B+@#@~@$ BEDROLLS! I SLEEP ON THE GROUND I AM A MOTHER ORC FREAKIN!
OOC: Now i am no expert but the way i am reading the feats is that in order for the tiefling to have the different stat increases as well as the heritage ability bonuses is a feat called Fiendish Heritage? And to make it worse i think they are supposed to be randomed. I am currently still in Orc but a giant red demon wielding a large greatsword i would fear would be OP.

So, of the three, the highest Charisma score is 15, which is pretty decent, for typical adventuring. However, later in the Kingmaker campaign, Charisma becomes a HUGE DEAL, as it affects persuasiveness/leadership score/success of the ruling body, and the end goal of this game being we three ruling a nation.
Thanatos, I would suggest to put one of your stat bumps (the ones at level 4, 8, etc) into Charisma, to bring that +2 to a +3. Or acquire a headband that does something similar.
Secondly, we will be depending on the Use Magic Device skill a lot if we do not have an arcane caster; please keep that in mind when allocating skill points.

I'm not sure the bandits want to own the trading post, just reap the profits of it. They currently got a good thing going -stealing from a defenseless elderly couple, who are doing all the work, earning the coin. Bandits don't like to work for coin.
I don't know, just firing from the hip here:
What if we try to recruit those who visit in the morning? We would need a bargaining chip, like promising a higher cut on treasure stolen (we don't need to keep promises). Then go to their base/camp/hideout that night (we three can see in the dark) and kill their leader. Then we have a few who already support us as we take over without killing all of them. Once we control the bandits, we can collect a "protection tax" from the trading post. Thoughts? Ideas?

I didn't plan on my character doing all the talking. Maybe for the current situation at the bandit camp, one of you can say we have knowledge of a secret treasure trove? I dunno. Something to pique their interest.
Alternatively, Thanatos, do you have a way to extinguish the fires? If we can blind them, the fight will go easier.

We might want to consider another recourse the straight back to our base, maybe some kind of test or what not. But keep in mind at some point soon theses guys will be alone with oleg. Do we trust them? We may end up coming back to a raided trading post with two dead old people on our hands. Like it or not Oleg is kinda the only person that matters so far. Again, FOR THE RECORD, I vote we kill one at random or kill which ever one confesses. We seem to favor the carrot over the stick!
What do we want our kingdom to be known as? Something we might want to ponder over. I envision a viking'ish-aztec society where were raiding and looting yet we come home to a few nice sacrifices to relax to. What our you two's goals?
Remember evil campaign we can play/think outside of the lawful good box.

Viking/aztec sounds good. Looting and raiding suits Nor fine, given his history as a merc. Given the amount of rivers in the River Kingdoms, it might be good to procure a few longships later down the road. RIVER REAVERS. Just a thought.
I agree that Oleg is important. I'm just as nervous that the old man might try something to get revenge on the bandits, and get himself killed.
If we end up killing one of the bandits for leaving a trail, we should go raiding after Olegs quickly so these bandits remember the benefits of switching sides.

I like the pseudo-Pocahantas avatar and the hideous picture on the profile. Sorry for the delay, fellas. Work's been nuts. Almost done with a wizard.

I derped and bought my items before reading the scroll creation rules thoroughly. I bought ink, quill, and paper for scribing, not knowing the cost of such material is "subsumed in the cost for scribing a scroll." (p. 552 core). This is not much of a problem now, but later when I want to create 2nd and 3rd level spells, the actual cost of materials will be less than the scroll creation cost, and I prefer consistency.
Would it be easier if I designate a certain amount of my coin as "raw materials" for scroll making? Or just pay the cost, and not worry about the details?
Your call, DSP.
Edit: Also, can I keep my misspent coin, to spend in future scrollings?

Question 1: Just pay the cost of scribbing the scroll. If you can work the purchase of such materials into your role play every so often, that would be fun, but I'm not going to freak out if you don't.
Question 2: Yes, but keep it for whatever you want.
General comment: Everyone make sure you know how your class abilities and feats and such work before you take them or use them. I'm not a fan of do-overs past level 1. If you are looking at something that could be interpreted a number of ways, check with me before adding it officially. "I didn't realize that's how it worked" will not be grounds for altering a character past level 1.
