I went ahead and advanced you on the map. Current Locations, Hadanka is up the rope and in the tunnel, he can act next turn. To get into the chimney, it's another climb check of 15. (sorry) Gram started up the rope and is halfway up. Cit'Vaya is at the base ready to climb up next round.

As soon as I am able, I will attempt to fast climb the rope, which will decrease my check by 5. This still means that I can't fail by 5 or more, but I could fail to make progress. I will put this amount of effort for as long as combat will be going on. So I will go ahead and make checks until I've achieved the successes for the 40 ft of climb necessary to reach the landing, which will set my actions for the next couple rounds.

Fast climbing will get you to the bottom of the tunnel at the end of your first round. Your second round will allow you to get into the tunnel and move. Your third round will be open.

Cit'Vaya climbs up the rope, right after Grams makes it to the top. She is able to double move and get near the top. Meanwhile Hadanka climbs up the chimney and now can see the bestie.Knowledge Nature of 12 will identify it as a Cave Fisher. Bonuses will give you questions. Butharn sees Cit'vaya move up the rope and follows after her.

The cave fisher snaps twice at Jack

You're too close to reach. If you have a smart phone, download the app Google Slides. You can view the map on there. Earlier, i said that you can climb into the chimney in round 3. A move action to get to the chimney and another to get up it. You can act this round, (4) I'll use that attack, plese roll for damage on the morning star.

The Cave fisher has been severely wounded, But it fights on.

Combat Over

Taldor faction:

You have a chance to collect the dead drop left here by another Imperial agent. A single climbing piton lies wedged into the wall, only 10 feet from the base. The piton is hollow and easily opened by simply unscrewing the top. The piton contains a wax stamp seal of a Gokan noble house.

45 minutes later

A narrow path leads up the mountain, hugging a sheer cliff face to one side, while dropping off to the other into what appears to be the remains of a rock slide. Several alcoves have been carved into the cliff face, each containing a small stone shrine—some little more than simple standing stones, others ornately carved lanterns or small houses. The path is well defined, promising easier progress, and is a welcome break from the rough terrain leading up to this point.

Knowledge Religion or Local 15:

these shrines serve to ward off malicious spirits and bad luck, thus protecting travelers. The monks once saw to the proper maintenance and care of these shrines. Since the monastery’s abandonment, however, the shrines have fallen into a state of disrepair and no longer ward the path and travelers against misfortune.

The rocks at the bottom is dense ruble, which will add 5 to any acrobatics checks and 2 to any stealth checks. A climb check of 15 is required to climb up or down. You are currently 20 feet from the ground.
