Looks pretty good.
Though can you do evasion with medium armor? I can't remember.

![]() |

I'm not taking more than one level. I just needed a way to get his merchant skills as class skills. Sneak Attack was what made it worth it though--otherwise I would have just paid a feat tax to get class skill traits.

Ah I see.

![]() |

I know it doesn't matter now, but I got curious and went and looked anyway.
Evasion (Ex): At 2nd level and higher, a rogue can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the rogue is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Also good to know, you can not use acrobatics to avoid an AoO if you are wearing medium or heavy armor.

![]() |

Correct on all points. I did have Ēoswulf pick up some ranks in Acrobatics though. You need it occasionally for crossing ledges and such, and I see Ēoswulf as an acrobatic guy. Who knows, maybe someday he'll find light armor that's sturdy enough to turn him into a battlefield-tumbler. :)

GM Fuzzfoot |

Sorry - I have been on the road for 15 days, but am back now and will do chronicles in the morning.

![]() |

No worries. I forgot you were on the road.

![]() |

Same here. Take your time.

GM Fuzzfoot |

OK - Chronicles are >> here <<.
Let me know if I missed anything, made an error, etc. You should download it - I will leave them for a long time, I am sure, but not necessarily forever :)

![]() |

OK, Geo is leveled up. I was planning on reworking a lot, but actually my changes were pretty minor. Dropped Point Blank Shot and took toughness instead. Sold sword and short bow back, picked up rapier instead.
Level 2 added Wizard(Diviner) and a monkey familiar.
Focus will shift from a ranged shooter to a touch flanker. Next level should be rogue again with finesse and arcane armor training, but picked up a wand of mage armor for now (and a wand of CLW which I think he technically bought with prestige before last scenario). Also bought a pearl of power. I think that's about it.

Chronicle Received. Thanks.

Here's our next two...
5-04 The Stolen Heir 1-5 (xnightdeath, xKyshkumen)
5xp
5-21 The Merchant's Wake 1-5 (**caps, **RyanH, **Fuzzfoot, xnightdeath)
6xp
level 3
I've Played the Merchant's Wake, so would prefer to GM that one (doesn
t matter character-wise as it wasn't core), but is there anyone that hasn't DM'd yet for Stolen Heir? If not, I can do that one before we rotate.

![]() |

I can take The Merchant's Wake as my first go (I've also played it before). I don't have The Stolen Heir. Our rotation will be a little tighter with only 6 people to switch off. But that's okay.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

I can take either. So just inform me wwhich one I would need to get.

![]() |

I screwed up, and am playing Stolen Heir in core right now... doh! Not sure how I did that, but I suppose is means I need to GM it. So if that is next, I will get a copy this morning and get started.

![]() |

Yeah, that's next once we finish the current mission. Probably take us a few weeks.

![]() |

Sorry everyone. Been a busy weekend and I am currently out of town for my daughters first birthday. I will try and post Monday night or Tuesday.

![]() |

All, it is crazy busy at work right now, so please bot me if I fall behind. Reminder, I have pregened attack rolls available for copy and paste on my character page!

![]() |

I am going to be rather spotty in my internet access for the next 10 days, so please feel free to bot Geo for any trapfinding or door unlocking as you need. I will try to check in when I can.

![]() |

This is from the magic items section in the Core rule book.
Spell Trigger: Spell trigger activation is similar to spell completion, but it's even simpler. No gestures or spell finishing is needed, just a special knowledge of spellcasting that an appropriate character would know, and a single word that must be spoken. Spell trigger items can be used by anyone whose class can cast the corresponding spell. This is the case even for a character who can't actually cast spells, such as a 3rd-level paladin. The user must still determine what spell is stored in the item before she can activate it. Activating a spell trigger item is a standard action and does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
So Filla as a ranger can use anyone's CLW wand since you don't have Hinkle with you this time.

Good to know. I knew I forgot something critical but RL has being giving me a recent beating.

![]() |

I am going to be scarce for the next 3 days. I might check in from mobile, but my posts will be few and far between until Monday. Thank you for your patience!

I'm doing some traveling through Sunday. Bot me as needed.

Me too... probably nothing Friday night or Saturday night.

Then Color Spray as possible... (DC 16)

Away for the next week or so. May still check in daily, but, bot me as needed.

Here's our next two...
5-04 The Stolen Heir 1-5 (xnightdeath, xKyshkumen)
5xp5-21 The Merchant's Wake 1-5 (**caps, **RyanH, **Fuzzfoot, xnightdeath)
6xp
level 3I've Played the Merchant's Wake, so would prefer to GM that one (doesn t matter character-wise as it wasn't core), but is there anyone that hasn't DM'd yet for Stolen Heir? If not, I can do that one before we rotate.
I've also played The Merchant's Wake and would like to GM it. But I am okay GMing a different one.
I really want to play Wardstone Patrol but I already own it so I'm a good candidate for running it.
I'm actually okay buying as many as two modules I don't own to run. I'm probably not the best person for Stolen Heir; since I'm traveling right now we'd have to wait a while to start.
Some of you have already run two modules, so you're good until we hit at least 10xp. Who is volunteering to take Stolen Heir?
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

I've played merchants wake, but since three are vying for that I'm fine for stolen heir... I have not DMes yet (cough, ever, cough) so should probably do. Will need to buy, read, and prep.

![]() |

I don't own any modules, but am also ok with purchasing some for the good of the group. I am not the best GM, as I am still new, but will do whatever is needed for the group!

I'll take stolen heir, i have most of them so.....
It's Sunday 1:25am here. I'll post something on Monday. Give me some time to set up.

![]() |

nightdeath, haven't you already GMed two? None of us should have to GM more than two times every 12 games

lol if someone wants to take it I alo don't mind. I tend to go into gm mode quite a abit where I am.

Thanks for being patient, I have all the chronicles filled out and I'll see if my scanner is in the mood to co-operate with me. Now for the bad news, and I really don't like giving less then the 2 prestige points, but I'll link the secondary success conditions so you can see where I am coming from on this.
PCs had several opportunities to prevent the Razmiri from identifying and tracking them: convincing the Sisters Grymble to accept the PCs’ cover story.
You guys had a really good roll and I added a +4 bonus for telling the convenient truth, but I out rolled you by 1 on this.
preventing Holy Ahendile from escaping to
report to her superiors
I'm willing to give you guys that one as you defeated her and she had no chance to escape.
recovering the box of hair and blood from area F5.
This was the loose brick in the wall that was pointed out several times, but no one followed up on. Behind the brick was a stash of scrying material taken from the dwarves while they were held prisoner.
For the second prestige point you need 2 out of the 3 which put you just shy of the extra point.

![]() |

Heh... that's funny, " Someone said,"Look here. A name 'Rosh'." Fillia points out and then with hand signals directs the party's sight towards the loose brick." and then we promptly kept the hell away from that!

![]() |

Bummer about the PP. That's fair though. Sometimes these scenarios are really picky about the requirements.
Thanks Kysh! I'm looking forward to the next game. I need to get some EQ sorted out.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

EQ list all sorted out.
I'm considering spending 2pp to get a Masterwork Breastplate with Masterwork Silvered Armor Spikes. By my math it would be 720gp for the whole shebang. Then I'd sell my current shield and breastplate to pay for a Masterwork shield as well (masterwork armor spikes to be installed later).
Any downsides I'm not thinking of?
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Ack! I have already played this one in core.
If we want to go ahead, though, I could play it for no credit and then work on applying another GM credit to keep me on par for experience.
@GM Kyshkumen - For faction card for the last scenario, would this be checkable?
Defeat a known slaver whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. For the purposes of this goal, use the definition of slaver from the Freedom Fighter reward.
Thanks for the game and the chronicle. Fair call on the prestige - sometimes we miss one!

![]() |

It's okay with me if you run it instead of Maximos. You haven't already run 2 games, have you?
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Sounds like it will be Geo. Have a look at the list and see if there's another mission or two in the first 12 you'd like to claim, Max.
