Nigel decides it is finally time to act, for better or worse.
He re-activates bane (swift 4/5 remain), but on the mithril dagger.
He will then charge the undead dwarf.
+1 mith dagger, charge, invis, bane, aid: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 24 for
dmg, bane, rhino/charge, judgement: 1d3 + 4 + 2 + 2d6 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 + (3, 1) + (5, 1) + 2 = 19
"Ok Eothan, now we gotta see what we can do to this punk dwarf."
All of the above on Nigel's turn, whenever it occurs (unless something prevents it). Check my math and I hope that is enough, otherwise this will be for naught.

Leo's potion seems to be deluded as he drinks it for minimal return.
Aothan deactivates and reactivates his magic circle. Karsk (using old Will save) seems to come to his senses.
The dwarf stands paralyzed with indecision.
New Round.
From the shadows, Nigel, the defender of light and goodness appears. Catching Ctenmllr, he is able to drive his dagger deep. The undead warrior turns with a look of shock on his face at the halfling.
Aothan, Leo & Karsk up. Karsk may act normally while within 10' of Aothan. Sorry for the delay everybody.

Karsk |

Karsk takes a step back and swings at the mean dwarf.
Ragin' Power Attack: 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 13 - 2 = 16
Damage: 1d12 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 4 = 20
Iterative Ragin' Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 8 - 2 = 19
Damage: 1d12 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 4 = 22

Aothan |

concentration on Aid DC 17: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 211d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
If successful, Aothan adds the above total to his current 34 hp. He will also step south to give more squares for allies (probably for future healing.)

Leo drinks his potion. A warm sensation as if he is covered in a blanket surrounds him.
Karsk comes to his senses and swings at Ctenmllr. Even unaware of his treason, Karsk is unable to break through Ctenmllr's defenses.
Aothan slinks to the south while retaining his lifeforce.
Ctenmllr wounds are healing faster then normal
With his enemies lined up before him, Ctenmllr will try to cleave through Nigel and into Karsk.
Cleaving Power attack vs post charged Nigel: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 191d8 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23
Nigel ducks under the wide swing, leaving a slight opening for attack on the dwarf.
Party is up!

Nigel Briarthane |

Nigel stabs at the dwarf again, switching judgement to destruction.
+1 mith dagger, bane, aid: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 8 + 1 + 2 = 29 damage : 1d3 + 4 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 + (4, 2) + 2 = 17
perception : 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
"This is not good, he us healing already."
Nigel will 5' step towards the wall to give Aothan a chance to flank.

Aothan |

kukri 2 (flank, defensive): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 51d4 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (5, 4) = 12
Aothan focuses on not getting hit, keeping in mind their bruiser's dependency on him to stay on the better team.

Karsk |

Karsk swings at the dwarf again. I think Karsk should be back five feet from stepping back last time to use his lucerne. If positions are correct, he'll step back again, and swing.
Raging Power Attack: 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 13 - 2 = 26

You are right Karsk. I didn't move you back because I thought you would have been out of range. Fixed!
Aothan flurries his kurki attack being more careful not to cut himself then the dwarf.
Leopold fires off a ray of frost, exposing his location. While the ray hits, Ctenmllr resists the chilling effects.
Karsk power attack barely hits Ctenmllr. A majority of his swing damages the dwarf, but he is able to turn away some of the damage.
After the series of attacks from Karsk and Nigel, Ctenmllr is starting to look badly broken. He takes his hand off of the warhammer and simply says.
"I hunger."
He then swings a clawed hand out at Nigel.
Slam vs Nigel: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 211d4 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
The slam just grazes off of Nigel's breast plate.

Karsk tries to pound the mean dwarf to dust!

Nigel Briarthane |

Nigel continues to use the gnome dagger against the dwarf.
"Now that's more like it, Karsk ."
attack, bane, bless, flank : 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 19 for Dmg : 1d3 + 2d6 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + (1, 5) + 4 + 2 + 2 = 17
"Hey stop moving around so much dwarf ."

Leopold Rumblehold |

Seeing the dwarf resist the cold, Leo shouts out in frustration, "Arrrg! This is not my fight!"
He then curls up into a ball and waits for it to be over. Total defense. Or full defense. The full-round one. I always get them confused.

Aothan |

Gah, I was hoping that was enough.
Defensively, the Outsider swings twice again!
kukri 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d4 + 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + (5, 6) + 3 = 18

Aothan misses with his defensive attacks.
Ctenmllr's wounds slowly heal back some of Karsk's attack. The dwarf almost turns to a frenzy as he swings his clawed hand at the barbarian.
Slam vs Karsk: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Dmg: 1d4 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Karsk appears to slow down a bit after such a minor attack. Ctenmllr licks his lips awaiting to see what else the party has to offer.
Party is up!

Nigel gulps as he sees his friend hit by the dwarf, knowing he us running out of his own chances as well.

Karsk |

Don't forget the miss chance from blur.
Karsk swings again, backing up to have some room to work.

Nigel's stab bends Ctenmllr with a burning pain. Smoke appears to steep from the wound and the halfing's dagger.
Karsk then swing down over the double over dwarf, driving his face into the stone floor.
Ctenmllr's body dissipates into a cloud of mist. The mist convenes and swirls before floating out into the darkness.
Combat Over
Ctenmllr leaves behind his full plate, two potions and his warhammer. After the commotion has quieted down, Nigel sees a loose floor stone in the corner. Inside he discovers 2 potions, a wand, a scroll and a journal.

Nigel Briarthane |

"Whew. I hope he is gone for good. I was not liking our odds there. Here Leo, thanks for the dagger. I need to get me one of those once I have some spare cash. Maybe these do-dads from the floorboard will help. Any idea what they are?"

Leopold Rumblehold |

"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear," Leo cries, "I hope this was the right passage. I can't imagine what the wrong passage would have waiting for us."
After collecting his nerves, Leo casts a cantrip over the items.

None of the items are directly evil. They definatly have some ligering effect from being in Ctenmllr's position.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 journal Not magical. Appears to be on dwarven history and weapons. It would probably take an hour or so to read.
Oh and miss chance from before. 20% or lower is good for Karsk.

Aothan |

Here's the thought; I think I literally have to stay within 10ft of our lovely damage source at all times until the duration wears off or we break his enchantment, lest we get a serial halfling murderer for a few days. Good thing I don't sleep.
"Nothing is evil beyond association. I will put bid in on the warhammer, if only to test its properties. I wonder how long the mist man's words will keep effect, but wish not to test it."
Now we have the "Wolf-Pig-Grain" (or whatever the "one boat and 3 things to ferry across, but some will ruin other stuff unattended") riddle, though this time it's "Half-orc, Halfling, Outsider," and its over an acid pit.

Leopold Rumblehold |

Leo nearly breaks down and cries when he realizes there is no way further. "All that. . . for a couple of potions?!"
"I want to go back and get Noggin. We'll see what the consequences are. He could have protected me in a situation like that and I'd rather not be without him again."
Besides, I spent a lot of resources on him. I'm willing to take the risk in bringing him with us even if he can't answer the riddle himself!

Aothan |

If we hock this full plate, we can get about halfway on one Circlet. First, we gotta get outside, but now there's the complication of our dominated friend and the fact that I'm the only thing suppressing it.
"I think that failing the riddle may be far worse in the grand schema. Perhaps we will be able to overcome thing with some kind of magics."
If I mathed right, our difference would be: 4800 - 1000 - 1500 = 2300

It is ironic that for the two of us that spent considerable resources on our animal companions, that we were able to survive at all. We are probably at least 1 level lower APL based on that. I was thinking TPK for sure.
"well, back to the surface then. I want to see how my pet Roc is doing."

Leopold Rumblehold |

"This room had some very powerful magic on it at one time, or contained some powerful magic... I can pick up the residue of it. But no matter, I guess we can head back to check on our animals."

Nigel Briarthane |

"Ok, fair enough Leopold. If this is a dead end, no pun intended, or if it does not get us back to Noggin easier than the way we came in, then I am all for heading back. I miss my pet as well."
While talking he takes a couple hits from the wand.
clw: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8
Nigel will do one last search in the room for any secret passages, then head back down the hallway.

OK. You guys lucked out again. Too much stuff has come up for me to spend time trying to do all the rolls for this funky trap room. I'm sure it would be more fun/agonizing in person, but I'll just chalk it up to something that doesn't translate well over PbP.
After the party makes their way back, they return to a fork in the water filled tunnels once again. They are aware that to the right is the way back toward the sphinx. The way to the left has yet to be explored ...
