Chkchka |

Chkchka attacks another random goblin, codename Trent.
Attack Trent: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Damage to Trent: 1d4 ⇒ 2
That's a critical threat, but all a critical does (I think) is raise the injection DC by 2, which isn't loaded with anything, so... not sure there is any point to rolling a confirmation. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Elai C'tara |

P245, you inflict double damage (well roll+all modifiers twice) in addition to any critical effect from the weapon. There is no confirmation roll, a roll of 20 is either an automatic hit (if it wouldn't be normally) or a critical hit (if it would have hit normally).

EltonJ |

Trent and the others pick up where they left off and start retreating to their ship. Since you defeated their captain, the goblins are faced with the problem of no leadership. The goblins start to slowly retreat in their ship so that they can blast out and off.
Trent fires at Chkchka. junklaser fire: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur snaps off shots at the goblins as they make a fighting withdrawl trying to pick off injured goblins (Trent if he is still alive when his turn comes).
"Keep the pressure up, we don't want them getting a chance to rally!"
First Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 4 = 16
First Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Second Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 4 = 12
Second Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Glory sees the goblins retreat and fast as lightning draws one of her grenades as she moves towards the next piece of cover.
"You ain't escaping, gobs!" she yells before throwing the grenade, aiming the bomb towards the center of the group of goblins.
Got Quick Draw so swift action draw grenade, move action move and standard throw
Grenade: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Reflex DC 14 or entangled 2d4 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6 rounds. Rafius is 10 ft, so I try to get as many of them as possible.

What kind of grenade is it? A concussion grenade or a fragmentation grenade? It would help my ruling.

Nevermind. The grenade explodes with a sticky substance that holds fast the seven or so goblins to the floor!

They managed to burst through my Stamina... gotta get some sweet revenge
The blast catches Glory square in the chest but the heavy weapons operator doesn't pay attention to the blood falling between her left shoulder pad.
Heavy grins as she raises her cannon towards the glued gobbos.
"This is what I call target practice." she mutters before pulling the trigger.
If I take out the first gobbo with a single attack, second shot goes to another
Full Attack #1: 1d20 + 0 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 0 + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 10
Full Attack #2: 1d20 + 0 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 0 + 2 = 15
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 5

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur is momentarily shaken by the explosion but puts a hand on the wall to steady himself and continues trying to take out wounded goblins. Hopefully he could put them down before they did a similar stunt.
First Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 3
First Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Second Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Second Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Chkchka |

Chkchka moves away from the main group so they can't all be caught together by a grenade again.
Che thinks Not good. The only reason we are fighting them is for those lasers. If they destroy them, this is all pointless.
Chkchka takes another shot, at "Herman"
Attack Herman: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur moves to different cover off to the side to spread out further and fires a shot off at Herman the Goblin. He was wincing, hoping to end this fight soon, that jury rigged grenade had hurt like hell.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Elton, may I suggest using bold or big words as a header for new rounds? Just saying because I did miss it in your post and just realised after a second reading
Seeing the few remaining gobbos still glued but with no desire to surrender forces a grin in Glory.
The demolition expert draws a frag grenade as she makes her way towards the cover closest to her enemies "You could have dropped your weapons, but instead shot me. Y'all asked for this to happen!" she yells before lobbing the grenade to the group.
Fragmentation Grenade: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Radius 15ft, 5 more than before so I figured I will effect all the Gs. Reflex Save DC 14 to halve damage

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur sighed as he slumped against the wall, wincing as he touched the scorched flesh of his abdomen beneath his armor. "Well that went pretty well except for when one of them threw an exploding gun at us." Arthur goes to check out what the goblins were moving to see what it might be.

![]() |

Heavy walks up to Arthur and pats the man on the shoulder. The wounds from the goblin's junk lasers and IED'd junk laser spray the ground with blood as she does so "Thrill of the battle, huh? Gotta give it to them gobbos: they didn't want to bite the dust."
The heavy weapons operator takes so time to hastily bandage her shoukder with some gobbo clothing and then reloads the heavy cannon "Unless you guys want to sit around and wait while I scavenge some gobbo stuff to fashion another 'nade I'm down to two smokes and a lot of poorly repressed anger."
With which I mean I can use my class ability to build a grenade out of scrap in 10 minutes. Add another 10 minutes to use Resolve points so we regain our Stamina. You guys choose, we can do both, one or none.

Arthur d’Cannith |

"My teeth are still aching from that explosion, taking a brake to get out senses back might not be a bad idea." He looks over at Heavy "You might have missed it in the fight but I've got a spell that could get your grenades a little more bang for their buck if I cast it seconds before." Arthur will reload his pistol once he's check out what is in the goblins uhm cargo.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
I think we need to take the ten minute break, and if we are taking ten why not twenty. A supercharged grenade might clear out a cluster quicker next time with 2d6 damage.

Arthur d’Cannith |

Taking my ten minute break, that explosion went straight through stamina into hit points. What appears to have been the goblin's cargo. I mean obviously I missed the real thing like space cocaine but what about the blatantly obvious thing like space fish lying on top as a decoy.

EltonJ |

You find nine junklasers. One of them was used as a grenade. That's without the ship. Within the ship, there are more. Plus, you've just captured a goblin ship, which can be sold. Enough to get you a new ship, yes?
Hiding the space drug is boxes of unpopped popcorn. Identifying the drug requires a perception roll. Apparently the goblins were planning some kind of party.

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur tosses the popcorn box back into the crate... I suppose they robbed them off someone. "All things considered that went pretty well. None of us got seriously hurt, we should earn a decent few credits from the bounties and items the goblins have stolen we can either sell for credits, keep or if we can figure out who owned them, return for potential rewards and rep. A better reputation leads to opportunities."

Arthur d’Cannith |

Arthur looks back at the boxes of popcorn. "Drugs? ...if they're illegal we could maybe get some good faith from security, which hopefully we'll never have to cash in."

![]() |

"Dreamshiver... Fancy stuff. Two grands the dose back home, don't know here." mutters the hwavy weapons operator as she picks one of the boxes and picking the drug "As much as I love weaponizing stuff, and with a dartgun we could do it pretty easily, I always say no to hard drugs and this stuff here is pretty addictive. I say we burn everything but one dose, bring recorded proof and the drug back to Security and ask to be rewarded."

![]() |

"We could space it, I guess... but I worry some other idiot will stumble into it floating through the void and use it. What about the gobbo's ship reactor? Or we could burn it inside the gobbo ship, airlock that section and purge the air system afterwards."
