Tried to wait it out for Shalewigg's other turn since it sucks to skip someone on the first combat, but we need to keep it moving and it sucks harder to get snagged this earlier. Sorry, but you've been skipped this round.
Damien's attack fails to do anything, striking the guard's armor noisily, but nothing else. Panic sets in as he grabs his club and swings wildly at his attacker, impulsively trying to take back the situation despite being vastly outnumbered. There's something almost excited beneath the raw panic, as though an opportunity to start slaping prisoners around has been something he's waited for.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Half of all damage done with these clubs is nonlethal.

Damien grunts in pain but tries to stay quiet in case of any other nearby guards. He steps around to flank the guard and swings a haymaker!
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d3 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (5) = 6
This time I will provoke since he has acted. Hopefully he either misses or rolls bad damage.

Prison Break, Rd. 2
Maybe I created confusion by changing her picture. Shalewig went in round 2, threatening the guard and readying with the thorns. He hadn't taken any actions since then, and Damien was going to talk to him. No action came back around to Shalewigg until last night, right?
When the guard reaches for his weapon, Shalewigg strikes down on his neck with her thorns.

Since she goes dead last among friends and Soren hasn't reacted to the fight, she'll wait to see how the woman who freed her reacts to the fighting.

Soren keeps her dagger ready, and as the guard takes a swipe with her club she moves to attack. Attempting to take hold of the hand in which he wields the club, she brings the dagger up overhead, driving towards his weapon hand. "You really think you can overwhelm us all? Think, man, so long as your head is still connected to your shoulders."
