Special Abilities

Arcane Bond (Ex or Sp) A wand.
Arcanist Exploits DC 10 + ½ arcanist level + cha mod.
*Energy Shield: Standard action energy resist 10 for min/level. Resist up 5 at 5/10/10/20. Currently 15.
*Potent Magic When using reservoir to buff DC or CL, gets +2 bonus instead of +1.
Arcane Reservoir (Su): Arcanist level +3 points per day. Used to boost DC or caster level of arcanist spell by 1. Currently 9
Automatic Bonus Progression
*Resistance +1 to saves
*Armor attunement +1 (robes), weapon attunement +1 (crossbow)
*Deflection +1
*Mental Prowess (Int) +2
Conjurer’s Focus (Sp): Spend a reservoir point to summon monster 1 as standard action. Duration 1 minute per level. At 3rd, every 2 levels thereafter, can spend 1 more point to get Summon Monster X, X=points spent. Replaces level 1 exploit.
Consume Spells (Su): Move action to burn spell slot for arcane reservoir. Does not work on cantrips.
Eldritch Breach (Su) You are adept at breaching magical defenses and overcoming resistance to your magic. When attempting a caster level check to dispel an effect, overcome spell resistance, or otherwise determine whether your magic affects a target (such as with knock or neutralize poison), roll twice and take the higher result.
Hard to Kill (Ex) Whenever you’re below 0 hit points, you automatically stabilize without needing to attempt a Constitution check. If you have an ability that allows you to act while below 0 hit points, you still lose hit points for taking actions, as specified by that ability. Bleed damage still causes you to lose hit points when below 0 hit points. In addition, you don’t die until your total number of negative hit points is equal to or greater than double your Constitution score.
Planar Spells Planar ally spells and plane shift on spell list.
Mythic Power (Su) Mythic characters can draw upon a wellspring of power to accomplish amazing deeds and cheat fate. This power is used by a number of different abilities. Each day, you can expend an amount of mythic power equal to 3 plus double your mythic tier (5/day at 1st tier, 7/day at 2nd, etc.). This amount is your maximum amount of mythic power. If an ability allows you to regain uses of your mythic power, you can never have more than this amount.
Specialist powers (Conjuration [teleportation]):
*Shift (Su): Teleport 5 feet / 2 levels (min 5) as a swift action, self and familiar only, 8/day
*Summoner’s Charm (Su): duration of summon spells increased ½ wiz levels, min 1, not doubled by metamagic.
Surge (Su) You can call upon your mythic power to overcome difficult challenges. You can expend one use of mythic power to increase any d20 roll you just made by rolling 1d6 and adding it to the result. Using this ability is an immediate action taken after the result of the original roll is revealed. This can change the outcome of the roll. The bonus die gained by using this ability increases to 1d8 at 4th tier, 1d10 at 7th tier, and 1d12 at 10th tier.
Wild Arcana (Su) As a standard action, you can expend one use of mythic power to cast any one arcane spell without expending a prepared spell or spell slot. The spell must be on one of your arcane class spell lists, must be of a level that you can cast with that arcane spellcasting class, and must have a casting time of “1 standard action” (or less). You don’t need to have the spell prepared, nor does it need to be on your list of spells known. When casting a spell in this way, you treat your caster level as 2 levels higher for the purpose of any effect dependent on level. You can apply any metamagic feats you know to this spell, but its total adjusted level can’t be greater than that of the highest-level arcane spell you can cast from that spellcasting class

Backstory:
Whosoever may read this, know it to be the account of Giosue Rhigetti, late of Egorian and presently resident in Kenabres, no more than two miles from that planar effluence known as the Worldwound.

I have taken pen to parchment in order to record my life, as an act of discipline which will permit me to note my successes and lapses, most particularly of my memory, and those fruitful thoughts which might otherwise be swallowed up and lost in the roiling chaos of an unfocused mind.

My antecedents do me great shame. They broke their sacred oaths to the Empire of Cheliax and tainted their blood with the inchoate passions of the Heavens. Their deceit was uncovered and they were broken on the rack. It was my task to watch and learn from their ordeal the cost of disorder. As they would have done to the Empire, so was done unto them in unstinting detail. Put to the ordeal, their ideals failed them at once. They begged release and swore countless oaths to obey forever after. They would sell to the realm that which it already owned.

I was their creature and begged with them. I would swear any oath so they would suffer no longer, giving myself up for their sake. My pleas and those of my parents fell rightly on deaf ears. There can be no appeal from such anarchy. Reducing them to mindless slaves would have been too kind.

At length, the fact that they had blasphemed against Hell required that Hell take its own vengeance. Signifers of the Order of the Gate parted the veil between worlds and called forth a devil. The sight of their calling and then the champion of law which it brought transformed me. I saw in it and them a perfection that my callow life had entirely lacked. Meeting it would be an impossibility, but one I must undertake. I begged again, but not for the relief of my misbegotten parents. Instead I yearned to see the creature, to speak to it and learn from it. To be like those great men who called it across the infinite void.

My pleas moved none. I struggled to master myself as the ordeals continued, but only after my parents’ deaths did my disposal become a matter of concern. I should rightly be executed, but the signifers marked the change the devil had wrought in me. I was suffered live, provided I submit myself absolutely to their tutelage.

It was difficult. My nature recoiled against it. I failed many times and each should have been rightly executed after a proper ordeal. But slowly my mind was bent and I learned of the infinite Will that dominates all and it’s most perfect model. As its truth filled me, concern for all else fled. In the end, there is only Law. I became truly and rightly its most devoted slave. My progress increased dramatically and I was suffered the indulgence of learning a useful craft which might further discipline my mind, that of an illuminator. Thus I could convey the majesty of the Ninefold Hell to others while honing my wits in the exacting standards demanded by the censors.

Through my art and craft I have progressed greatly. It was deemed meet that I travel to the Worldwound, where I might see the workings of Chaos and, in due course, try myself against them. I knew from the first that they reached far beyond the Worldwound, an anarchic effluvia staining the full mortal realm. It had come even into the vaunted orders of crusaders. Kenabres has done little to dissuade me in this. Everywhere beyond the chapterhouse I see discipline entirely lacking. I do not know how this filth can be eradicated. My modest stature grants no great influence. But I will apply myself and find the truth of it, or be consumed.
