Silversheen price is 250...or am I missing something else? If it IS 750 then I may downgrade to 1...
I see it as 250 a shot as well.

Sorry - was confusing the equipment item with the special material

Would anyone be willing to carry about 11 pounds of Kardak's dungeoneering gear? (I'm trying to maintain light encumbrance.)
BTW: did we ever resolve if you were bringing your camel in or not, I was assuming no and didn't make a mini for it. Let me know when you get a chance.

As a note for pbp I tend to move the party forward when the consensus seems to be to do such even if everybody hasn't explicitly posted to do so. If there's ever stuff you wanted to do before leaving etc. just let me know and we'll make it happen. Also until you guys tell me otherwise I will move the party forward in their current marching order.

I'm fine with the GM rolling initiative.
Am I to understand that we're just waiting for the monsters to go, and from then on we'll post in whatever order we post in until we've all gone, then the monsters, then repeat?

Yup, since you could in theory delay around each other to achieve the results anyway, combined with the society's tenant of cooperation and that fact that it makes getting through combat rounds a lot faster. If you want to make sure to go before or after somebody for some tactical reason I am pretty accommodating.
If this turns out to be too confusing, unwieldy, or you guys don't like it I'm happy to run things in other ways. Same with any of the rules really, just mention here or send me a PM if you'd rather and I'm happy to accommodate. I actually have very little experience in pbps here in Paizo Land, although I did run a Birthright campaign as a pbp for almost 3 years in times long past.

Hi All
I am in the SH*T storm to end all SH*T storms at work and will be on a considerable amount of business travel and round the clock meetings.
I'll post as often as I can but it may take 1-2 delay days for combat responses etc. IF the game is bogged on me, the GM (or any player the GM deputises) is fine to make attack actions for me.
Again, not abandoning the game but but will need just a bit of patience on everyones part.

![]() |

I know I've had players that need to do this once in a while and I usually have them give me some standard actions for my character to take (if you're comfortable with that).
Hope it ends well and soon!

Go for it though I've posted... I am not the best shooter but I think we need to take down the archers... and I am confident the other Melee guys have got the ground goblins number.

Okdokie, no problem, thanks for letting us know, I really appreciate that, as always real life comes first. Of course I posted my most recent question in the gameplay thread before reading this. If I don't hear back from Arryn in the next 30 minutes or so I'll go ahead and have him start slinging as appropriate.

The P is Arryn's dropped polearm.
Whew. With the question marks in the initiative order I was going through my mental list of P monsters.
Pit fiend! Purple worm!

Tomorrow's my travel day home from Mexico, where I've had a fantastic and productive working vacation. Hopefully I'll be able to sneak in a post in the morning if one is called for, but it might be Sunday before I make another appearance.

Yep, 3 weeks ago a lady slammed into me from the left turn lane and totaled my van.
I was on my way to work yesterday when a fellow in front of me slammed on his brakes (on the highway) and I slammed on mine and swerved to miss him. The brakes locked up and I spun out into the center divider.
Thanks and yes, I am OK!

![]() |

Glad to hear it.
Guys, I am still in the midst of 16+hr days and all the fun of corporate life- this won't change for some time though I'll get windows where I can make a post or two.
If you guys will have me still, I'd like to continue but it will mean you'll need to bot me.

![]() |

I'm going to be a bit slower for the next few workdays. I'm neck deep in a few projects coming to a head along with this accident taking up a lot of my time.
I will definitely make sure to have 1 or 2 meaningful posts a day though!

They're shooting at us with shortbows from a hundred feet and more away? I'm halfway tempted just to wait the bony bastards out and see if they come down the stairs. Or run out of arrows. They're at -2 to hit us from there, right? Or maybe -1 if they're getting a +1 from high ground.
In any case, instead of just making his painfully slow way across this enormous room, Barrin, this time, is actually going to take the time to see what other folks think we should do.
Coordinated tactics! Whoulda thunk it?
So? Thoughts?

![]() |

Hey guys, just a quick note to let you know I was running a (fairly epic) session of PFS at the local game store today and will catch up here tonight or tomorrow.

![]() |

So how might this work, exactly? I'm envisioning Toren marching slowly across the room with his tower shield raised and Barrin huddling right behind him, one hand on Toren's back.
That doesn't really map onto the way tactical movement works in Pathfinder, however, with its turn-based action economy.

![]() |

Well, I guess that since we aren't in combat, I can start (sorry I was thinking Charge with my shield and you'd be charging behind me). At some point GM will roll init and then we resolve our actions.

Pirate Rob |

So, crossing over the threshold will give you a surprise round, meaning you can't actually cover that much space before the skeletons start reacting.
Note that the tower shield only is a solid wall for the user. As before I will likely give an additional circumstance bonus to others hiding behind the shield in addition to the cover provided by their ally.

![]() |

I suppose if anyone had anything effective at this range against skeletons they would have spoken up by now?
I really don't see anything to do besides pick one staircase and make for it. And pray the skellys don't land a critical as we make our way across.

Pirate Rob |

I'm game! I'm having confusion on what the light blue area is on the map?
That's the 5ft deep glowing blue pool of water that is pouring out of the statue's mouth on the far side. Note: I changed the last 2squares next to the statue into a line between the squares. It's more accurate this way, but harder to see.

![]() |

Y'know, now that I'm looking at it again, I think I'd just like to reenter initiative/rounds and just take the Run Full-Round action. If I'm counting right, that should get Barrin to the bottom of the (and maybe a little ways up them depending on how many squares worth of movement it is to climb them) in two rounds. I can't quite figure out the stairs--are they switchbacks? is there any cover from the skeletons while climbing them?--but I'm thinking they'll only get two rounds worth of free shots on him before he enters a round in which he'll be climbing the stairs and either have cover or hopefully be reaching them and be able to engage in melee.
If more than one of us do this then hopefully they'll split their shots instead of concentrating fire. And heck, if they do concentrate fire that'll leave a couple of us free runs.
Anyway, that's what Barrin wants to do.
