most of her wounds closed. She smiled beneath her scarf while pressing her fingers into the last remaining wound. It should leave a decent enough scar. It would help to remind her to practice more. She mustn't let chaos get the better of her. She had to be more disciplined.
She then turned to approach Giosue and presented him with the letter she had found. "I do not speak the demons' language, but I have seen it enough to recognize it. If you can read it, will you teach me?"

Giosue Rhigetti |

Giosue read the letter over to himself twice, committing it to memory before reciting it.
"This is addressed to a lord Vang:

"They dared invade our city, and now the Tower of Estrod? We must put an end to this, arrest this Faxon and interrogate him."
