Arianna allowed the others to argue without adding any input into the debate about the morality or necessity of killing the sleeping mongrelmen, the decision to take them alive had been made and acted upon. At Iolaire's urging she moved quietly towards one of the doors and after a brief inspection for traps pressed an ear to the door to listen to the other side. If it sounded clear she'd move to stealthily open it just wide enough for a sliver of light from their room to make it inside before sliding the mirror from her pack to use it to investigate the room beyond, hopefully without alerting anyone to her presence.

Iolaire soon find, that the skull is broken at the point she hit it. The mongrelwoman is breathing lightly but steadily, and her pulse goes regularly, so she doesn't seem to be in immediate danger of dying. Still she is in severe need of healing, because who knows if internal bleeding might not damage her brain eventually.

In the meantime, Arianna has taken a look at the door in the northern wall and did find no traps, so she goes on and opens the door as carefully and silently as possible. Her heartbeat stops for a moment when she hears a whispered conversation as soon as she does so, but it seems that whoever is in the next room, didn't hear her actions, becusue the whispering does not even stop for a moment.

Using her mirror, Arianna finds that the next room must be something like a trophy hall. She can't see too much, but there are shelves on the wall, displaying what might be the bodies of different animals, that probably fell prey to the mongrelmen's hunting skills. And at the other side of the room, Arianna can make out two human-shaped figures talking with another in hushed voices, luckily turning her back to Arianna's position.

At the same time, Uldir turned his attention to the northern door in the east wall, listening for what might be behind it. He presses his ear against the wood , only to hear someone or something rummaging through the room behind it.

Kendren looks at the two enemies and decides that Alfred is already adjacent to the one, so he decides to target the other by casting a spell to hopefully make them slip and fall.

I cast grease in the green area of the map, and I'm spending a point from my arcane reservoir to up the DC by 2 to 17. Relevant bits in the spoiler below, especially the part about moving (since it looks like he's holding a scythe).

Grease:

A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.

The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to their CMD to avoid being grappled.

When Kendren's spell takes effect, the ground around and beneath the cultist begins to shimmer as if covered by a thin layering of oil. And the movement of setting his glaive against the attackers is enough to let him lose balance. For a second, his arms are helplessly flailing around. Then gravity wins, and while he falls to the ground, he can do nothing but make sure that he doesnt fall into his weapon's blade.

Enemy 1 falls prone.

Arianna uses the opportunity to light-footedly move between the enemies, bringing the second one between her and Alfred. But Iolaire sees the blow coming and with a little jump easily evades the attack. Arianna ducks under the other enemy's weapon and closes distance to make it harder for him to hit her another time. Still, her counterattack fails, so he still stands on his feet.

Uldir, I think that your readied action won't be triggered by opening the other door (that is 20 feet away from your position) since you focused on the door right next to you that you guarded.

Besides, while the other PCs might not even have noticed that to happen, I think that Kendren might have, as he's still with you in the same room with you. So Kendren, while I've read your post in the discussion thread, if you want to react in any way on that, feel free to do so.
