All ceilings are 10 feet high. The rooms and corridors have been carved out of—or in some cases, seemingly melted through—solid rock. Murky, standing water covered with floating patches of algae fills several chambers to a depth of at least 1 foot. (difficult terrain) Each door inside the mountain is 8 feet square and made of ironbound oak. Swollen from the general dampness, all the doors are somewhat difficult to open.

Karsk drops his weapon and stands there dumbfounded.

Nigel standing right next to the dwarf, draws his staff sling. Invoking it with holy powers, he swings at the enemy. A burst of energy engnites when he strikes Ctenmillr. While it was a solid blow, the attack appears to be only half as effective as Nigel thought it would be.

    That sounded like a Takei, Oh My, to me.

    Aothan makes his way from the empty room and into the corridor. As he passes by Ctenmillr, the dwarf takes a swing at him!

    Ctenmillr shakes off the aura's effects after he brains Aothan. The archon is able to reach his destination. Aothan slides his kukri in between the joint plates, but is unable to damage the dwarf's resistant skin.

    "Yes, draw closer. I will need new thralls."

    Ctenmillr's muscles flex as he grips the warhammer tightly. He then twirls and swings at Nigel.

    Threnodic Spell is every Heavens Oracle and Enchanter's friend, not that it'd be much help for you right now.

    Thanx for keeping me in line Aothan. I've been using Goblin Cleaver which allows me to Cleave non-adjacent enemies. I made the same mistake during Free RPG day. With the iterative, I would have hit AC 18, which is a miss

    Aothan attacks are unable to break the defenses of the heavily armored dwarf.

    "Ow!" Leo calls out as the dwarf thing nearly cuts through him. "Geeze, what did I do to you?"

    Leo takes a step back and takes out a rope, dropping it on the ground next to him. He then casts a spell.

    DC 16 Spellcraft:

    If it comes near, the rope gets a trip attempt at +8 but the dwarf thing gets +4 CMD because it's aware of it.

    Sucky, I know, but I don't know what else to do at the moment.

    Seeing Karsk already moved and has a large hammer, Nigel will cast weapon of awe and swiftly change his judgement to destruction.

    Karsk's great axe suddenly starts floating in the air beside him. Ignoring the kind jester, Karsk steps back and pulls out his hammer. As he begins to blur, it appears Karsk's vision becomes blurry too, throwing off his swing.

    The rope on the ground thrown by Leo whips out at the dwarf as he closes the distance. Ctenmillr walks by as if he was crossing a puddle of water.

    The dwarf then looks deeply into Karsk's eyes. In a melodic whisper, Ctenmillr simply says, "Join me and you will see the world until the end of time."

    Karsk's Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

    Karsk feels that Ctenmllr is actually an alright guy.

    New Round

    Aothan moves closer to maintain range with Ctenmllr. As he moves into the square, the rope whips out and tries to trip him.

    Tripvine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

    Aothan easily avoids the trip vine and distracts Ctenmllr for Karsk. Karsk tries to shake off the effect of Ctnmllr's request as the archon's heavenly aura surrounds him.

    Karsk's New Will Save: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7

    The floating greataxe drops to the ground, followed by incantations and a momentary glow of a halfling's slingstaff.

    Leo is up. Karsk will "delay" this round.

If that fails in any facet, he will step south and teleport outside to the acid jet area to await the remainder of the carryable (since the dwarf has shown no aptitude for seeing invisible people.) If he passes (as determined by a response to asking him if he's back in control of himself), full defence.
