Ylrhea barely manages to find a disguised switch set underneath the tile. There doesn't seem to be any traps.
Female Gnome Rogue 13; Mythic Tier 3rd (Trickster) HP: 115/115; AC: 26, FF: 19, T: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +16, Will +7 (+4 vs fear); Perception: +19; Init: +8
"There's a switch," Ylrhea says. "Want me to push it?"

Looking at the others she kind of shrugs while stepping away from the stairs for a moment, "Huh...I don't know. What do the rest of you think? I'm kinda curious to see what it does."

Cyna casts Augury hoping to determine the nature of the switch.

"I think it should be safe to press." Cyna says.

"Hang on." Sadhana says closing her eyes for a moment and splintering off a fragment of her will. "Just in case."
Unseen servant.

As the switch is pressed, the walls rotate to reveal shiny ebony panels on the other side. The light in the room goes out and the walls are illuminated by millions of small blue lights that continuously move. A wizened voice seems to speak from nowhere.
"Δεδομένου ότι καταφέραμε να καταγράψουμε την κίνηση και τις θέσεις των αστεριών, παρατηρήσαμε ότι υπάρχουν ορισμένοι αστερισμοί που καταδεικνύουν τη μοίρα."
On one panel, a series of open dots connected by lines appears. A grouping of the small blue lights seems to moving to fit into the open dots, but it is still slightly off.
The voice falls silent and the blue lights fade away. Once the light returns to the room, the walls revolve back to the golden side.
Female Gnome Rogue 13; Mythic Tier 3rd (Trickster) HP: 115/115; AC: 26, FF: 19, T: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +16, Will +7 (+4 vs fear); Perception: +19; Init: +8
"What was that all about?" Ylrhea asks.

Listening carefully to what the voice says she tries to interpret the meaning of what it was saying for the others. Shrugging slightly she says, "Apparently the druids had been studying the movement and positions of stars for a very long time and came to find out that certain constellations portend doom. The constellation that it showed...they had been studying that one throughout the ages and it signifies a great catastrophe." She pauses for a moment to get her breath before going on, "They said that only ONCE have those stars aligned and when they did they nearly faced the end of the world. That particular alignment brought them the dreaded shard and the invasion of "otherworldly monstrosities"...whatever that means. Probably like some of the ones we battled in destroying some of the other shards. Anyways, it goes on to say that they are afraid that if they align again, we may face something even more terrible. In other words, possibly the end of the world? We have just got to destroy the rest of those shards and then we can deal with Malfeliax." She shudders involuntarily as she says the dreaded dragons name.
Female Human (Anizari) Female Human (Anizari) Magus (Bladebound) 14 : Mythic tier 4th (Champion ); HP: 160/160; AC:34 FF:30, T:15; Init:+5, Fort: +12, Ref: +6, Will: +10; Perception:+4(+6)
"Hmmm...yeah it sounds like that alignment is what's coming. Gives us something to look into at least." Sādhanā says, still somewhat in awe of the amazing display.
Female Half-elf Druid 14/Hierophant 3 HP 123/130; AC 20, FF 19, Touch 11; Perception +30, Init +8; Fort: +12 (+5 vs cold weather), Ref: +6, Will: +16
She shakes her head while shrugging slightly, "I don't know....is there anyone we have talked to that might know something about this star stuff?"
Was there someone we saw in Lysse that was using a telescope and talking about the stars and stuff?
Only three people met Ard: Sadhana, Fae and Arista.
Female Human (Anizari) Female Human (Anizari) Magus (Bladebound) 14 : Mythic tier 4th (Champion ); HP: 160/160; AC:34 FF:30, T:15; Init:+5, Fort: +12, Ref: +6, Will: +10; Perception:+4(+6)
"One must keep a wary eye on them. You never know what they may portend one day."
She could hear the words replay in her head as clearly as when they were first spoken. "Ard....the man who attuned the fork to travel across planes. If anyone would have any insight into this it would be him." Sādhanā says, recalling the conversation about stellar changes.
Female Half-elf Druid 14/Hierophant 3 HP 123/130; AC 20, FF 19, Touch 11; Perception +30, Init +8; Fort: +12 (+5 vs cold weather), Ref: +6, Will: +16
She nods looking a bit confused, "Okay...so where is this Ard guy?" She asks, the name completely unfamiliar to her.

Cyna was there for that too, but she's usually so quiet when Fae's around, I didn't recall that.

I'm an abrasive personality so I've gotta give Sis a chance to shine on her own and all.
Cyna figures that it would take about a month and a half for the stars to fall in alignment. Yet she's sure that there's something else that the constellation represents.

"I recognize the pattern but not it's meaning. We have less than two months before alignment." Cyna states.

She nods, "Yeah....so....who is this Ard guy again and where is he? If he's not too far away, maybe we can ask him for some advice after the wedding?" She asks trying to sound hopeful. There just had to be a way to figure this out and keep horrible things from happening.
♀ Tiefling Spirit Ranger 14, Trickster Tier 4
"He was in Lysse. Big house with a telescope if I remember right." Cyna answers.

She gets a look on her face as if thinking of something, "Oh...oh...I know. We have to go there to get your flowers for the wedding. While you are taking care of that and Arista is handling her business, Rhy and I can go see this Ard guy and ask him what he knows about these constellations. What do you guys think?"

Looks like the board are my reply the other night.
"Yeah, he studies the stars and somehow derives greater meaning from their position. If anyone would have an idea of what we're looking for it would probably be him." Sādhanā says as they move up.

As you ascend, you come to one of the walkways leading to the first of the turrets.

She nods, "Yeah...let's go check them out. I wonder if they work?" She poses out loud before heading onto the walkway towards the turret.
When I say "turret", I mean an extension of the tower that is apart from it. There is no weaponry there.
You arrive at the door of the turret, which opens up into a modest dormitory with four beds and several bookcases. A fireplace dominates one side of the structure.

The sight of the books lining the shelves, and the potential lost knowledge now regained, brings a smile to Sādhanā's face as they enter the dormitory, the magus moving closer to scan the bookshelves.
Unfortunately for the excited Sadhana, the books turn out to be general books on agriculture, manuals instructing druids how to combat the undead and several books about time management that remain in pristine condition.

Oh...I'm sorry. I misunderstood.
Going inside she looks around and kind of shrugs, "Well..it's not exactly what I was expecting to find, but it's still pretty neat." She remarks as she looks over the books as well.
Tesia thinks the manuals might be worthwhile.
If you study the manuals for a week, you can change your favored enemy from aberrations to undead.

"Well that's good, actually amazing considering that those books haven't existed for centuries....possibly millennia." Sādhanā says with a chuckle. "This might make a good place for the Green Circle to re-establish things."
