The half-dragon stamps his foot, hard on the deck before pivoting and lashing out in a sweeping arc. Cursing as Kolm stands his ground, he brings the chain back for a second pass, this time finding better results. He then brings the chain high and attempts to hammer the prone dwarf with heavy blows.

Opening with a 2 :P At least I managed to get you on the way down.
I hope the weather didn't cause you too many other problems?

Meredian (and presumably pinky) wander the market and purchase an inordinate amount of various fruit. We may possibly purchase a few other things depending on what strikes our fancy. We'll then proceed to the nicest inn and proceed to eat, drink, and be merry. I'm not sure whom else is joining us. I would think Jade since she and pinky have a repoire. (Jade's traveling or something IRL, right?)

Adin makes his way to the shipyard in the Jawbone to check out any new things that he could add to the ship. He also finds out if their are any specialist that he could call on to work on the silver sin at some point. Afterwards he goes to the Treasure Cove inn also in the Jawbone, it was exclusive to selected clients.
Could you let me know about Adins payment, also about the class change from my e-mail.

You make your way into the more central area of the market when suddenly all the auras you were able to see wink out.

"That's interesting." Meredian says to no one in particular. He then takes a couple steps back to just before where the auras winked out. Then a few back in. Repeating as needed.

As I said earlier Karsa would have accompanied Meridian, Pinky and possibly Jade and Kolm.
Karsa turns from idly watching the busy market and looks to Meridian, "What in the Abyss are you doing? I can tolerate wandering the market interminably but can we at least keep moving?"

As I said earlier Karsa would have accompanied Meridian, Pinky and possibly Jade and Kolm.Karsa turns from idly watching the busy market and looks to Meridian, "What in the Abyss are you doing? I can tolerate wandering the market interminably but can we at least keep moving?"
Speaking to Karsa and whomever else might be present,
"My apologies. I was looking around at magic auras, as I do, and the strangest thing happened. They all winked out at the same moment. I assume it's some sort of spell effect. I'm trying to determine what."| Meredian Adriatnaic |
Karsa slowly looks around the market before speaking in a low voice, "Perhaps something to allow certain high profile vendors more discretion? Does your other magic function?"
Meredian will test to see if his flight works withing the strange field.

"I cant say for certain, but there seems to be a field that supresses certain magics. Divination and illusion i would guess."
meridian looks around the market for someone who sells "knowledge wares" such as books or scrolls and ask them about the field.
| Karsa Orlong |
Karsa looks wary, "While I must say it's nice to know for certain there are no tricks within, I'm not sure I like the idea of someone with the power to provide such security. Still, perhaps we could barter for similar protection against whoever is tracking our movements? The captain certainly seems to have no shortage of gold at the moment..."

"I'm sure our fair Captain has made his fair share of enemies and I have even less of a doubt that there is a massive treasure store somewhere on his ship. However, this is one of his regular ports. It would be foolish to make enemies here, especially one's powerful enough to create a magic nullifying effect such as this."Meredian thinks for a moment"You know, I don't know if my argument is for or against the fact that the Captain has made enemies here." Meredian Smirks.

I've got my internet back, but I'm having trouble actually getting time to do anything. Karsa, it hasn't affected me too badly. There's still a bunch to clean up, but no injuries to me or those around me.

The deck shakes considerably as Kolm hits the boards.
Kolm activates his boots as a free action.
Attack :1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
Damage :1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Kolm gets a hit on Karsa, but it doesn't do much.
"I haven't seen a bar yet. If you guys don't mind, Ah'll just start drinkin' here."
Kolm gets out his stein, and it fills with beer. Unless it is suprressed. :(

Sense I do have the book covering the city I will give you some info. Their are plenty of taverns, most around the docks (its a pirate port after all) but also some in other parts of the city. Here are the top ten drinks of Ilizmagorti but not at all their complete list.
Bilgewater Surprise (1 cp): A favorite of down-ontheir- luck gamblers and sailors trying to stretch their last copper, made from the dregs of other drinks and whatever is in the barman’s rag.
Damsel in Distress (6 sp): Sparkling white wine and pomegranate juice.
Dark and Stormy (2 sp): A cocktail made with dark rum and ginger beer with a slice of lime.
Half a Doubloon (5 sp): Dark rum, orange liqueur, and apple juice.
Island Dream (1 gp): An island dream is a fruity absinthe cocktail.
Kiss of the Mantis (1 gp): This spicy drink tastes much like vodka, tomatoes, pepper, and some other kind of vegetable.
Rusty Cutlass (8 cp): Whiskey mixed with native honey and herb liqueur.
Three Salts and a Dog (4 sp): Whiskey, brandy, tequila, and rum, served in a glass with a salted rim.
Three Sheets (6 cp): A drink made from at least three different rums (also called an “ill wind”).
Whore’s Breakfast (1 sp): A mug of ale with a shot of rum dropped inside, garnished with a tomato wedge.

Glad you're doing alright.
If he stood up however, then his attack bonus should be higher I think and Karsa will get an attack of opportunity.
Just not sure on the specifics but I would imagine you're just short on time at the moment. Get back to me when you have a little more breathing room.

Does my disguise self stay up or do I look like a drow now?
Walking up to the nearest "knowledge" booth (book seller, scroll seller, etc. Preferably magic wares of some kind.)
Mer will browse the wares a moment then pick something up to examine it closer
To the shop keep In common:"Pardon me, sir. You have some interesting wares, but I find myself a bit too distracted to give your wares my full concentration. Perhaps you could answer a question so that I might be better able to give your wares the attention they deserve." Mer says smiling and nodding slightly. Assuming the shop keeper answers in the positive some way
"I am an arcanist obviously." Motioning himself as if it were plainly obvious "When I walked over to this part of the town some of my magics were disrupted. It was as if this entire area has some kind of enchantment on it. Can you tell me anything about that?"

Did Kolm stand as a move action this round, giving him a better attack or did he stay down, giving him a full attack?
Also, don't forget to add in the -2 from being shaken after Karsa's hit. Looking at it I think my 36 would leave you shaken for 3 rounds total?
| Karsa Orlong |
"Well Placed, I'll need to treat your weapon with a little more respect it seems."
Karsa draws from his boots again and quickly sweeps the dwarf from his feet once more, his chain catching Kolm again on the way down before smashing him savagely upon landing.

I'm here. I've been exploring magic field thing. Been on vacation, but I got back in today. ALso, waiting on an answer to the quoted question. I bolded it also.
