HP 27/57; Hero Points 2/2
AC 22 (23 vs. evil), touch 15, flat-footed 18, CMD 21 (23 vs. disarm)
Fort +4, Ref +8, Will +2 (0/1 set mind; 2/4 charmed life; 0/1 defiant luck)
Panache: 3/4 (1/1 deed reroll); 0/1 inexplicable luck
Consumables: 1/1 swordmaster's flair
Effects: 3 Cha damage
Starting to look badly hurt, Aurelian leaps over the rubble toward the nearest stalker that he sees, bringing his sword to bear. Note that the parry/riposte may actually be before his attack, if he takes an AoO
+2 relic rapier: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 7 = 16
Intimidate (demoralize as a swift action on a successful hit): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Parry (DC=attacker's roll): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
Riposte (if parry succeeds): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 7 = 15
Riposte (if parry succeeds): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 7 = 15
2 panache if parry goes off; back to 3 panache if the 24 confirms a crit; also, strange. Those are the exact same riposte rolls as last round.

Zay |

"Thank you, Miss Lethanna!"
Feeling somewhat bolstered, Zay zips forward to give Sarine a hand.
Flying down to ground level, between green and purple, this should provoke from both green and purple I would think. AC 25 vs the AOOS.
Flanking attack with Sarine, vs purple:
Slam, flank, primrose: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 2 + 4 = 33
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 4 = 13

GM Dak |

Tettia casts a spell as a ball of floating flame appears just at the edge of her sight where she can barely see the destrachan.
Ref: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
It feels the sudden heat and moves to avoid being burnt too badly by the spell. Prim casts a spell to heal Zay as she begins her inspirational singing. Sarine rushes forward to attack the nearest faceless.
It strikes at her as she closes the distance.
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 2 = 13
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 8 - 2 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
The column hampers the first blow, but it connects on the second doing some damage, though not nearly as much as Sarine does in return when she lands a solid blow on the faceless.
Zay flies toward the same on Sarine had attacked, also leaving herself open to some attacks.
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 2 = 13
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 - 2 = 7
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 8 - 2 = 24
Again the columns protect the group as one attack just barely misses due to the column. Zay lands another solid blow on the injured one, but it is not enough to put an end to it. Aurelian joins the party advancing on the faceless as well.
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 - 2 = 9
AoO: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 8 - 2 = 8
1d2 ⇒ 1
He manages to avoid the incoming blows and actually stabs one in the chest for significant damage in the process. With it already injured he goes ahead and finishes it off with another well placed blow.
The two closest to Aurelian get into position to flank him and then attack. The other one stuck in a bad sitation lashes out at Sarine who had done the most harm to it.
You would get an AoO on red if you have combat reflexes but he does have partial cover.
Attack, Flank: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 2 = 13
Attack, Flank: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 8 + 2 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
One of the two connects with Aurelian and the one attacking Sarine connects as well.
Realized I messed up the destrachan's turn and he went early, so skipping him this round to adjust. Group is up!

Sarine Dulciare |

Was I not able to renew Shield before we came in? That would have put her AC at 22, beyond the opportunity attack. And...I forgot to use her intimidating feat. Oh well.
12/18 rounds of bloodrage remaining, 10/14 temporary hp remaining (or maybe 4/14)
Attack (bloodrage, power attack, inspired): 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 2 - 2 + 4 = 34
Damage: 2d6 + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 6) + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 29
Intimidate: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Iterative Attack (bloodrage, power attack, inspired): 1d20 + 15 - 5 + 2 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 15 - 5 + 2 - 2 + 4 = 21
Damage: 2d6 + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5) + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 31
If her first attack defeats the faceless stalker, she'll move toward the destrachan.

"Tell us where our friends are if you have any hope of living!" Aurelian demands as he stabs at the blue-tinged stalker.
His wounds seem to be getting the best of him, however. He manages one solid thrust, but then seems to lose his form, blade flying wildly.

Tettia Tuditanus |

Tettia continues to direct the flaming sphere in an attempt to do the most damage possible with it.
Flaming Sphere: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2) = 6 fire damage
DC 13 Reflex Save for half damage.

Zay |

"Hang on, Mister Fache..."
Concentration check to cast defensively, DC 21: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
The wind roils and twists briefly, chanting coming from it. A pale glow emanates in the middle of the air elemental, who then steps closer to Aurelian and reaches towards him.
Defensive cast = success, 5-ft step, touch Aurelian with cure moderate
Healing to Aurelian: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (2, 5) + 7 = 14

Primrose Lethanna |

I highly recommend combat reflexes as a swashbuckler. Parry/Riposte is such a critical feature of the class and with combat reflexes you really heighten it. I took it on my swash and use it frequently!
Catching sight of Aurelian's injuries even after Zay's healing, Prim notes the swashbuckler needs to stay on his feet if they are going to get through this alive. She slides up to him and uses her healing wand on him "Aurelian! Hold still for a quick second!" she notes in between verses of her song.
CMW: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 3, 5) + 3 = 16
Don't forget +4/+4 on attacks!

GM Dak |

Sarine promptly puts an end to the injured faceless near her while Aurelian manages to jab one of the faceless flanking him. He nearly gets the monster in a critical spot, but it moves just at the last minute, even so he still leaves a significant wound.
Ref: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Tettia continues to focus on her ball of fire but the creature continues to avoid the worst of the flames. Zay and Prim both come over to heal Aurelian, fixing up a good amount of his wounds.
To note he healed 5 less because you rolled 3d8 instead of 2d8 for a CMW.
The two faceless seem undeterred by Aurelian's words, even if the injured one is slightly shaken.
Attack, Flank, Shaken: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 8 + 2 - 2 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Attack, Flank: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
The shaken one still manages to slice Aurelian in the arm and then moves away. The other one misses, but moves away as well then calls out for their pet to blast the group.
Zay, Prim, and Sarine would each get an AoO. Since Aurelian doesn't have combat reflexes I don't believe he does since he has to use his AoO to attempt the parry?
With the two faceless somewhat clear the destrachan lets out another focused blast at the column the group is clustered around.
8d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 5, 5, 6, 4, 1) = 29
7d100 ⇒ (78, 27, 63, 74, 88, 77, 95) = 502
Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 6) = 21
Once again the column breaks apart as the ceiling collapses on top of most of the group (everyone except Sarine and Tettia). The destrachan also moves away from the floating ball of fire.
Aurelian you have your choice of green circle to get shunted to from the falling debris, Zay you get your choice of red square. Obviously, only on of you could be in that SE square so I'll let you two work out who goes where.
Group is up!

Intimidate: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
Not a good time for me to work with the map, so I'll take the rest of Sarine's turn later.

Zay |

AoO: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 4 = 13
An aerial swipe.... shortly before the ceiling caves in.
Just clarifying, the 8d6 damage is to the column, and the 21 damage is to us from falling rubble, correct? Paiiin
"Agghnnn... that lizard will bring the entire room down on us as long as it can see to keep targeting columns..."
Flying to new location on the map, will take an AOOs from blue vs AC 25
If the ceiling is 15 feet high or less, Zay will be at ceiling height-- the goal is to try and be out of melee range of the destrachan while not being more than 15' away. From there, casting obscuring mist - should be visible as a white circle in roll 20
Zay calls out in a high, twisting voice, and mist begins to roil off the cloud form, obscuring the destrachan's targets....

Sarine Dulciare |

Weird. I have no idea how things got this way, but there's a faceless on the map next to Sarine & threatening Prim, so that part is easy.
"That might be their whole plan," Sarine growls. "They're telling it to collapse the pillars."
11/18 rounds of bloodrage remaining, 10/14 temporary hp remaining

Correct, re: AoO
HP 20/57; Hero Points 2/2

The spells save Aurelian as the debris falls on him again, nearly crushing him.
"Yes, yes, Aurelian Fache is on it!" the swordsman says. He rushes forward, relying on the mist -- and his sword, of course --- to help keep him safe!
Two move actions to get to the destrachan's side; that will provoke from it
Parry (DC=attacker's roll): 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 14 + 4 = 21
Riposte (if parry succeeds): 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 14 + 4 = 22
Miss chance (high is good): 1d100 ⇒ 29
Miss chance reroll (blind fight): 1d100 ⇒ 43

Tettia Tuditanus |

Hoping that the screaming creature isn't as nimble as the faceless, Tettia directs the burning ball towards it.
Flaming Sphere: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3) = 9 fire damage
DC 13 Reflex Save for half damage.

Zay |

Tettia, the mist is going to stop you seeing it until you're next to it, or any ranged attacks at it. :-\ Sorry. It was a desperate attempt to make it stop being able to target pillars, but it definitely impedes us too.
Prim, the green circles were just notations of where we could move to when rubble fell. No meaning at this point. GM, is there no reflex save against those falling rubbles? That stinks T___T

GM Dak |

AoO-Zay: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9
Ref: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Sarine puts down the faceless near her and Prim allowing Prim the chance to pull out her wand and use it to heal herself a bit. Aurelian and Zay move up toward the destrachan while Tettia tries to move her orb toward the creature, but it once again avoids the worst of the flames. Zay casts a spell as the area fills with mist, in hopes it will hamper the destrachan.
Sadly, the beast has no eyes and relies on other senses to attack, the mist proving to not really hamper it. It focuses its fury at Aurelian who is right in front of it.
Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 = 7

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
While the creature misses twice, Aurelian can't see well enough in the mist to parry its blows and one of the attacks gets trough as it tears at him with its claw.
The last remaining faceless moves up to attack Prim.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Sadly the unsuspecting woman gets sliced open, undoing all the healing she had just done plus some.

Sarine Dulciare |

"Sounds ferocious in there," Sarine says as she hears the destrachan lash out repeatedly at Aurelian. She almost missed the approach of the faceless as it attacked Prim.
"Hold on!"
Looks like difficult terrain to get to this thing, so Sarine will have to provoke (should be AC 22).

Zay |

"I think Aurelian was hit again. I'm going to try to get on the creature's back side."
Swooping up and around, Zay tries to reach a position somewhat behind the creature. Should have enough move to get to that square without provoking, the 50% concealment at 5'+ would stop AOO until immediately adjacent.

Primrose Lethanna |

"Thanks!" Prim says in a pained cry as she limps back towards Tettia, bleeding from too many wounds to count. As she stumbles into the arcanist, she sees she's in equally bad of shape. She uses another charge from the wand on Tettia to keep her in the fight.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 7) + 3 = 13
"There you go. Go help them!"
Inspire courage is still going, don't forget your +4's everyone!

Tettia Tuditanus |

Unable to see the creature within the mist, Tettia puts her wand away. When Prim suggests that she join the melee, the girl's eyes go wide. "What? Me?" she responds with a squeak. "I just ..." she waves her hands as if casting a spell. "And I don't really even have any of those any more. I can't even ... pew, pew, pew." She shakes her head helplessly. "All I have left is ..."
She frowns and concentrates, speaking the words of a spell and then shrugging. "That's it. That was the last one I had left."
haste again, assuming the previous casting expired. That's it, folks. Tettia's got no more spells.

Aurelian Fache |

Tettia, Zay and I are out of range of the spell. I think even if you take a full move action, you can't get us all. Not sure if you want to try risking saving it for one round and just move this one?

Hurting badly, Aurelian knows he needs to finish the creature off quickly, he closes his eyes to focus completely on his swordwork, blade slamming home once, then a second time. With a cry of triumph to try to intimidate the creature, he falls back into his form to try to defend himself, knowing he might not get another chance.

GM Dak |

Sarine moves up and the faceless takes advantage of the opening she presents.
AoO: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
She dodges though and counterattacks sinking her blade deep into the creature, putting an end to it. Prim moves back to get out of the fight, but also to heal Tettia, almost completely healing any wounds she had. The arcanist is nearly out of tricks, so moves a bit closer as she prepares to cast a spell to aid the group.
As per Aurelian's note, I just moved Tettia up
Zay moves thinking the mist will cover their movement, but the creature senses their movement regardless of the mist and strikes out at them.
AoO: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9
It takes a glancing bite as Zay passes by and to make matters work when they attack the fog gets in the way causing the blow to miss. Aurelian puts his faith in his skills closing his eyes and relying on his other senses to attack, he strikes an extremely well placed blow on the first attack, and nearly misses with the second but adjusts at the last moment and skewers the beast through the heart as it tumbles to the ground.
The group is about to let out a sigh of relief when they hear noise and see lights coming from the hall to the east. Zay can see a group of 8 men round the corner, weapons drawn glaring at the group. Oddly though, it looks like there is an exact copy of each man in the group, so that there are really only 4 different people, but with a duplicate of each all moving and acting differently.
Group is up!

Zay |

"Oh, GOOD," Zay wheezes as Aurelian drops the beast before it can inflict more pain.
"...and also, oh no. More are coming. Definitely faceless. They look like each other. Let's pull back to the other side of the mist, mister Fache? I don't know about you but I need at least a second."
Why don't we get out of the mist on Tettia's side so she can haste then?
Zay suits action to word, flying gustily through the mist to join the others. "More incoming," they say, just in case their earlier words weren't hurt. They stay up near the ceiling, murmuring a spell to heal some of their dissolved misty self.
CLW on self: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Sarine Dulciare |

Sarine turns to Tettia and Prim. "Get behind me. Try to find somewhere to hide if you can."
Assuming that Aurelian is able to come back their direction from the fog, Sarine's plan is to move back out of the difficult terrain zone, as that would give the faceless an advantage. (9/18 rounds of bloodrage remaining, 6/7 rounds of Haste remaining)

Primrose Lethanna |

Assuming we have no time to prepare to allow me to heal Aurelian here. If that is not the case, she will wand him as well.

"Yes, this is a good idea," Aurelian says, falling back out of the mist and then, hopefully out of the difficult terrain.
"If you need, you can escape. Aurelian Fache will remain here to hold them off and join you afterward."
I think we can fight this battle and get them off our backs (especially if I can get more healing), but then we may need to retreat. Unless you guys want to try to retreat immediately, which we could probably do with haste. I worry they'd follow us, though. (Others might still follow us after this group, but they wouldn't necessarily be right on our trail.)

GM Dak |

The group sets up for another attack, adjusting their positions healing and casting spells.
Going to say the haste starts this round. Prim, Aurelian is within reach after his movement if you want to wait and heal him instead of Sarine, just let me know.
You hear the men coming down the hall and eventually you see the light spill into the room through the mist as they continue in your direction.
Group is up again!
As it stands they will pretty much all have to double move to get to you this round with your current positioning. Keep in mind though that if they are in the mist they will have concealment and you will not based on your current positions.

Primrose Lethanna |

Yes, let's give it to Aurelian last round and this round.
"Aurelian!" Prim says through clenched teeth, forcing herself to move up behind him while she holds her bloody midsection. "One-second."

AC 22 (23 vs. evil), touch 15, flat-footed 18, CMD 21 (23 vs. disarm)
Fort +4, Ref +8, Will +2 (0/1 set mind; 2/4 charmed life; 0/1 defiant luck)
Panache: 4/4 (1/1 deed reroll); 0/1 inexplicable luck
Consumables: 1/1 swordmaster's flair
Effects: 3 Cha damage, +4/+4 inspiration
Aurelian retreats, pushing the others back out of the rubble, then assumes a guard stance.
I'll ready an action to attack if something comes within range; maybe they won't have reach in human form.
+2 relic rapier: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30
Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 7 = 18
Crit?: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 7 = 18
Parry (DC=attacker's roll): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Damage (includes 7 precision damage): 1d6 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 7 = 18
3 panache if parry goes off
I moved my fig back, with the assumption others will move (despite Prim saying she moved up). I moved back enough that the enemies could step into not-difficult terrain, so I can 5-foot step forward in case they do have reach.

Sarine Dulciare |

Are we all where we should be? I think the idea was for everyone to fall back some if Aurelian could reach us and he did. As things stand on the map, Sarine hasn't moved back (I was waiting to hear about Aurelian) and it looks like Prim & Zay came forward to cast spells. Should we all be backward some?

Primrose Lethanna |

Prim wants to be in the front exactly never. She will be behind you, but healing Aurelian was more important than running way to her. I'll move her back.

Aurelian Fache |

Sometimes being in the front is nice, Aurelian thinks. Sometimes being in the rear. Sometimes on top, sometimes on bottom... :)

Zay |

Fighting defensively; AC will be 28.
Zay makes a disappointed noise at seeing how clumped they are; plans to get onto their backside and provide a distraction will be less effective than they might be. Instead, Zay tries to urge their numerous enemies to focus attentions on the cloud that's annoying their faces.
Vs the one directly south of me
Hasted slam 1, fighting defense, including Prim's bonuses which I believe are still going: 1d20 + 14 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 14 + 1 - 4 = 26
Damage: 1d5 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 4 = 14
Hasted slam 2, fighting defense, including Prim's bonuses which I believe are still going: 1d20 + 14 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 14 + 1 - 4 = 28
Damage: 1d5 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 4 = 10
Buffs up from me on party: still the prot energy sonic, unlikely to matter right now; feather step on Sarine

"Zay, fall back!" Aurelian orders, still not wanting the group to be in the rubble left by the monster he just killed.
He flips a dagger up from his boot and sends it flying toward one of the attackers not fighting Zay any one that's not in melee, letting out a startling cry as it hits home. Afterward, he falls into his usual fighting stance, ready to fend off any attacks.

Zay |

Realistically, what do you think falling back is going to do other than let enemies with reach get a lot of attacks on us? I have a 28 AC right now; I'm basically hoping to tie some of them up trying to hit me, while you guys can take down the ones that slip past me, without getting mobbed in enough numbers to drop our already depleted HP. I don't object to pulling back if there's a sound point to it, but I am where I am quite intentionally. I can probably survive some rounds of attacks unless they roll really lucky (which can always happen), but if all of them mob our front line, Sarine's got like four solid hits until she goes down, and they're going to hit her AC about 50% of the time*, as opposed to needing natural 20s to hit me. Not trying to meta-game, just observing that currently, Zay is a tank, and is acting as one. I'm attempting to act in the party's best interests here; I disagree that my pulling back would accomplish that goal, but I'm certainly open to counter-arguments.
*Granted, that's assuming the same bonuses as the other faceless so far, and I could be wrong about that.

Sarine Dulciare |

Sarine is in good (not perfect) shape and is Hasted. I think we need her in there carving up all the bad guys. If Aurelian can cut off their access to Prim & Tettia, we should be able to get this.
Sarine steps on air just above the rubble as she moves forward to face the hated faceless.
8/18 rounds of bloodrage remaining, 6/7 rounds of Haste remaining. Target one that is wounded, or the enemy straight in front of her otherwise.
Attack (bloodrage, power attack, inspired, hasted): 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 2 - 2 + 4 + 1 = 35
Damage: 2d6 + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 9 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 29
Sarine's AC should be 23 for any attacks against her this turn.

Primrose Lethanna |

Finally able to heal herself, Prim uses the wand to try and get herself back to fighting shape once again.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 5) + 3 = 16
Dak - Aurelian's HP on Roll20 should be 47. I adjust mine own already.

Aurelian Fache |

OK, that's fine, Zay. I'll hope some come past you guys :) but in the meantime protect Prim and Tettia.
