Have we come to an impass due to the issue of who is to step up as leader, or are we delaying until some of our players return? Or is our illustrious GM still hungover from Thursday's party? Haha.
Hello everyone, I have just checked in since being gone for Easter. The internet at the GM and I's college dorms have been offline until late Saturday afternoon. I will be catching up on my recruitment threads and the GM said he will post after class is over today.

Just a heads up: I am having LASIK surgery on Wednesday and, depending on the recovery time, I may be absent from the boards for a day or two until my eyes are healed.
Just a quick update on my status:
My father in law is having triple bypass surgery on Tuesday. I will be on the road traveling on Monday, at the hospital on Tues. and perhaps home by Thurs or Fri. depending on his recovery. During that time, I will be posting but times and frequency may be weird or spotty. My apologies in advance.
I hope all is well with everyone. Perhaps our GM Internet connection is still down. I see he hasn't posted since last Wednesday.
@Tazennin - I had Lasik back in '98. I was up and driving late that night. You'll find it is a very quick, and I mean very, procedure. In total the actual procedure took me less than six minutes. I had hoped it would last for five years and I just had to get glasses this January. Over sixteen years was well worth the expense.
@Faeryl - Well wishes to you for your father. I hope it all went well.
20/20 vision and ready for some action. Here's hoping our GM hasn't fallen into the void of no return that so many GMs on these boards seem to stumble into. And we still have yet to address the issue of who's actually leading our merry band of deviants.
Ok, I'm back!
It looks like we've all had a weird time of things the past week or so. Getting popped with a project due after Spring Break and the dorm net being down before Easter kind of threw me for a proverbial loop. That said, I am ready to begin!
Out of curiosity, is there any among you willing to be a leader? I will direct Lady Satha's attention to you if so. If not, she will name her foppish majordomo as the expedition leader.

Think with a party chock full of self absorbed, egotistical CHA 22 Drow that one of them would jump at the chance to play boss.
If Hurkkagg wasn't a bugbear... or a slave... or as charismatic as a shagpile carpet - I'd be leader lol.
Knowing what I know about the Kingdom building rules we're better off with a high CHA leader, but that's a min/max way of viewing things which might be inconsistent with how we intend to play.
Perhaps adventuring we have a different leader than we do when kingdom building? So our "on the road" leader can be different than our king?
I will be at a couples luau tonight with my girlfriend, so expect a post late at night or early tomorrow morning!
Busy weekend and just now checking in on the boards. Akor is chomping at the bit to be the leader and a slaver by trade, but she's been playing it coy. Up to our GM if he wants to choose her.
I'd volunteer Faeryl, but I (and she in character) doubt any pure blooded drow would follow a half-blood. Besides there are others with equal charisma and more desire to lead.

Sorry for not posting everyone. Wrecks will do that to you. I will be posting sometime today. I may get my girl to type, since it might be hard to type with one hand. No worries, I still have both hands! Stupid casts suck. I'm probably rambling a bit due to the pain medicine and for that I apologize. It's almost 5:30 A.M. here, so I will probably go back to bed soon, assuming my blood pressure/sugar/whatever doesn't have to be checked soon. If you would like my cell phone number in case some other crap happens like this, please PM me. I can include pictures of the wreck, if you ask me for them. Anyway, I do sincerely apologize for massive inconvenience that I have put you all through with this.
As a note, Sanguinus_Draconis will be returning soon, hopefully, but he has decided to drop the games he is a PC in. I will try to find a replacement for him, so no worries.

I will post after I get back home today. One of my professors is being sort of a d*** about my absences since I've missed a whole week of college. The way I see it, they can deal with it.
