[Day 2 - Bloody Hour]

@Ben Sandlock:

You slack off and take a look around the crew quarters, you find just the mess that was made earlier from the fight. you hear from behind you

"best not be slacking off too much mate, before the firstmate finds out, from what I hear you already have a beating coming down tonight anyhow"
When you turn around you see Sandra talking to you.

---
During Bloody hour the first thing that you hear is the following

"Get that Damn Cleric up here, where is that blasted Red haired cleric?"
As Sandra walks to the front of the ship near the mast Plugg Pulls her near her and whispers something in her ear.
"The Following people today are Getting lashes for Fighting and Slacking. for a total of 6 lashes each. The Blonde Halfling, Monkey Boy, The Rat man, The Bloody Dwarf, Mr Fancy Pants, The Witch."
Sandra elbows him in the gut.
"Jape,and Rattsberger (pirate 3),
"Heal them wench" Plugg elbows Sandra this time

During the whole process you watch Plugg and Scourge laugh and Cackle with joy doing this to everyone. You can tell that they are enjoying it.

[Day 2 - Night]

After the Rum has been passed out you all hear a voice yelling.
"Plugg You Coward! Face me. Come on Face me and fight me you arse" Looking around you spot a face that no one has seen here. He has a very muscular body with a very large upper chest and arms. He wears no shirt but a single piece of scale mail over his right arm. Every place else is uncovered. His shorts are covered in mud and tar and other things.
Plugg stands up from the dice game he was playing and looks at the guy. "What's your problem? Brutie? lost yer hammer again? want to take me on one more time you ulgy mug?"

Reactions?? ( night time actions will occur after this )

Thanks for the warning. Ben says to Sandara. This won't be the first time I have whipped, probably won't be the last either. Say you wouldn't happen to have a set of picks (thieves tools) I could borrow for a day or two would you?

Even slacking off most of the day Ben is near exhausted by bloody hour and when his name is called he just wearily shakes his head. Ben strips off his jacket and shirt revealing back and shoulders already crisscrossed by lash scars.
Would you mind holding these for me love? He asks Rosie Cusswell with a wink and a smile.
As they are tying him to the mast Ben calls to Plugg This isn't really about the fight this morning is it. This is about what I did with your mother in Port Peril isn't it. The first lash feels like fire across his back. Haven't felt that in a while Ben thinks as he hisses through his teeth from the pain.
Mistress Scourge! I know why your angry with me. Plugg's mother told you my "harpoon" was bigger than yours didn't she? Scourge's whip cracks again and another line of fire traces across Ben's back.
Gah! Alright that time was a little better lassie. I actually felt that one.
Oh good. I won't have to feel the next four. Ben thinks as he begins to sink into unconsciousness. A surge of energy and a splash of seawater jerk him back into consciousness and he looks up to see Sandara give him an apologetic smile. The third and fourth lashes are more sound than substance and Ben barely feels the whip.
Your losing your touch Lassie! Ben calls to Scourge. Your not following through with your wrist enough. Gah! Ben screams as the fifth lash cuts his back.
Okay, you've got it figured out now. Well done. Ben pants as leans against the mast. Ben screams again as the sixth lash leaves a trail of fire across his back then slumps unconscious.
Another bucket of seawater brings consciousness back and Ben finds himself lying face down on the deck. He wearily drags himself to his feet then goes in search of Rosie Cusswell and his clothing. So, how did I do? He asks as he retrieves his clothing from the girl.

Ben has to force himself to eat the evening meal, when the rum is brought around he surreptitiously dumps it over the side. He is just sitting leaned against a coil of rope feeling drained when he hears the big man's challenge. He again drags himself to his feet and moves to where he can get a better view. This might be interesting he says to no one inparticular as he watches Plugg square off with the big man.

The Large man roars in anger, and spits into Pluggs face.

"Don't be a fool man you've gotten my hammer and my body at this point."

to hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Swinging widely Brutis misses Plugg.

Snapping his fingers a gang full of pirates grab the large man and drag him down to the deck.

"You're the Captains, not mind, because if you were mine you wouldn't be here.".... "Lock him up"

2 rounds before he get's fully shackled. anyone want to taken an action ?

Male Ratfolk Alchemist 1

Risam felt the need to act, after all he had been lashed the most why not.

"Hey! Here I thought the Captain needed every hand. Now your locking one up, a pretty strong one, to spend his time on his arse and sleep like a babe. Don't that seem wrong, you yourself said the man belongs to the Captain, not you. So may the Captain not find it presumptuous of you to be locking up his property when he would like to be using it. Seems like your reaching Plugg, Captain may not like that at all. May just cut off that which reaches, so everyone knows their place. Or maybe just those that forget their place. Hmmmmm

He looks at the pirates holding the big man. He had no doubt at least some knew better then to side with Plugg against the Captain or that Plugg would not think twice of tossing them to the Captain to take the blame for overstepping his duties.

Male Vanara Druid (Storm) 1 HP 10 / 10; AC 17/13/14; F+3/R+3/W+7; Init +3; Per +9

Ajani seems quite put out after being whipped for their late arrival to the deck, glaring daggers at those who made them all be late just for some show of dominance. Were they no more than animals? No...they were worse. Even animals knew how to avoid punishment once they'd experienced it a few times. These people seemed to deliberately let it happen just to teach them some strange lesson about who is in charge. Either way, it didn't sit well with the Vanara.

He bears the lash with as little show of pain as he can manage, not wanting to give their sadistic captain the satisfaction of seeing him in any sort of discomfort, but he is certain to offer Sandara his deepest thanks when she heals the injuries he sustained from the whip.

For the nighttime action, Ajani does his best to try and express sympathy for their predicament to Rattsberger, hoping that the mutual pain of the lash will give the two of them, at least initially, something to talk about.

Ben slept late into the day, but he also spent a while making up songs about Plugg, and Scourge. In the songs he accused both Plugg and Scourge of having carnal knowledge of the galley pigs, each other, and each other's mothers and any other deviant act he could think of. He even included a verse about Plugg and Scourge's manhoods deficiencies and the diseases they carried. He then sang the songs off key at the top of his lungs for the entire ship.

So can I get some information on where Ben is confined? is he chained up or free to move around the space he is confined in?

Ajani, still weak from the previous mainsail work, is completely unable to work the mainsail rigging as he needs to be able to, failing miserably at the task for the day. There is no doubt in his mind that he will be punished for it, but there is no help but to continue putting into memory the things that must be done to accomplish the work that must be done.

For his regular daytime action, Ajani will do his best to continue and try to make friends with Ratsberger, despite the fatigue the work is clearly putting on him.

Wow. Seriously? Three rolls and none of them above a flippin' eight. I really despise it when my luck is like this. How will that roll affect the relationship with Ratsberger?

Little guy? the one who is singing
If either one of those two rat holes hear you singing like that you'll spend more time in here then I will if you don't stop.

you're in a cage that is in the bilges where you can see that there are a total of 4 cages
The one where Brutis is and the one are you Ben. The other two are empty Ben.

What's you're name son?

Feel free to interact this person

I doubt those bastards can hear me all the way down here. I was mostly singing for my own amusement. Ben replies and leaves off his off key singing. The names Ben. . . It was trying to help you out that got me tossed in here. Who are you? and what was all that up on deck before we got tossed in here?

Ben, Eh? That Decent name. Names Brutis.

Brutis looks around and then reaches his hand thru bar and reaches more then half way across for your hand

I was locked in here because they stole me and hamma from the last area I was in. Which I do not even remember, I have been on this ship long enough to forget where that was.

That Plugg Fella is not going to be around too long. if I have anything to say about it. I have never been on boat before and if it is anything like this, I want nothing to do with it.

Nice to meet you mate. Ben says reaching out of his own cage to shake the mans hand. These bilge rats are pretty deperate for crew. They grabbed me and a bunch of others out of a tavern in Port Peril a couple days ago. If you plan on killing Plugg I won't try to talk you out of it. That is one low bastard that surely deserves killing. Most ships aren't like this one. This Captain Harrigan is going to have a mutiny on his hands if things keep on as they are. The bastards stole everything I own when they pressganged me. Even my spare cloths if you can believe it. No, most ships aren't like this one, but even this ship is better than being a slave again. So who is Hamma?

They have got a normal contest now since I have been on board to see who can lift it. it's quite large, if you get a chance to see it make sure that it is in good shape for me please? I am not sure how long I'll be in here now after that bastard accidentally left my cage open yesterday. He came down here and unlocked my cage while he thought I was sleeping, I tried to find my hamma at that point but I was spotted to quickly.

Ben give me a perception check please

Brutis goes and pulls on his lock and it still tightly locked

You get me out of here and you will have a friend for life sir, I hate ships, I have never been on a ship, till they drugged me a while back. get my off this ship and my service is yours when you need it.

If I get out of here soon I will see if I can find your hammer and what kind of shape it is in. I don't think anyone is getting off this ship for awhile yet. Unless of course the captain is a complete fool. He won't put into port anywhere for awhile. Half his crew would jump ship on him if he did. Of course that's what you get when you press gang your crew. . . .So what did this hammer of yours look like?

Those keys may let us out of here, but getting out right now will just get us a beating and get us thrown back in these cages. But no one says we have to stay in here all the time. Ben thinks to himself as he eyes the set of keys.

Oi, Brutis mate, do you think you can reach that set of keys there. Ben asks pointing out the keys to the Big man. Those may be the keys to these cages. If we have them then we can get out of these cages, though we have to be careful if Plugg and Scourge find us wandering around when they haven't let us out they will lock us up again, but if we can get out we can look for you hammer. I heard they put all my stuff in the quartermasters store. I will bet your hammer is there too.

stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

If Brutis is able to get the keys and they are able to get out of the cages Ben goes to the galley to see if he can get into the quartermasters store and look for his things and Brutis' hammer. If he can't get into the quartermaster store he searches the galley for useful items, as well as food and drink. If kroop is in the galley, and wake and semisober, Ben spends some time talking to him, then returns to his cage. hopefully with some food and drink for himself and brutis.
