Hardish sticks the bloody zombie and does some good damage but the flesh does not move like the living and most is negated. Lucas misses with his ray of gray white light, it shoots over the target's head.

The zombies surround Daniel and the other creatures slamming as they go. The zombies kill the Viserack as one hits Daniel a grazing blow, of 3 damage.

Lite blasts the fleshy zombie girl and her skin burns. Daniel slices the bloody zombie and it falls into a pile.

Both miss. Lucas shoots with his own light and the zombie falls from the damage a searing hole in its chest. Hardish stabs at the zombie and likely would have done no damage but he hit a weak point.

Hardish no sneak attack damage? It only is 1/2 effective against undead, but if you are flanking...

The zombies flail about slamming into Daniel's armor and Hardish. Both take minor wounds and luckily don't get grappled. The pain is substantial but no visible wounds. Hardish damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7, Daniel damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5, Hardish sneak attack damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Lucas once again aims at the purple zombie to take it down. Firing a small green ray to try and disrupt the negative energy holding the zombie together.

Round 5

Hardish takes down the zombie before him as it falls to the ground as he pulls his rapier from its head. Lucas took down the purple zombie last round but this time he aims at the yellow one, the energy disrupting the zombie's ability to move. Shadow has trouble getting its attacks to deal damage luckily the zombie do not appear to even notice it.

The three zombies continue to wail on Daniel, yellow being distracted by the searing energy falls to the ground as its attack is over balanced, AoO for Daniel. White zombie just slams against Daniels armor as green gets a clean shot of Daniel's head, damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5.

Daniel returns the blow to the green zombie taking it down to the ground, to not get up again.

Hardish positions himself to attack the next zombie .yellow by stepping over it's fallen comrades. Hardish is relieved to see the allied monster pulling the zombie's attention, so that He can find a good position to strike
He sinks his rapier in deep to the creature's chest cavity and begins whirling it about.

Round 6

The cat takes quick slices at the zombie with its claws and tries to get through the tough exterior of the zombie but only one claw gets in as Daniel cuts its legs out from under it. It also gets hit by Lucas' ray and Hardishes stab. It is dead again.

The white zombie doesn't recognize that all of its fellow zombies are down and continues to slam at Daniel. It hits ,doing damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3, and hurts Daniel in the arm, no teeth just another slam.

Between the cat and the ray from Lucas, the man no one knows, the zombie falls before its attacks hit home on Daniel.

Hardish scowls slightly as the group continues to get bigger. He mumbles under his breath. "More people will just slow me down." Nonetheless, he and his follower gather up their supplies and begin walking alongside the group, headed the same direction. Hardish ensures that Fatima and himself keep about 15 feet between themselves and the main group for now.

Soon enough Lucas and his two companions catch up to Matthew and Daniel. No new threats arise from the woods and not much can be heard in the area either. The clouds above swirl and overlap each other keeping the sun from breaking through. A light breeze cuts through the group, taking the smell of death partially with it.

Hardish nods to the Wind. "That's an all-to-familiar sent, isn't it?" he says, just loudly enough that the group can hear it. He leans back and looks up into the clouds that block his view of the sky. He grimaces, as though he was a prisoner staring down his guard.

There still is no more threats, giving the group a strange time to actually greet one another before heading down the path again.

Matthew has a towel or bandage of some kind over his eyes so he either is forcing himself to be blind or... either way it appears he cannot see. The cat creature has run off and likely is lurking in the foliage nearby.

Lucas has caught back up with the group but has not introduced his companions.

Hardish seems eager to move on but has given them a chance to catch up.

Lucas then nods over to his two companions since it seems like there is no pressing danger. Lucas first addresses the nun who seems out of place in this dark world.

"This is Sister Lucia I met her after the Merging and she is a woman dedicated to her god. She can't fight that much, but she does know a lot about first aid."

Sister Lucia courtesy to the group. "I hope we can all work together and make this world a brighter place."

Lucas snorts at this, but then nods to the man wearing a white stained coat with glasses.

"And this is Dr. Stien I met him shortly after the army broke apart and fled. He helped me with some of my wounds, and asked for my help in surviving this world. Since then he has proven to be a knowledgeable man on the undead, and I have found his help invaluable."

Dr. Stien nods at his introduction, but says nothing else seemingly in a world all his own.

Hardish and Fatima listen to this introduction. Fatima looks up to Hardish from time to time and he whispers a translation to her. Hardish keeps his eyes on the road ahead and he waits for the others to introduce themselves. It is clear that he does not intend to share about himself just yet.

He listens to the movements of the people around him and takes a few steps toward the new trio. He starts out a bit quiet but quickly comes to normal conversation level as he speaks, "I am Matthew, a traveler. I was from the other world but since the merging have been adapting to this new world. It has been a trial since I have not been able to see but I get by. You can see magic courses through me and I am still learning how it all works. Oh yes, elf, I am an elf because I was brought back... well perhaps that is a story once we are in a more secure location. Come let us be off and quiet to not draw attention to ourselves." He wrings the towel in his hands some as a way to release the nervousness of talking.


The group moves forward. Hardish at the front ahead of the group. Please state where you would like to be in the formation.

An hour of peaceful walking finds no threats or undead. The path is quiet and a bit unnerving but that is normal in this new world of yours.

Finally you come upon the vehicle that wizzed by the group some time ago. There are a few bodies here and there but nothing is moving. Do you investigate or move on?
