I keep hoping she has true seeing or see invisibility thanks to her demonic nature.

I could flame strike the room, but it will cost a mythic point and they are in short supply, so I'd rather be certain there's a target present when I do it. And spell resistance is a thing, anyway. Delaying.

You are pretty sure that it was an improved invisibility spell but there were no components to the spell that you could see to make the check easier.

Next round I'm gonna use my SLA to See Invisibility, and most likely move just out of LoS, so hopefully on the other round I can 5' and unleash.


Zeriax unloads with 4 shots. Thankfully he acted prior to Xanthir and caught him flat footed. As such 3 of the attacks hit when otherwise only 1would have. Still the damage was greatly reduced. And to the amazement of the group the worms seem to heal themselves soon after being punctured by the arrows.

29 damage dealt after dr. Heals 16 from fast healing leaving him at 13 damage this round.

If you are using a mythic point Nasira invisibility purge would work.

Morgrym holds his action till the worm that walks shows himself. Likewise Snow readies to cast a spell should their enemy make the mistake of leaving himself vulnerable for a moment.

Garith just manages to keep himself from almost death as he resists the ray that struck him. He then activates his shield to provide a shining bulwark protecting the others from Xanthir Vang.

Round 2

Zeriax uses his see invisibility ability to identify the location of Xanthir Vang. Upon such a declaration Snow's readied action goes off and she casts glitterdust upon Xanthir.

Arueshalae comes out of delay to fire upon Xanthir 3 times and spends a mythic point as well to act.

Xanthis turn 2
Countering the effects of the glitterdust Xanthir moves to the corner of the room and casts a spell from the safety of the ceiling 20ft above Morgym and Garith. The room fills with a cloying noxious vapor requiring Morgrym and Garith to each make fort saves at DC24 or take d4 con damage.

To make matters worse the casters in the group realize that this is no ordinary cloudkill spell. Indeed it is mythically enhanced to allow it to be moved upon command by Xanthir and it is more dangerous.

There ya are ya blasted demon. Morgrym thinks to himself as he holds his breath and takes off in flight straight for the creature, flying into a rage as he does. Score one for mythic sustenance!

Morgrym flies through the cloud aiming at where he last saw the enemy. However the cloud is thick and he loses sight of him. Suddenly he bursts through the cloud and sees the shimmering form of Xanthir before him. Morgrym treis to deliver a quick blow with his earthbreaker but the attack misses the flying Xanthir Vang!

Snow breathes deeply and blows out. The bracing chill of her breath, seemingly appearing from nowhere, infusing unnatural vigor into her companions limbs as Snow floats gently into the air.

Mythic Haste. You get an extra move action every turn plus other normal benefits. Added movement is now +50ft.

The light surrounding her flickers for a moment and then Snow is back in position again.

Nasira casts, touching each of her friends to relay the benefits of a life bubble to counteract the cloudkill.

With faith's reach, I can reach everyone but probably cannot see our flying rager, who doesn't seem to care about inhaled toxins, anyway. The spell grants 22 hours of protection, which she will divide up relatively equally among the companions, maybe four hours for everyone, six for herself?


Snow hastes all that she can target (can you see in the fog to affect Garith?) and then spends another mythic point surreptitiously to be able to counter the next spell that she can see Xanthir cast.

Nasira likewise casts a spell but this time to protect the party from all form of inhaled toxins freeing the party up to move inside the cloud. Those that were inside it previously were still affected however.

Zeriax understands the urgency of the situation, but he knows also they need every advantage they can get, so takes a few seconds to study his opponent further.

Then the monk focuses on his innate magical powers to boost the damage from Whisperwind, the mighty Bow.

And calling on his mythical energies, he unleashes a single, powerful shot.

Garith swings multiple times with Radiance and his trusty shield hoping to penetrate the worm that walks defenses. However even with all of the attacks directed at it all of them miss.

Zeriax has better luck however and places a solid shot directly into the chest of the creature. Xanthir felt the blow but shrugged it off as only half of the damage went through into him.

Arushalae wants to help out as well but with the cloud affecting her vision she cant see Xanthir Vang through it. Cursing she moves closer to get a better shot once the cloud disappears.

Xanthir, having already cast telekinesis, tries to grapple Zeriax with it as a move action.

Morgrym flails at Xanthir with all for all of his might but not a single blow is able to bypass his defenses. Still some good must have come from distracting the worm that walks as 2 of Zeriax's shots and his mythic attack all connect with solid effect.

15+16+34=65 damage from Zeriax this round. Nice and a new target!

What is the visibility situation in the room currently? Nasira is basically delaying unless someone is badly wounded, which she should be able to learn via her active status spell. However, I don’t know if she can see into the room.

Depends on the attributes of the legendary item.since you have unyielding it doubles the hardness and triples the hp. That still means it can take damage and thus possibly destroyed. The problem is with it being a bow it does not have that good of hp or hardness. Thankfully you made your save so it is just broken not destroyed.

Morgyrm wiffs with his aoo and then flies up to attack Xanthir and misses yet again (0 for 5?!!?!)! Zeriax continues to fire even with a broken bow. The sheer number of attacks he is unloading allows him to hit 1 time normally and with some extra effort he mythically hits again as well sending many more of the worms flying away from Xanthir's body. Xanthir looks a bit worried now as over half of his corporeal form is pulverized from arrow shots and a large warhammer!

Nice job so far everyone. You are doing much better than my table top group. Another 2-3 rounds at this rate and you will have him gone!

Xanthir uses an ability to quickly step back away from the party as a free action (dimensional steps). Once in a position of safety in the cloudkill spell and covered from sight and casts a potent spell of protection keeping all creatures at bay.

Repulsion spell dc 25 to move closer to Xanthir.

He then uses his move action with his telekinesis spell to activate a small metal cat sized object in the room. From a distance away the ground shudders a bit as something large and heavy thuds onto the ground from the direction of the hidden passageway.
