Opens the oor proves an easy task as the group prepares to enter into the room with the chanting. A small dais of steps descends into this oddly shaped chamber, while more stairs lead to the northwest and southeast. Lit candles surround the circle of arcane purpose scribed on the floor. Overhead, the ceiling rises nearly forty feet. A large crystal hangs overhead from a heavy chain, pulsing in the reflected light. Around the room a half dozen creatures you recognize as schirs face in towards the center of the circle they create. In the center a demon spawn Tiefling leads the chanting. As the door opens though she smiles at you. I was expecting you. Although I was hoping it would be a little longer. Another 6 hours and the ritual would have been complete. Now I must finish you myself.

The ritual looks to have conjuration elements tied to it. Alamringly the schirs who are not known for much spellcasting seem to be providing the focus. This leads you to believe that the tiefling is using them to create a combination effect. The first and most destructive is a earthquake spell centered on the Citadel. In addition she seems to also be conjuring a horizontal gate to allow all of the destruction to fall through into the abyss. Not only is she going to level Drezen but might remove it entirely from Golarion. Ritual magic is intense but it has power!
I am sure Morgrym will volunteer to be part of the suicide mission. He only has 3 more times to be almost killed to tie the record.
The invisible wall is a wall of force. You will realize that once walking into it.

So'rien then casts within the magical weave and draws forth a bit of shadowstuff and places it in his chest. He takes a step and disappears into the shadows appearing again in another shadow beyond the transparent wall.

The DD caster specifically can take no further action after the casting, but I think the rules are silent regarding the passengers. We have always ruled that the passengers are free to act.

Yes those that have not acted still could after being DD over. However Maelchar acted already to initiate the realization that there was a wall there already. Thus Pakak, So'rien and Maelchar can not act further. Since you are CL9 then between Pakak and So'rien you can get everyone over the wall. I just need to know where exactly.
Based on the quick layout I made Pakak would take Morgrym, Garith and Maelchar while So'rien would take Zeriax and Nasira.

Zeriax it is late and I know I am missing something but how are you getting +14 +3 to damage? Your profile says +8. you dod not get the evil outsider bonus as tieflings are native outsiders. Just let me know. Thanks.
Zeriax unloads on the teifling caster only to find that his 1 and 3rd attacks hit an invisible barrier blocking the impact of the arrows. The 2nd and 4th shots though managed to get around the defenses to draw first blood.

Hmmmm, ok. I was factoring the +2 from favored enemy since I accountted her as demon spawn, and forgot that is just a specific racial heritage, and I was just going with what Herolab says :P
So, for some math on damage bonuses: +2 [Bow] +1 [Point Blank] +3 [STR] +6 [Deadly Aim (M)] +2 [Weapon Specialization (Longbow)] = +14 +2 [Favored Enemy] = +16
It is a little off due to Favored Enemy and... Something else... I'll need to check HL once I am home tonight.

Morgrym steps up to the schir and delivers a first blow that rocks the demon almost killing it. The second blow comes along and the swaying demon manages to avoid being knocked out of this world by luck.
Nasira fires a bolt of fire at the tiefling only to see the damage be absorbed by some sort of fire shield that springs up in front of her.
Garith steps up to unload on the nearest schir as well bring Radiance around and his shield.

Wow that was pathetic on my part...
Pakak wards the group as So'rien manages to get rid of the cloud causing them all such problems. Zeriax takes ample use of the cleared vision to strikethe caster 4 times and once critically. the resulting impact of the 4 arrows that bypass the mage armor, shield, fire shield, cat's grace and +2 deflection bonus leaves the tiefling a bloody and dying wreck on the ground.
Garith was able to hit the 2 schirs charging him with his elongated reach but not enough damage was done to put them down. With a few quick slashes and a powerful thrust of his shield another schir goes down in a heap leaving 2 injured on Garith and 2 more on Morgrym. (the bashed one was the weakest already. You did kill it though to remove the threat.)
My bad so will let Morgrym still go and update the schirs tomorrow.
