According to the map getting large may cause some complications for the ooze and Periel... Anyway:
Ashara slips near Periel and converts one of her spells into a burst of healing energy determined to save the paladin from the acid burning his flesh.

if my math is correct 10 base +7 BAB +7 Str -1 Dex +0 Size = 23, the ooze is a large creature as well, though if I am wrong, or if someone knows something else please tell me

the size bonus to large is 0, to medium is -1, and both you and the slime is large

The map does not make sense then
GM Sapphire Fox

the ooze can compress to fit in the area with out a penalty, the ceiling is high enough through the dungeon that while grappled Periel can fit from how the ooze holds, however once the ooze lets go of him, a str check will be needed to work his way into the hallway, and sadly I did miss that when he went large, so instead of going back then I am doing it this way, dies that clear it up a bit more?

Hydris once again lets loose a flurry of arrows.
"Hang on Periel!" Hydris shouts.
Blessed longbow: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 1 + 1 = 27

Val leaves the flaming sphere sitting on top of the ooze.
reflex DC 19 to avoid: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3) = 7
And continues to send small snakes of black and white force slamming into the creature.

Mykel Therinor

Nicely done, Periel. I couldn't get in there to bring my blade to bear...and I went the opposite way to start...sorry about that. Mykel says sheepishly.
Valandil Anwamanë
|
"It was a formidable creature" agrees Valandil.
"This place seems a veritable death trap of such things."
GM Sapphire Fox
|
so as the giant ooze dissolves away and as you are healing and resting, there is a Katana that seems to be undamaged by the acid, unlike the majority of Hydris' arrows, that is left in its spot
Periel the Pure
|
Moving forward Periel claims his old friend. "My mentor used to say, in adamant we trust. Or whoever said that a steel weapin is only as good as its wielder, has never used the black metal."

Valandil Anwamanë

Valadil follows the others into the room, also searching about for magical auras. After a moment he pauses to examine the obviously very special katana.
"What do you sence Ashara?" he asks
"Could this be the blade we are looking for?"
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
spellcraft to id katana: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34
Mykel Therinor
|
Mykel looks at the blade. This is one of the blades commonly used by warriors from Tien...katanas. Very well manufactured....I think most dwarven craftsmen woykd be jealous of this work. Simply exquisite!
Hydris Bane
|
Hydris shrugs and then thinks better of it and casts detect psychic significance on the katana.
Periel the Pure
|
Isn´t that Periels weapon he dropped when he got grappeled? Periel is half Tien and used an adamantine katana most the time? Only dropped it because you need a small weapon if grappeled. If not I am mistaken."
Valandil Anwamanë
|
Valandil sends his lights waltzing down the eastern passage.
Calypso Nyx
|
Calypso laughs hysterically at Periel's joke about trusting in adamantine.
In fact, she continues to laugh at it as they make their way down the eastern passage, perhaps a little too loudly.
"That was such a funny mentor!" she cries, holding her side.

ignoring the room to the south, you go east, and continue down a hallway to a room
This chamber shows evidence of several triggered and disabled
traps. A heavy steel door seals a passageway to the south. Dwarves originally had several mechanical and magical traps of the highest quality in this room to protect their vault beyond. in the millennia since they built the structure, looters have triggered or disabled the traps.
