Wow opened up the page and people have already posted their actions. Little messy but I can live with it, just for future reference and my peace of mind. thanks :)
@Marius. Wow I always like new ideas, so I am gonna so roll with this one. Hmm...I will roll it that it is the same principle as firing a blunderbuss, they have to agile out of the way or take damage 6 plus 1d10 and be knocked prone. :)
[ooc]There are no rules for being run over by a wagon? Odd. Oh and how exactly do you want our combat posts to go? Should we wait until everyone with a higher initiative has posted before we post? Should we wait until you ask us for our action? Should we include stat/skill values in the post or is that clutter? I want to make things easy for you so please let me know. Also please assume I know nothing of the system and be painfully clear. I once ran across the 'woodlice rule' for explaining things. If you explain it to three woodlice and two understand it then you were clear enough. Not critizing at all just trying to keep everything painfully clear.
.Speaking of painful am I only heading for the big guy or is there a chance I can catch some of the small fry 'neath my chariot wheels?

Wow opened up the page and people have already posted their actions. Little messy but I can live with it, just for future reference and my peace of mind. thanks :)
I mistakenly thought the successful attack on Wolfgang was actually on *ME* on round one, so I was trying to retroactively post my parry as a free reaction due to my defensive stance. That's what happens when you post at work in a hurry. Sorry, probably made the 'messy' posting even messier.
As Marius asked, what is your preference for combat posting? Should we wait to be prompted before declaring actions?
@Ottmar, not sure what you're trying to go for here, are you trying to parry for Wolfgang or preemptively parrying for yourself? Cuz you don't roll parrying till I have confirmed a hit :/ sorry not trying to sound like an @$$hole for rulings. Also you still have a half action to take, assuming you wanted to strike at the Ungor. Parrying is a free action but on the enemy's turn.
As I wrote I thought I received damage in the surprise round. I won't be rolling dodges/parries preemptively. Sorry!
So for "Round One" I will draw my dagger (half-action), make a regular attack (half-action), and then have a dagger in my off-hand in case I need to parry. Looks like I'm up so here's my roll on Ungor 2:
WS 45
"Have at you, foul beast!"
1d100 ⇒ 16
Rolling damage
1d10 ⇒ 8

And again a load of posts, I am LOVING how active you guys are :)
noticing some questions so here I am with answers.
@Marius, To answer your question upon combat posting, would prefer if everyone waited until their intiative to post their actions. And yes, posting your characteristic stat is MOST helpful for everyone. thanks :) also to cover your question about the wagon, I am going to rule that the champion is the only one in your path, as trying to run over say the ungors or the gors would lead to your allies also being under the wheels, but to be fair, I will roll a 1d3 for the champion being one and the other 2 being the gors who each have killed a driver. :) 1d3 ⇒ 2 Ok so you have HeartRipper and CHiefie in your path, and both will have to make Agility Tests.
@Ottmar: Thanks for clearing that up, really helps me. also you add your Strength Bonus, SB, to all damage rolls :) so you do 11 damage, not just 8. However, you hit the Gor in the chest, and it has 1 armor point there. also a 4 toughness bonus, which works like damage reduction. Hmm you know what? From now on I am going to use the map system my brother uses in his homebrew :) It will REALLY help clear things up. I am ruling that Brenog and Wolfgang are fighting the 3rd gor and Ungor #1, Ottmar is dueling Ungor #2 while the other 2 are killing NPCs with their Chief. The 4th is of course fighting the elf, Laurenor with Ungor's 3 and 4.
@Brenog: And yes speaking is a free action.
@Wolfgang: Sorry, no bonuses to combat rolls besides charging.
I hope I answered everyone's questions, and I am always willing to answer more.

OK everyone is caught up on damage and thus, time for the mutant Archer! I mean...the beastman archer! >.> <.<
The hooded, horned archer snarls and knocks another arrow to its bowstring, taking aim and then firing at the priest of Sigmar.
40% Hit: 1d100 ⇒ 96
Brother Ottmar, as you know, you cannot parry arrows, so this really is hit or miss. In this case...miss. Badly.
The arrow sails wide and the beastman snarls yet again, then backs up from the caravan, suddenly not so sure this raid was such a good idea. There are warriors among the meat, and they were reaking havoc so far among the gors and ungors.
Tzeentch the Changer of Ways
Ungors
The Ungors all loose brays of either rage or fear, the wounded Ungor being the latter, and the other 3 lash out with their spears. The one fighting Wolfgang sets its hooves and snarls as it drives the spear at the human again, intent on skewering him like a wild boar.
The other two ungors alongside their earless superior charge in beside the gor ingaging the elf, spears darting at his face.
The second Ungor however clutches at his broken ribs a pitiful but murderous look in its yellow eyes, baring its teeth in terror at the warrior-priest
Ungor 1: 1d100 ⇒ 28 Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Ungor 3, Charging (+10%WS):1d100 ⇒ 86
Ungor 4, Charging (+10%WS):1d100 ⇒ 81
Both of the charging Ungors miss the lithe elf, but Wolfgang feels another stab of agony as the beastman's spear sinks into his right thigh painfully.
Tzeentch the Changer of Ways
The Gor champion looses another bellow, then at the frightened cry of its fellow it looks up just in time to spot the horse-drawn wagon bearing down on him. The Champion roars in protest and then attempts to jump nimbly out of the way, as does the Gor who had just finished consuming the human heart.
Gor Agility: 35% 1d100 ⇒ 87
Champion Agility: 34% 1d100 ⇒ 64
Neither of the Beastmen make it far enough and the wagons catch the Gor across the body with a sickening crunch before rolling off it, making the wounded beastman writhe about from the impact on the ground, roaring in pain, its spine shattered.. Wagon Damage: 10 + 6 = 16 Literally, you snapped his spine. He is at 0 Wounds and is Helpless against all other attacks
The Champion is likewise struck, but avoids the full force of the wagon, instead being clipped by the side of the wooden frame, sending him down onto the ground but much less damaged. 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Wow, I really did not think that would work so well! Good idea Marius, props! Although, since the Champion did not fail the check by more than 3 marks (30% more) it does not take the full damage, but still subtaintial damage to his ego all the same! That is going down in my GM occurances book :) Kudos again Marius
Laurenor
As I remember you can sheath and unsheath a weapon at the same time but not draw two weapons at same time
Laurenor grimaces and throws his longbow over his shoulder at the same time unsnaps the latch of leather holding his spear in place on his back. With a thrust he stabs at one of the ungors around him.
34% WS 1d100 ⇒ 78
Brenog Breuner
hmm...Id suggest either diving off and taking some damage, or trying a hard drive check (-20%) to try and regain control. either way ur gonna end up pretty black and blue. For expositions sake, let's all agree not to make a habit of this everyone? Agreed?
Now tat takes away the fun
Tzeentch the Changer of Ways
*shrugs* Nah I don't believe so, this campaign can be really fun for players as it progresses. Inventiveness is very much appreciated, but, for example, I would really rather not have my PC's try and make catapults from stuff lying around or etc when they have no idea how. that's all i ask. Again, ideas for inventive ways to overcome my encounters can be very fun to adapt to as a GM, and I always appreciate players being interested enough in the story to try and adapt to their surroundings. now then, battle continues!

I'd move this type of discussion to the OOC thread. As for the combat, am I up? Will you announce the start of round 2? Thanks!

Pulling back I take measure of the slavering, horned Ungor that is wounded. He is heavily favoring his right side. I take aim and strike again with my warhammer.
Taking a half-action to aim and then make a standard attack on Ungor #2 again.

The Ungor gives a single braying cry before Ottmar's hammer smashes into its collarbone, shattering bone and pulping flesh in a single blow. The foul creature falls backwards, blood bursting from the sudden opening in its flesh, bestial face twisted in fear and surprise.
THe Gor who had just finished slaying the human on the ground roars and then rushes towards the priest of Sigmar, bloody blade raised high and swings it hard at the man's shaven head.
The Gor on the ground roars more, thrashing about uselessly with its spine broken cleanly in two as the runaway wagon continues on its reckless path, the student and wagon driver at its helm.
THe heavily wounded Gor staggers down to almost one knee and swings wildly with its flail at the mercenary who had maimed it so.
THe Gor fighting the elf snarls as the warrior whips out a keen spear and it lifts its mace again, swinging for the nimble little elf with all of its strength.

The Gor charging Ottmar snarls in satisfaction as the axe wounds the priest of Sigmar.
Based on my reading of the rules I have a reaction and will use it now. Let me know if I misread.
The feral beast stinking of blood and sweat bears down upon me. Its axe flashes and I try to block it with my dagger.

The Ungor, seeing one of their own fall to the Sigmarite Priest's hammer, roars in rage and stabs at the noble who had just killed his superior, not out of compassion felt for the Gor, but a hope that the Chaos gods would recognize its bloody might if he slew this human and tasted his heart-meat.

Wow that big beast is buff! 21wounds and still up! AAAiiieeee!
Marius will make a valiant yet doomed attempt to turn the cart.
In the unlikely event I can effect the horses mad career I will attempt to aim them in the direction of the elf. A few tons of horseflesh and wood might pull some of the pressure off.
Unskilled drive attempt 1d100 ⇒ 99
Oh dear. Are there critical fumbles in this game?

Lol Marius its a nice thought but im like way back in the woods fighting so no way that a wagon and the horses would go in there. but ty :) Also Marius whenever you take damage if you have armor in that location you take that much armor off then whatever your toughness bon us is which for beastmen is I think 4 you take 4 damage off the total number of damage so hes not that banged up lol they tough
Brenog Breuner
I have dodge blow that count for something? The damage was 15 by the way I have been forgetting to add my talent bonus damage of +1 to melee ^^ and what about strike to stun lol totally forgot I had it ><

Through a stroke of dark favor of his God, the Champion survives Brenog's brutal blow and he eyes the mercenary in sudden ire and utter fury. WIth a roar of deafening intensity it crashes into him with both its axe and its huge curling ram's horns.

No Brenog, there is no way to avoid ranged attacks. Also being in melee only incurs a -20% BS to hit. Please update your wounds to match the negatives I am sure you are now in. Also, I see no where in the main core rulebook where you can aim for a specific part of the body, so I am going to have to ask you cease doing so. I see the reasoning, but that is WHY i have a "To Hit" Chart. Not wanting to cramp your style, but the only AIM action in the game is to take a +10% to one attack in melee or ranged, and you still have to see WHERE you hit them. Also, to explain why the Beast is not dead, just like you, Bosses in my game have FP too, which they may use to survive especially deadly blows. If you wish to do this as well Brenog, you reduce your FP by 1 and are reduced to 1 W. The next time you do this however, you will be knocked unconcious instead of killed.
Brenog Breuner
Will do so, oh great changer of ways xD still trying to remember or the ups and downs of this ^^ again after 5+years of not playing this system hahaha will do as ye command ^^ I still have parry and dodge blow to escape the boss attack so I think only the archer has given me 11 damage so far. Well my previous campaign a long time ago we could do this since it is in the difficulty to hit chart but I will abide by your rulings ^^

Having deflected the axe enough to avoid its blow, I circle the Gor slightly, bide my time for a moment, and look for an opening. Seeing the unholy monster bare its fangs at me, I shout at it, "Feel my wrath!"

The Gor fighting Ottmar gives a roar of a challenge and cleaves its foul blade at the man's shaved head again, cracked lips peeled back to reveal wolf-like fangs and a horribly barbed purple tongue.
The Gor upon the ground again gives a bellow of agony and attempts to pull itself towards the nearest enemy but due to the agonizing pain of its snapped spinal cord, its arms give out before it gets a foot away from where it fell. Blood flies from its stained fangs as it roars out in exasperation in its foul tongue.
The Gor fighting the elf takes his spear in his chest and growls out a besital snarl then swings his mace again.

The Earless Gor's mace sails within an inch of Laurenor's face then away again and impacting against a nearby tree, cracking the bark and producing a sudden burst of sap as it roars in anger.

Wolfgang's turn. There is no Beastmen close to you, but you may easily move to either attack the archer or finish off the crippled one, or help Ottmar kill his :) Also, if I could have you roll parries when I have confirmed a hit on you, it'd help me a little more make the combat flow. you'll retain your Fortune Point since no one attacked you this turn, and you can now post your action.
Brenog Breuner
Actually if you refer to Wolfgang's spoiler he attacks the nearest target interpret that as you will and unfortunately he misses with his 47 hit thus his turn would be over. His post was for this round So if you wanted to it would then go over to Brenog's turn
Well I'll post my action tomorrow since I must go put my 2 year old to sleep
