Seeing no wound but feeling mightily drained, "What in the blazes was that?!" he asks, glaring at the demon and unloading a plethora of attacks upon it.

Stupid autocorrect. It was suppose to be black bolts and the spell is enervation!
Morgrym lashes out at the derakni before him hits 1 times out of the three. He is certain that another blow would have landed it if were not for the drained feeling he got when that black 'boot' kicked him squarely in the rear. The good news is though that his weapon bypassed the DR thanks to him raging.

Meta moment: I have restoration prepared. Do you want me to cast it now or wait for a pause in the battle to restore your levels? And if you want it now, who's first?
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
Nasira will delay on casting restoration and I don't want to steal Snow's thunder since she's the one that made the spellcraft check to identify the spell. So I guess my action is..
"What foul magic is that? Did you see those black beams? Snow, do you know what that was?"
Snow.
"Enervation!" Snow calls. "There's a necromancer here somewhere."
A bit unclear on where the spell came from.
Snow attempts to illuminate the source of the magic.
Glitterdust where I think the spell came from if its in this room - if not... then I'll wait for everyone else to go.

Metagame, I suspect two more derakni, possibly on either side of the door behind the boys. The description was a bit vague because we were not in position to see well.

Garith strikes the downed Derakni twice killing it leaving only the invisible stalker as the remaining creature visible in the room.
As soon as the demon dies though 2 more black bolts fly out of the western wall to strike at Morgrym and Garith.
enervation vs Garith 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19 touch for 1d4 ⇒ 4 negative levels
enervation vs Morgrym 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32 touch for 1d4 ⇒ 2 negative levels
good guys up

'But you can't cast through a wall... unless...' Snow focuses hard on the wall, trying to determine if it is an illusion.
Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Unable to tell she hurries towards the wall and reaches out to touch it.
Zeriax
Don't think I acted last round - apologies for that... But since no more bad guys seem to be in sight, Zeriax is going to follow Snow's lead and try to discern where those attacks may be coming from...
Will: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
Zeriax, the invisible stalker is wearing a fashionable patina of glitterdust courtesy of Snow., so you should be able to target it if you so choose.
Does our redeemed succubus ally have true seeing, by chance?
Sir Garith Mordrand

Ugh, whatever this magic is, it is powerfully dark Morgrym. Assistance would be appreciated Gareth groans...
Gonna wait to post but remember to actually post this time... 7 neg levels for me, 6 for Morgrym. I'll poke the Stalker if it's up after Z makes it rain
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
Nasira uses her divine reach to cast restoration on Garith. "You will have to find the source of this dark magic or retreat, warrior!"
Zeriax

True! Thanks Nasira :D

Morgrym Ironfist
Feeling even weaker, "Blast! You're not kiddin', Garith. No way we can take much more of this. Time ta back away." And Morgrym does just that, figuring maybe where he's standing has something to do with it seeing how he sees no enemy nearby.
Backed up about 10 or so feet. I'm thinking Zeriax will finish it off?
DM Variel
Snow moves up to inspect the wall and finds it seems perfectly solid. Zeriax meanwhile plunks the invisible stalker 3 times killing it.
Zeriax you would need to interact with it before you can make the will save. However I will throw you all a bone and open it up for you to see what lies beneath.
Arueshalae does not have true seeing sorry but she calls out to you all It must be similar to the illusion that hid the entrance to this area. A false wall cleverly concealed.
Nasira starts to cast restoration to remove the negative levels to Garith or Morgrym but it is going to take some time (round 1 of 3).
Garith and Morgrym can act accordingly still
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
Thank you, I failed to take that into account. She is casting it on Garith first.
"A false wall with arrow slits, of a sort, so they can cast their rays through it. Retreat out of that room, my friends, so we can make a plan. Sheer force isn't the order of the day this time."
Morgrym Ironfist
Morgrym looks around but knows he's got to get out of there and does, heading back through the doors towards Nasira and the others. "Blast! How are we suppose ta bloody resist that kind of attack?! I swear I'm gonna bash 'em into nothin' for this," he vows, furious.

"We heal you up first. They seem to be hiding behind a door or a wall with something like a castles arrow slits. Once you are healed, we either figure out how to open the door or we open the wall itself. I have no magic that would do such a thing, but you," she points at his hammer, "do."
Morgrym Ironfist
Reluctantly nodding in agreement, Morgrym's fury dissipates. "Alright. Probably best. Stupid demons and their life stealing abilities. Blasted cheaters," he grumbles under his breath.
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
I am already casting it on Garith, which will take two more rounds. I can cast it again for Morgrym with a mythic point.
DM Variel
For a FINAL blast before they are out of their spell like abilities the derakni fire the pair of black bolts. One of them having to move out of the hidden corridor to continue to attack Morgrym.

Morgrym nearly falls to a knee, barely able to stand. With fury in his eyes as he looks up toward the demon, Well if I'm goin' down, I'm goin' down swingin'! The dwarf, with what little strength he has left, moves in for what looks to be his final battle.

Nasira releases an exasperated sigh, thinking Sarenrae, watch over fools, children, and wild dwarves!
Zeriax
So guys, what is the plan?
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
The boys have engaged one in combat. I’m 2/3 done with restoring Garith’s levels. I say, despite Nasira’s complaining, our archers should focus fire on the one we’ve damaged.
Zeriax
Anyone has rolled a Knowledge for these guys? (Apologies if I missed it...)
Understanding the urgency of the situation, Zeriax focuses on his monk training, unleashing as many arrows as he can on their opponents.
Using Cold Iron arrows, focusing the one I can see, in front of Morgrym. Spent one Ki for an additional attack during a flurry.

Variel, I believe my Weapon (Mythic) counts as Good, or...?
DM Variel
That is annoying my post from 3 days ago never went through.AARGGHHHH.
With a flurry of furious arrows and a blast of righteous energy Zeriax and Snow destroy one of the demons. The last demon, bereft of its energy drain attacks flails harmlessly at Garith before being taken out by the others as well. Nasira cures Garith and Morgrym of their negative energy levels as the others search the hidden doorway. The doorway leads to a tunnel that extends 500ft away to another ravine. Coming back to report you realize that you have but 1 remaining room left in front of you and a couple in the back of the hideout. However you can tell by the ornate and strong door that this is the leader of the conclave.
Heads up everyone. Almost a TPK when I ran this IRL. However they went into with no one having more than 2 surges left.
Morgrym Ironfist
As Nasira returns life back to the dwarf, "Thanks, lass. I've got ta find some way ta counter that bit o' magic. Ya literally feel yer life drain from ya and it leaves nary a scratch. Blasted demons." The dwarf takes a few moments to recover from his fatigue as he works some of the kinks out.
Hp's 132/189; Rage (18/37); Mythic: 7/11 used. Man, just barely over 2.
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
Nasira frowns, considering the challenge that no doubt awaits. ”I have expended much of my goddess’ blessings this day, my friends. I may not be able to provide much beyond basic healing until tomorrow.”
She moves back by a wall and sinks into a seated position. Taking a holy symbol from her pouch, she focuses on it as she prays for the Dawnflower’s protection once more.
Purely flavor; there’s no mechanical benefit from this action.
Once she is ready, she smoothly rises and takes a deep breath. ”I am ready, my friends. As you will.”
Morgrym Ironfist
"We'll take whatever ya got, lass," he responds to Nasira, nodding, He then looks to the others. "You lot ready ta manage what lies behind this door? Just say the word and I'll be more than glad ta move in and kill whatever lies behind," he states as a matter of fact.
Snow.
"I'll try to shut down whatever magics I can." Snow offers, "The rest of you will have to stop the caster physically."
Do we know its a worm that walks? I've lost track of what we do/don't know. If so then Snow will explain whatever she knows about it first.
Nasira Yusra Abujamal
At this time, I'm not planning to cast any preparatory spells.
Morgrym Ironfist
Before they move in, Morgrym downs a few of his potions to help heal some of his wounds.

Anybody need potions? I got 6 CMW's left. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em, folks! :)
Snow.
Snow taps Garith and Morgrym on the shoulder, before frowning and beginning to glow a dazzling white. Just before the door opens the light fades and the elf has vanished entirely!
Fly on Garith and Morgrym. Mythic (Augmented) Invisibility on self. I'm now basically undetectable for anything short of true seeing. No other buffs for now.
DM Variel
Opening the door you see...
A seven-armed rune is inscribed in a circle of iron on the floor
of this large room. Black candles sputter here and there around
the circle’s outer ring. Several cabinets and bookshelves filled
with scrolls, tomes, and strange objects sit against the northern,
eastern, and southern walls, along with a writing desk. To the
southwest is a stone sarcophagus, and a flight of stairs leads
down to a smaller cave-like hollow to the west. What appear to
be dead, finger-length worms—some shriveled and some still
slimy—are scattered throughout the room and its furnishings.
Just past the floor rune you see your target, a hideous creature composed of swarms or rotting diseased worms in a humanoid shape.
